Got off to a bit of a rocky start as Fidel was supposed to come and give an estimate yesterday and never showed. However my husband spoke with him early this morning and he had guys here by noon to remove a tree in the backyard of our town home with a slanting yard, and remove and grind the stump of a tree in the front yard. The guys did an excellent job removing the trees, and cleaning up the debris. If I had more trees, I would hire them for additional work.

Owner Fidel promptly gave an estimate. They did the job a few days later. Easy to work with and they did a great job cleaning up. The job itself was rather small and several other companies would not even show up for an estimate.

It worked out well. They came and gave me an estimate. They took care of the work and put the bill in the mailbox.

I called ADM to get an estimate at about 3pm, Fidel showed up at 4:30 and gave me an estimate that was quite a bit lower than the previous two estimates we'd received. HIRED. Fidel said his team would show up between 830-9 on Monday. Team was at the door at 830 as promised. By 1030 all the trees were down and stumps were being ground. By 1230 they were all done and cleaned up. Team was professional, friendly and amazingly efficient. I have already recommended ADM to two other friends. We will definitely use them again --- THANKS ADM!!!

From my first email for an estimate till the job was done took a week. The job looked better than I could have hoped for. The guys showed up early, worked hard, and did a nice job cleaning up. They did a small job that another company wasn't interested in doing. The price was very fair and the owner Fidel answered all my questions promptly I will definitely use them again next time and recommend them highly.

I had tree damage during a heavy wind/rain storm. Within 2 hours of my calling them, they came and gave me a quote for cutting down the damaged tree, removing debris, and chopping up the tree stump. Their estimate was considerably less than 2 other estimates I received. The work was completed within 2 days, as promised.

I wish all experiences with contractors would go as well as the ADM job. Fidel, the manager, showed up on time and gave me a written estimate. He was very knowledgeable and went over what they would do and how they would do it. The four man crew showed up at the appointed time and completed the work in around six hours. They parked their big trucks on the street not in my driveway as others have done. I watched in amazement as they cut the large branches and swung them by rope away from the house and other trees. All four men were very plesant and professionals in every way.They ground the stumps and removed all debris. They used blowers to clean the driveway and all traces of their work in the yard. It looks like the trees were never there. The ADM estimate was lower than the other three estimates I received. An outstanding job at a reasonable price.

The men showed up on time and got to work right away. The job actually was finished sooner than I anticipated. Everything was completely cleaned up, no mess. All deck furniture put back in place. I couldn't be more pleased with their services.

It took them approximately 2 days to complete the all work. There were several (many) employees working simultaneously.

Called ADM after a wind storm broke two limbs from a tree in front of my house. The area had been hit hard, so ADM was one of four services I contacted via phone or email. They were the first to reply and so I asked them to come by and take a look at the tree. Will did the estimate, which seemed reasonable to me and we scheduled a time. Though I don't know anything about tree trimming they did the work in what appeared to be a safe manner and definitely did the job I asked them too. Clean up was excellent, with all limbs and debris removed. All in all they did the work as agreed upon, in a professional manner and at a fair price. Considering how busy they must have been with all the trees down in the area my job was probably one of the smallest the tackled that week. My only complaint, reflected in my rating, was their tardiness. They missed every appointment they scheduled. And since they set the times, not me, I did find that annoying. Late by about two hours for the estimate and by a day for the actual work. Once they showed up though great job. Taking into account how busy they probably were and assuming that had something to do with the lateness, I'd use them again.

I called ADM tree Service for an estimate to have a large tree limb removed from my back yard. The phone was answered right away with a very friendly, professional young lady, and they were able to come out, and provide me with a written estimate on that same day. I had several other estimates given to me as well, and ADM was the highest estimate. But because they were so responsive, I called them back offering them the job if they could match a lower price offered from another company (which was only about $40. less). They said yes, they would do the work for the lesser price if I provided them the proof of the other written estimate. They were scheduled to be at my house between 8:30-9:00am on a Saturday. At 9:30 I called to make sure they were still coming, they said they would be here in ~30 minutes. They did not get to my house until ~11:30! When they got there, I showed them the estimate from the other company, and they said "could you still pay the higher price?" I said no, that's not what we agreed to. The man called someone on his cell phone, (I assume his manager) and spoke to him, and said no, I had to pay the higher price. I was so frustrated that they arrived ~ two and 1/2 hours late, then, would not perform the work at the agreed price. I did not have them do the work.

The workers were very professional, they parked their large truck on the street to prevent damage to our lawn (which meant they would have to haul the branches a farther distance so they could be ground up) and began work at approx 10:00am. The workers finished around 4:00pm and did a very good job. I admired the workers bravery since he had to climb a large tree in a dangerous situation and was impressed with how well they cleaned up the yard. My neighbors too noticed their professionalism and also got a quote to have a tree in their yard removed. My tree was taken down on a monday and they did my neighbors house that friday. My neighbor is not on angies list but later told me she was pleased with them. I have since gave their name and number to other neighbors who said they also got a good quote. We plan on hiring them again in the fall. I would recommend them!

An estimate was given over the weekend and the work was performed on Tuesday. It would have been Monday but there was rain. The team arrived early and worked hard for several hours. They were very professional, did an excellent job, and a a lot of wood and branches were hauled away.

ADM Tree Service took care of the task excellently. Fidel was very efficient and led the work from start to finish. The service was done in a clean and very professional manner. I would call on them again for future tree services and highly recommend their work.

I call ADM to make an appointment for a price quote for taking down a 40 foot pine tree. Much to my surprise ADM was able to stop by later that day in order to give me a price estimate. The price estimate seemed extremely fair to me especially in light of the type of work that was dangerous (e.g. chain sawing limbs while 35 feet above ground). I immediately accepted the price quote and was informed that they would not be able to come over and complete the job for a couple of days, which was still great for me. A couple of days later, ADM showed up early in the morning (I like that), covered the Koi point to protect the plants and fish and began the process of sawing down the tree. I took them about 2 1/2 hours to complete the job, which included putting the tree through the chipper to mulch it all up. ADM fininished the chipping, removed their equipment, picked up after themselves and made sure that nothing had been damaged which again made me very happy. I would definitely refer ADM to anyone that need tree removals as I was completely satisfied and very happy with the entire transaction. Thanks ADM Tree Service

A guy from ADM came to give us an estimate on Saturday, and scheduled the job for the following Monday. Three guys arrived at our house around 8am, and were done removing both trees (a pine tree and an oak tree) by noon! It was great--they were quick and did a great job cleaning up. Two guys came back two days later and ground the stumps for us. All in all, they did an excellent job.

Excellent. The team did a really good job especially the gentleman who did the actual cutting. It was amazing to watch the use of ropes, leverage and cutting techniques to ensure that none of the branches landed in my neighbors driveway. They cleaned the area of debris completely. I especially liked that the team worked with me. They listened to me, and I in turn, listened to their suggestions. It was apparent that they had a lot of experience. It was a very good experience overall and I will work with F&M again.

The FM Tree service manager, Fidel, was very responsive, and his crew seemed to be good, but he should accompany them on every call, since nobody else speaks English, including the supervisor/translator. The supervisor was very unprofessional and made many mistakes, and I had to check with Fidel (by cell phone) during the work, and he had to be called again afterwards, since every job was left unfinished or just done wrong without him. I would use them again only because they are inexpensive and come quickly and Fidel works with me until it is done right. But he would save himself a lot of trouble if he would always be with the crew as they work, instead of sending his supervisor, who gets everything wrong and doesn't seem to care or even know what I'm talking about. On the other hand, because there was no written estimate or contract, I was able to add things as we went along.

I called FM Tree Service on monday morning and they sent someone to make an estimate on the same day. They said they could do the work the next day (and they did). The price was excellent ($500 to cut down the tree and haul away plus $600 to clear out a heavily covered area on a steep slope behind the house). In fact, I was so flabbergasted by the low price to cut down the dead tree that I did not bargain on the price to clear the area (I think I could have easily gotten it for $500 instead of $600) but I was so pleased that they could do the work reasonably and immediately that I did not bother. I still think I got an overall excellent deal. They arrived early to begin work and finished up early but completely, clearing away all the debris and cleaning up after themselves. I COULD NOT BE MORE SATISFIED.

I went with FM Tree Service because they were the least expensive of three estimates I got (all from companies rated well on Angie's List). They showed up within hours of my request for an estimate, and came less than a week after I hired them to do the work. They said I didn't need to sign a contract, that they trusted their customers. That's nice, but I would have preferred to have the legal protection of the contract. What I liked less was that they left muddy tracks all over the sidewalk (including on my neighbor's walkway) and a giant oil stain on my sidewalk, which took some time for me to clean. It didn't seem like they tried to clean up after themselves at all. The invoice they left was for more than my estimate, but that was resolved with a phone call (they stuck with the estimate). Also, I discovered that they left a large root behind, so I called them to come back several days later to finish the job. There are enough other companies rated well on this list that I would not use these guys again, though I'm sure there are worse places out there. I'm just not a fan of having to ask someone to come back and finish a job that should have been done right the first time.

They initially did not show up on time. They were supposed to come in the morning on the day of the job. I called the manager who apologized and gave me a new afternoon time and they did show up promptly at the new time. They made quick work of the tree and did an excellent job. The tree was well pruned.

On Wednesday I contacted FM Tree Service by phone and they came out and gave me an estimate the same day. The actual removal would be within 2 days. On Friday the crew arrived to chop down the tree. It took less than an hour and they removed all the limbs and debris. It was a tight fit with the tree being right next to two large privacy fences but nothing was hit or damaged. A few hours later the stump grinder arrived and he was finished within 30 minutes. The crew was professional and quick - no nonsense. They knew their job and didn't waste any time. Great guys.

This was the first time I had used their services. They were well ranked on the List, so I called them and within 20 minutes; someone came out to give me an estimate and said they could have someone out the next day at eight a.m. They showed up at 8 o'clock the next day and were finished by nine.

The work was great. The tree was about 40 feet tall. They had it done the next day and cleaned up very well. I highly recommend them to anyone.
