We were very pleased with both the quality of the work and with the flexibility of Victor and his crew as they responded to a situation that was much more involved than any of us had anticipated. Victor made schedule adjustments, worked through a weekend and gave us excellent help in selecting floor tile, shower doors and other shower hardware that we had no idea we would need to be purchasing.(Supposedly, the leak was caused by a worn wax ring on the toilet, according to our sorry former plumbers--the wax ring was worn, but it was not the source of the trouble.) Victor was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us a great education on the construction in our house and the key facts about our plumbing. He took great pride in getting everything exactly right, even doing some work at no expense to us to perfect part of the installation that he was not satisfied with. We plan to have him do lots of work for us that we've waited to do until we found someone we trust.

Very nice people, very accommodating. But very shoddy work. I'm finding errant drops of paint all over the place -- on the floor, on cabinets and racks, etc. In many places that should have been protected from paint. I'm also finding many splotches where the old paint can be seen under the new, or where he just didn't paint. The plumbing work was even worse -- it led to seepage from pipes that have destroyed some drywall, rusted through grout, and ruined flooring.

Victor returned my phone call quickly, and came by to walk through the house and give me an estimate on the work to be done. Throughout the process, he was very communicative, very professional, and showed up to do the work on the date and time we agreed upon. The other members of his team were very professional as well. The painting was beautifully done, and the team cleaned everything up after themselves. All the other jobs were well done, too. We couldn't be more pleased. And the price was fair and reasonable--although we added a few tasks, the final bill was very much in keeping with the original estimate. We will definitely work with Victor again.

Overall work went well. Victor came out the day after I called him and provided me with an estimate. I was impressed with how he was able to get me on his schedule the same week after the estimate. Victor was very friendly and arrived on time to both appointments. Victor and I went over the work, he described the work to his co-worker (who spoke limited English) and then he left for another job site (after asking my permission). The guy he left worked extremely hard and fast despite being on high ladders. I was satisfied with the work. Although even though I had the work done a month ago, it hasn't rained since, so I can't really tell if the gutter corners no longer leak.

Extremely well (which was very important because we had just lost two months on our home improvement schedule due to working with a previous handyman who was exceedingly problematic.) Mr. Menendez is professional and focused as well as manages his work crew (who are similarly professional) flawlessly. The craftsmanship on the crown molding and chair rail install was outstanding. When we found errors he promptly handled them personally or directed crew members to address the issue. We have a few more tweaks that need to be made in order for the bookcase to be perfect but he has promised to work with us (we are going to roll the remaining tweaks into our next job with him because he is trustworthy).

In an area where you just about have to beg a contractor to do any work, Ashburn Handyman was a nice change. Victor was very responsive. He answered our call quickly, came out and gave us our estimate and got to work. Overall, we're pretty pleased with Victor and the work he and his crews did. We have another project for him in the works and will probably keep his number handy for future jobs. You should give him a call if you are thinking about some home improvements.

I was very happy. I contacted him on a Saturday and he was there within a half hour, we walked the property and he even pointed out some things I didn't know about. He said he would fax the estimate within an hour which is unheard of and he did. I'm looking forward to doing business with him, if not on this deal then on another one.

He repaired the kitchen floor and cut out Pergo flooring to fill in the gap on our floor. He installed baseboards throughout the entire house consisting of 10 rooms.

He had to charge for the travel, so he recommended I find someone closer to the job at a lower cost. He was very nice, and let me know that if I couldn't find anyone closer, he would come out later this week.

Victor came to my home within two days and completed the job in one day. He has a good disposition and work ethic. I would recommend him for odd jobs. He cleaned up as he worked and always made sure I was completely satisfied with the job. He would tell me when there was a problem and offer options on how to deal with it.

Mr. Menendez was courteous and professional, from the beginning. He told me that the ceiling damage in my garage was likely due to water damage and that he would check the roof over the garage for leaks. He gave me two possible scenarios for the damage -- a pipe within the ceiling that might be leaking, or some roof tiles that might not be fitting correctly. He checked the roof, saw some tiles out of alignment and recommended the less expensive course of action, which was to repair the roof tiles and not go into the ceiling. He also fixed the floorboard to my satisfaction. I find him trustworthy and his work excellent. I would bring him back for future work, in a heartbeat.

He's a very nice guy. I think he's capable and thorough. He used a helper on one of the two days. I think he's also very expensive: $100/ hour. But I am so frustrated trying to find people to do stuff; I kind of hire whoever shows up saying they WANT to work. That's why I use Angie's - my fault - I should have tried a couple of other guys for estimates. I didn't. My bad. Viktor did the work in a timely and professional manner. He's attentive and responsive. I would hire him again but also get other estimates. I don't know for sure I paid more than I should have I've used another handyman service in the past and they were REALLY out of sight.

Victor showed up as scheduled, ready to begin a complete our basement bathroom renovation. We enlarged the shower area, installed two wall mounted sinks (from China with unusual plumbing fixtures that posed no problem for Victor), tiled the floor, added two lighting fixtures, completed the dry wall (a very dusty part of the job!), installed floor molding, and built in a shelving unit to make it more customized. He has a very pleasant work attitude and doesn't lolly-gag. We provided lots of beverages (gator aid, water, sodas) to help keep Victor hydrated. He cleaned up his work area each day so that we could walk through the space to access a back room when he wasn't working We needed to postpone completion of the job because a vital part to a shower kit we ordered was missing. We will definitely hire Victor to work with us again.

Responded promptly to our request and made the repair the same day.
