Apex Construction Services came in and completely renewed our townhouse. Nadine Toppin and her crew took on a huge job and were professional and timely in all their work. They scheduled the work to minimize disruption of our lives, performed all work to high standard, cleaned up and hauled off debris from the job, were polite and friendly, and went above and beyond many times to add to the value of our home. The interior was painted with beautiful custom colors, with the trim done in a glossy white that really pops. Rafael and Joel also painted the ceilings in every room, and removed the wallpaper in the breakfast room and added some crown molding. They installed blinds in every window and curtains on a tall window in the front. They installed 6 new light fixtures throughout the house, including one that required a very tall ladder! Joel installed a new tile back splash in the kitchen, and Mike added casing around the pass-through window to create a more modern look. Mike removed the old and installed the new wall oven, and replaced some new kitchen cabinet doors. He also installed a new glass tub door and a new sliding glass patio door. Each bathroom got new mirrors and fixtures, and any minor repairs that were noticed were fixed. Nadine was wonderful at suggesting colors and helping with selecting tiles. She also helped me stage the house for showing. Everything was done meticulously, and we were amazed at how quickly it all came together. It was a very large job, but they completed all the major work in 3 weeks. All the people involved in this job were extremely accommodating and easy to work with. Rafael is an amazingly proficient painter. Joel did a fabulous job on the backsplash, which required him to individually cut and place tiny 1"x 2" tiles on a horizontal surface. I was quite impressed with both of them. Mike is amazingly versatile: carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, installation - he can do it all! Nadine is fun to work with, and really helped me pull it all together. After it was all finished, we realized that we needed to change out one of the light fixtures they had installed because it stopped working (faulty light fixture, not installation). Although they were already on another job, Nadine and Mike made time to come out, check out the wiring and install a new fixture which looks even better than the old one. Our house now looks beautiful and is really getting glowing comments from potential buyers. We feel we were really lucky to have found Apex Construction and Nadine Toppin to help us achieve our goals. She was really helpful and understanding about what we could afford, and used her resources to help us save money on materials. Her price was very competitive, and the work was top of the line. We recommend them highly.
