Description of Work: Diagnosed the reason for the partial loss of electric power and replaced a breaker switch.The technician worked quickly and was able to determine the cause of the outage despite the fact that the electricity had come on everywhere it had been out but one bathroom.

Description of Work: A portion of my house had no electricity. I checked the circuit breakers to no avail but did notice a burning smell, very disconcerting. Absolute Electric was at my house within a couple hours (late Friday afternoon I might add), troubleshot the problem, replaced the faulty breaker and all was good. I was very pleased with the quick response and relative painless solution.

Description of Work: Install a attic fan. The electrician showed up on time, told me what he was going to do. When he was done, he showed me the operation of the attic fan. Overall I was very pleased with the work performed.

Description of Work: They were wonderful! The electrician was prompt and professional and knowledgeable. He installed a ceiling fan, installed an outlet, removed an outlet, and installed a surge protector on our electrical panel. What we liked most was that he explained what we needed and what could work. He didn't try to sell us more than what we needed. We will be asking them back to do additional electrical work!

Description of Work: We had 2 issues, which we thought were connected, but it turns out they were not. The electrician confirmed that the microwave needs replacing. He also determined the cause of the other issue was a GFI outlet that needed reset. (The outlet was behind a large piece of furniture and we did not even know it was there.)

Description of Work: I used absolute electric to help repair an outlet that was popping out of the wall. The electrician quickly solved the problem, and since I had already paid for an hour of his time (but used far less), I asked him to help investigate why some of the switches weren't working in our bedrooms that turn various outlets on and off. He solved the problem in one bedroom, and began an investigation in the others, but didn't finish because the hour was up and we didn't really need them fixed (and so we decided not to pay for additional time).

Description of Work: I cannot say enough about the service I received from Absolute Electric. I had lost power in my garage and needed it fixed quickly. I called Absolute after hours and reached the company owner. He noted that an emergency service call would be expensive so he advised me on some interim actions I could take and offered to come at 6:00 a.m. the next morning. He had an otherwise full schedule, but made this early call to accommodate me. He was here on time and systematically checked the electrical system and found the problem, a wall outlet where a wire had disconnected. He replaced the outlet and provided a thorough explanation of what he'd done. This was one of the greatest home service experiences I've ever had and Absolute will be the first place I call with future electrical needs.

Description of Work: Tim was a very speedy trouble shooter, with good teaching skills. The reason for his visit was a plug / fixture that was very unreliable, often not working, having been repaired a number of times. The attached light fixture had been replaced 3 times. Turns out the curcuit breaker has a special switch for electrical areas exposed to water. He explained the functioning of the GFI breaker and how I should use it. He also explained how to protect some of the outlets that are overly exposed to water influences. Since we hadn't used up the hour for this resolution / trouble-shooting issue, we discussed an outside plug I'd been wanting. Tim quickly moved to put in the outside plug and also tighten up another kitchen outlet that was very loose. Finally, Tim also described the surge protector for the house, since some of the onging issues with the irregular power flow might result from some random power surges. Now that I understand the functioning of the outlets exposed to potential water damage, I can keep an eye on these and note when the power seems to be interrupted. Then any additional power flow problems can be assessed further. Thank you, Tim!!
