I send quote requests to the top five highest rated (via Angie's List) fencing companies in my area. All American Fence (Nino) was the first to respond to my email request for quotes. He arrived promptly and provided a thorough quote based upon my husband's very specific job requirements. We took a few weeks to get additional quotes and obtain HOA approval. There was absolutely no pressure from All American Fence during this time. Within a week of notifying All American Fence, the installation was complete (it would have been faster, but the utility companies didn't finish marking their lines until yesterday). On the day of installation, the crew arrived on time and worked past dark (a 12+ hour day). The final product is excellent quality, with obvious attention to detail (highly experienced crew) and the cleanup is most appreciated (with many home improvement projects under our belt, I really notice when a company takes the time to leave our property as they found it or better). We are thrilled with the entire process and would recommend All American Fence without hesitation.

When we bought our home last summer, we knew replacing the fence was going to be one of the first projects on our priority list. The old one was rotting and broken in places, and one of our dogs was constantly finding her way out of various holes in the fence. When spring of this year came around, we were more than ready to get it done. I found All American Fences on Angie's List and added them to the list of 3 companies from which to get a quote. When I contacted them, Nino came out almost immediately (on a Saturday no less) to measure the fence, and then sent me pictures of replacement options later that day. I received a full quote from the company within a couple of days. They were the first ones to provide a quote, and there was no pressure at all from them during the time it took to get additional quotes. One company that came out was very high pressure - trying to get me to sign that very minute - and was way more expensive, even with their "discount". I do not like when companies pressure me into something and tell me a quote is only valid if I sign the deal that day. So, they were out. The third company was also easy to work with, but they were slightly higher in price than All American. When we decided to move forward with AAF, they got the service scheduled quickly, and they arrived promptly and ready to go on the day of service. They did a great job of respecting our property and keeping things neat and clean during the process. They worked until it was dark but didn't quite finish the job, so they were back first thing the next morning. I wasn't able to be home that morning, so I left a check and went on my way. When I got home, there was our beautiful new fence, all finished, and making our property look so much better. That was several months ago, and we've had no problems with anything in that time. I'd definitely recommend this company and would use them again.

The work performed was excellent in all areas. They accommodated a last minute change request and the installation crew were efficient And resulted in a superior job. The materiel used was high quality and the cost was extremely competitive resulting in excellent value.

I did not have my plat lines immediately available so they used my neighbors to measure it out and identified precise placement for property line. They did the fence install quickly and great quality. The two gates they even used 6x6 which is much more substantial. My only challenge was punctuality and follow through on communication. They do not monitor their phone or E-mail with any regularity, which is why I dropped the rating on responsiveness. That said, the quality of work was excellent and I would use them again.

It went fantastically. We had a bit of a snag in the morning only due to their truck breaking down and needed to get repaired, but they honored their schedule with us and in no time, we had our fence.

The provider never called back with the promised estimate. He indicated he would call back within 12 hours to schedule a time to give us an estimate and we never heard from him again. UPDATE: The owner showed up at our door this morning (April 12) after seeing our review. He apologized and said he had no record of our call. He offered to give us an estimate but we've already hired someone else. He was polite and professional.

Responsiveness was excellent. Work was started within a week of signing the agreement. Workers quickly removed the old fence and installed the new fence. Quality of fence materials and workmanship appear to be excellent. Workers removed all of the debris but failed to sweep the work areas leaving dirt and small pieces of wood, which was removed by the home owner. Several days after the fence was installed, a split picket was observed. All American Fence agreed to replace it at no charge, and that work was completed within a week of placing the call. Overall, very good service and extremely good value. I recommend All American Fence.

All American Fences did an excellent job replacing several posts and repairs to my 6 foot stockade fence. Mr. Vidal who was pleasent to work with provided a timely estimate for the work to be done and I coordinated closely with his office to schedule the work. I am very happy with the work that All American Fences did, I am planning on using them in the future and I would recommend them to anyone. It is refreshing to work with a contractor who is honest, reasonable and dependable and isn't just trying to wring-out your wallet. There are too many of those typoes of companies in this area and Angies list helps us a homeowners to avoid pricing creep and deception. All American Fences is a good compnay that I trust and recommend.

The field foremen communicated to me their plan of attack. I checked on the proper material. It is advisable to monitor the work to be sure your expectations are met. Ask questions if you don't understand a process or initial layout for installation. Field conditions may very from plan and be ready to adjust if necessary. No two layouts present the same conditions. On paper the description sounds clear and usually is but once the work starts observation makes for minor adjustments ie gas meter location etc.

Nino's crew showed up promptly and got right to work. I had a great time watching the nine hour process of building my fence. They didn't mind me coming outside to watch either - instead they asked for my input when their were minor decisions to be made. These guys worked their tails off and showed that they really cared and were proud of their work. The end result is a beautiful solid fence with hand-made gates.

Nino came out and talked through the job and I felt like he understood what we wanted. A day or two later, we received an estimate that was a little cheaper than the other companies, but not so low that we were worried. Although the fence proposal was detailed, the concrete estimate was simply a price with no information about the thickness, rebar, etc. I also had questions about drainage. I replied to the emailed quote asking some follow up questions and never heard back. About a week later, I called the company and was told they never received my email. The woman then remembered actually she did receive my email and had forwarded it to Nino, but he was just busy and would get back to me. A few days later, still no response, so I called again. Nino agreed he needed to come back and said he would on Sunday. No show and no call. I called him on Monday morning and he explained he had gotten busy with his kids but would come that day. Again, he didnt show up, didnt call, and didnt answer my calls. I called the office again and the woman explained that Nino wasnt supposed to do his own scheduling, so I set up another appointment. He showed up at my house at the wrong time, when I wasn't home, so we had to have a very long, very hard to understand conversation, but I think we finally got the point across. After a few more days, I never received the final quote as expected, so I called Nino. No answer. I called the office and the woman again said she would talk to Nino and figure it out, then get back to me that day. That was this morning, still no call back. At this point, Ive wasted over a month on All American because they were the cheapest company. Unfortunately, they cant seem to get organized enough to do much, so I will have to keep looking for another company.

It was an acceptable cosmetic fix till I listed my house for sale. I got a buyer for the house and upon hiring an inspector to inspect the house, the inspection report came in that what they did is not to code and I didn't even know about it. They failed to explain it to me as they just wanted the job and screw the customer. When I called them to come fix it, they said we can't fix something that you asked for. I have to be honest that I didnt know about codes and safety issues. I lived it with it till today 6/20/2014. If it wasn't for an insepection report, I would not have known about it. Plus, Nino Vidal couldnt communicate well in English. He used someone called Milton and all assured it will be fine if I chose to live in the house or sell it. Now they will not come to fix it and I will incur more expense to fix something that they never made me aware of it in the first place. THIS IS WHAT THE INSPECTOR SAID ON HIS REPORT: Safety Repair: Today's deck support standards typically call for proper footings, 6x6 posts and 1/2 inch bolts at the connection to the beam. Not all of these elements appear present. Install upgrades to comply with current standards. Purchaser requests additional supports and bolts added as recommended by licensed contract selected by seller with receipt provided at settlement. (see pictures of separating horizontal support's that are nailed). Even the flashing between the board and the new joists were not installed. They answered me (it didn't come with the house so we went without it). Ridiculous answer from supposedly a deck contractor. Now I have to re do the whole entire thing once again. They killed themselves for my business and I ended up with the biggest scam. They are too good to admit that they misled me from the beginning of what I requested in the beginning. They should have done it right. As a customer, Nino and Milton should have known it if they work with decks everyday. Am I not right? The were the most responded of all the companies I canted them. They showed up on time and everything was exactly what they told me. I would use them again if I need a new fence.

All American Fences was the first company to respond to my request for an estimate. They responded almost imediately, and follow-up/ follow through was excellent. They performed the work as they said they would, with no hidden costs, and workmanship seems to be very good. They were accomodating to my hectic schedule, and arrived on site when they said they would, and had the job completed the same day. I will definately use them again.

Outstanding. Nino and his team installed a 3-board paddock fence with black wire mesh around our 5 acre property. All work was excellent, and the work was completed quickly and carefully. Excellent clean-up afterwards. Laborers efficient, polite and respectful. I highly recommend All American Fences.

My experience with them was great. They did a great job. They got the job done quickly. They were friendly and professional. They worked really hard and the fence looks great. It was just what we wanted. They were the lowest price that we found and they did a great job.

Service was prompt and cleanup etc was taken care of. We did have a couple of boards that started to warp a little, but American Fence came out within just a couple of days and replaced the boards.

Contacted them March 18, 2014 on AL regarding deck work, etc...and they were quick to respond and set up an appt to come out on 3/22, 3 people showed up on time on appt date (the estimator, the person that measures and the owner). We went over with them what we were thinking and we were also very open to suggestions on what we could do, we decided that we wanted an estimate on tearing down the existing deck and rebuild a bigger deck (with trek boards) along with screening most of it in. The estimator was going to send us the estimate the following Wednesday (3/26), well Wednesday came along and went with no estimate, another 2 weeks went and still no estimate and no word from them, so on April 8, I contacted the owner via AL to check on the status and he again responded promptly with an apology and stated that he would check on it, on 4/9 I received a phone call from the estimator who was apologetic but stated that he didn't know we were in a hurry for the estimate (now keep in mind it has been almost 4 weeks since he came out to give us the estimate and we don't think waiting almost 4 weeks for an estimate is a "hurry" any how) he stated that he would either email us or drop off the estimate on Saturday(4/12) and here we are on 4/17 and still no estimate and no word from them. Our deck is not going to be a cheap one so I am not sure why they didn't want our business.

I contacted American Fences as the are high rated, and say that they repair fences. When I received the call, I mentioned that I preferred a repair over a replacement, but was open to what they thought. They never called to arrange for an estimate, nor did they return my emails. They should not advertise repairs, if they will not perform them.

Everything went exceptionally well. Miss Utility was called early to mark for any underground lines. They said that the work would be done in one day and it was (I thought it would take two days because there was brush/tree in the way). They started at 8 AM and finished at 7 PM. I also had them cut down a large cypress tree that was in the way of the fence. English appeared to be a second language for the two workers, but they were still able to communicate basic items. One guy used his smart phone to show pictures of other fences to ensure that we were on the same page.The fence and gate were built board by board. I intend to use this company again on another property that I own. I paid by check. A credit card payment would have had an extra processing charge (pass thru fee). I am very satisfied.

Smoothly and work is flawless

All American Fences were great. They were terrific and did a wonderful job. They were professional and the fence is beautiful. I would highly recommend them. They gave a very fair price. They were great; very good. We had no complaints. We got a couple of bids. All American had a fair bid. They were clean. We had a little issue with a tree and they came back and took care of it. It was a good use of Angie's List, because we never would have found them otherwise.

Promptly received a response and price estimate from Nino. Nino, with 2 others, showed up the morning the work was scheduled at the time they said they'd be here. They removed the old fence and installed the new one in about 3 hours. Looks great and have received many compliments from neighbors. Would definitely use them again in the future.

The experience went well. They were very responsive, and they completed the project in a short amount of time.
