Description of Work: Minor repair to a double-hung window mechanism and three torn screens repaired. A guy came out the day after I called to fix the windows and take away the screens, and someone returned to reinstall the screens 10 days later. Very reasonable price, given that I didn't have to take the screens to the shop.

I was appalled by the attitude of one of the contractors who was sent out for the actual install. He was blatantly rude to me and even walked away mumbling something while I was talking to him. His attitude was demeaning. I will never call this company back for further work.

Description of Work: American Screen and Glass promptly arrived for an initial estimate and measuring. There price was about the same as other estimates we received, but all quotes seemed a little expensive for installation of a square piece of glass about five square feet. That said, the glass, chrome mountings, and installation process were all great. I would use this company again unless an equally reliable company could compete on price.

The estimator was professional and shared very useful information about pet screens, which helped me decide not to get them. I really appreciated that because the company would have made more money if I did. The guys who performed the repair did a fine job and took time to answer my questions.
