It's always gone well. They show up when they say, they give us a quote and they finish the work on time. I can't ask for anything else.

They were fine. The job was fine. It was a good deal. They were timely and there were no problems.

I talked to him over the phone and he advised that I make a list of services I was wanting done to make it worth it to have him come out. I did appreciate this because everyone else I talked to wasn't interested in servicing my issue due to it being such a small job. However, Mr. Menedez was nice enough to be honest and up front with me. His name is currently on my refrigerator, and I will be using him in the future, I am currently working on my list.

Based on the number of positive reviews I am supprised my experience was so poor, but it was. I called him on a Thursday, described my problem, told him what I needed and he said he understood and started to describe rough cost estimates. I asked about timing to have the work done and the gentleman said that he "probably could have someone out to look at and repair it within a few days", but I should email him the details we just talked about and then provided an email address. He said he would contact me later once he was back at his office (later that day). Fast forward to Friday afternoon, no call, no email. So I called back. When I talked to the same gentleman, he had no idea what I was talking about, said he is "super busy with all the rain" and has no idea when he would be able to come out. When I had asked about the email I sent and the agreement to talk later that night, he denied making that agreement. He said he would go back to office at 3 pm (that day) and review my email and we can talk and review schedule. No call..... Needless to say, unprofessional and a waist of my valuable time, as well as his I am sure

Used Angie's List notification to vendor then followed up with voice call the next day. Nick responded and I explained the issue that we had a plumber evaluate a water stain on the second floor ceiling which is right below the third floor bathroom. Nick provided the pricing scheme. I accepted and he came out with his employee. I was low on some paint so they purchased the paint and drywall. They closed off an area so dust would not affect the living space and worked quickly then painted the area. They were great, quick, and professional. I would definitely hire again and in fact, I am working with them to put in a new backsplash in our kitchen after he provided an estimate. Very knowledgeable and professional.

They did a great job with everything I asked to be done. The handled the items quickly and efficiently and the end result was great!

That was fine but it wasn't great. They were on time. Their price was in line with market; it wasn't cheap but it was not expensive. Nothing really stood out, they did the job fine.

Came on time to provide an estimate. Set appointments several times to come to work but never showed up and never called to cancel. For months, and months he said he had a death in the family and had to go to Puerto Rico. Then he was too busy, then he did not show up and did not call. He said it was supposed to rain, Then a month later, he said he is his own boss and does not have to work if he does not feel like.

Excellent quality work, took slightly longer (extra 1/2) day, but no extra charges. Victor is absolutely the best contractor I have ever worked with in Northern Virginia. If I wasn't moving out of the area, I would continue to use him and his teams for any services around my house. HIGHLY recommend!

We had to take care of some nit-picky HOA inspection issues and a few interior items for the purchasers.

The provider did not had the courtesy to respond to email including follow up emails. I will not reach to him again.

They started on the day they said and completed before the estimated completion date. A walk through/punch list was done and any issues corrected later that day. Was very pleased with the team's committment to the job.

Victor and his team helped me rehab a rental condo that I own. The previous tenant had completely shredded the walls leaving tears and holes in the drywall. Victor gave me a very reasonable priced for 4 guys for two days inclusive of all the paint. They showed up on time (which is good, since I don't live in the unit), and finished ontime. When the job was done, Victor met me to walk through the property to make sure I was satisfied with the work. I did notice a few days later however that there were some minor paint spots on some of the light fixtures and tile floors, but all in all I was very satisfied with the work and the price.

Ok - they were unable to handle Alexandria City permiting. Job was sloppy/poorly executed. They offered to come fix but I declined to have them in my home again and took a discount off the price. Was very stressful having to deal with mistakes/delays/etc. I would not use again.

They said that they'd call me back to schedule an appointment, but I never heard back from them. I ended up dropping the project altogether.

We liked Victor, and we trust his years of experience, both as a builder and a handyman. However, when it came to the work itself, he wasn't around for most of it since he had other jobs to supervise. When we had concerns with how something had turned out, he usually addressed it and had it fixed. The crew built knee wall around our existing old-fashioned stair rail, regrouted/recaulked tile in our master bathroom, and patched up some miscellaneous drywall cracks and imperfections throughout the house. Now that the job's been done for a little while, small imperfections are somewhat noticeable - crookedness in the paint lines, lack of sanding the ends of the hand rail, unevenness in the grout, etc. The construction also caused some minor damage to our hardwood floors, though Victor did offer to come back and do some touch-up work there. All in all, he was a nice guy, up-front and fair in his pricing; when he forgot an item in the estimate that was needed to meet code, he didn't charge for the labor to add it in.

He never showed and never did call or cancel. Very unsatisfactory business practice. Definitely and 'F' in all categories above.

Their service was great and I continue to use them. Their price is competitive and the quality of the work was good. They were very punctual and cleaned up well.

The workers were all neat with their work. The owner stayed on-site throughout most of the installation and did several inspections as the work progressed. I was very satisfied as my design was carried out correctly. I plan to use this company again.

Victor told me when I called him that he was at a job, and to send him an email about what work I wanted done and some dates and time I was available to meet. I sent a detailed, specific email about what I wanted. I got an email specifying 10/31 and the time. No one came, No one called. So I called. Vic seemed annoyed and harried - was already heavily booked, but would come over for a few minutes. When he came, he told me that he doesn't do small jobs, his son in the office booked the appointment but didn't tell Vic. I mentioned another thing I could possibly have his company do, could he give me an estimate. He said he would send me one early the following week, and I said I could work with that. I never heard from him. If he wasn't going to do the job, he could have told me up front, and not waste my time. I could have immediately contacted someone else, like Bowman plumbers, who did a great job and was great to work with. I will do their review shortly.

I would like to say a positive thing....on time to give trhe original estimate and was very polite.

everything went ver smoothly! started on time and finished more or less on time.

For the most part they did a good job, despite being overpriced.However the flexible ducts they installed from the bathroom exhaust out to the roof were not insulated and so one cold morning, many months later, water starts dripping down the bathroom exhaust vent. When I called them to note the problem, Victor became very defensive and said they do everything by code. That might very well be the case, but these are not Class A contractors that do the work, and the solution seems to have been the cheapest solution, not the best solution. I would recommend shopping around before you shell out the big bucks for this handyman - and if your project is too small or below $5000, don't expect you will ever get a call back. Very poor communications and return calls for smaller jobs.

I contacted the company for some work to be repaired after some water damage. I was contacted back with an appointment time on 10/23. They were a no call and a no show. I contacted the company 15 mins after the appointment and left a message to see if they were coming and I never received a call back.
