Matt did a fantastic job. Very precise and experienced. No wasted time or motion. He fixed the problem and really cleaned up a shoddy wiring job done by another company in the past.

Tim, was excellent. He was punctual. He was competitive and honest.

Overall the experience was good ... arguably expectation management is a factor. The quality of the work performed was EXCELLENT as far as what was installed... Absolute only uses Square D panels and circuits and they are considered top of the line. The conduit to the deck and shed were done with no issues and all looks good. We had a slight misunderstanding on the power requirements to the deck, and in the end part of the problem was that I waited until the last minute on hiring them, and Absolute bent over backwards to quickly install and get the permits for the work so that it would not interfere with the other work I was having completed. So I'll call that one my fault. The second issue was a constantly tripping circuit that started happening after the install. Absolute replaced the circuit and then noted the wrong circuit was in there on the old panel (20 vice 15, a hazard for the wiring being used), and that was the reason for the tripping circuit. However the line kept tripping... Absolute offered to come out again to check it, but after the weekend. However, my wife didn't want to wait, so I called a different electrician on Friday who went into the attic on Saturday and trouble shot the circuit, and in the end solved the problem rather quickly by isolating a ceiling vent fan and switch in the bathroom on its own circuit. So far no more tripping switches. Overall, I'm happy with the work completed, and the price (as I was told repeatedly "you got a great price on this work"). I will agree the price was good, the materials used were top notch. The county inspection went flawlessly, and absolute pulled the permits, so it went effortlessly. The work being done quickly running the conduit was excellent and appreciated by my other contractors (Diversified Contractors and Ace Deck & Fence) who were laying pavers for a patio, and building the deck. My only thought is that the repeatedly popping circuit wasn't aggressively resolved and it took a different electrician on a Saturday to locate the problem and resolve it. Bottomline, I'd definitely recommend getting a quote from Absolute, and factor in their high quality when making your choice, I don't think you can go wrong with Absolute, but recognize they are very focused on the task, and are very busy so as mentioned "expectation management" is required.

Not sure what had happened to the first technician that was supposed to arrive (I can only hope he was ok), they sent Tim here instead who was very professional, explained what he was going to do, and installed my outlet in a very timeley manner. There was no mess, and everything worked out great! Absolute was very apologetic for what had happened, and ensured my satisfaction for this small project... things do happen! I had mentioned some other upcoming projects to Tim, and will surely get them again. Of course, I will specifically ask for Tim. Thanks Tim!

From beginning to end, I had a great experience. Shawn was very patient and took the time to understand the situation and give an expert recommendation an approximate pricing. His tech arrived as scheduled, repaired the issues quickly and professionally and called me afterward to go over the work completed. Overall a great experience and would use these guys again!

It was under $200 but I was very happy with them because it was a very last minute power outage, right after we moved in here. My husband tried figuring it out, went up and down on all the outlets, checked downstairs and couldn't figure it out so we called them. It was a three-day weekend, it was a holiday weekend and the guy came out on a Saturday morning, took the time, and found it. He didn’t charge us the normal rate for coming out. He fixed it and we were thrilled. They were super reasonable. We would have probably had to pay more but they were reasonable and fixed it. We are definitely going to use them again. The quality of work is good. We set a call out to the answering machine and he called us back within ten minutes. He came right over. His professionalism was very good.

We were scheduled for the 7am-9am block. I asked that they call a few minutes prior to arrival as we have a dog that must be crated. They called at 6:45 per our request and arrived promptly at 7am. The two electricians were very polite and personable. They identified loose wiring behind a lightswitch which caused the outage. It only took an hour to lcoate and fix the problem and they put things back exactly as they found them. They worked quickly and they charged us the discount rate of $117/first hour for Angie's List members. I will definitely use them again!

Great experience from start to finish. Called to set up appointment and my call was returned quickly and professionally. The appointment was set up for 2 days later. I received a call the day of the work to let me know when he'd be arriving. The problem he was trying to fix was found quickly and he had the light working in about 15 minutes. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for professional, honest electrical work!

On my initial call, he asked specific questions. The repairmen arrived with a light switch and the tools to repair the basement light. He advised us to get new fluorescent that would fit the new light fixture in the basement.

Shauwn was terrific. He arrived within the window of time he had promised, he diagnosed the problem and fixed it fairly quickly, Even though it was a Saturday, he gave me the advertised "Angie's discount" - and this was off their regular hourly rate, not the double rate that usually applies on Saturdays. I will call this company again.

Shauwn came to the house a few days before to do the estimate and he was very nice and friendly and explained my options to me clearly. Their pricing was very competitive and they received good marks on Angie's list so I decided to go with them. I'm glad I did. They did an excellent job. The day of the actual job, the guys showed up and went immediately to work. They started with the electrical panel which took up most of the day so they had to return another day to finish the other projects. They cleaned up after each time and were very respectful. The older guy used shoe covers (or whatever they call it) to keep from tracking any dirt into the house which I appreciated very much - I wish the younger one did the same though. Then Shauwn followed up a few days later to schedule the county inspection which went off without a hitch. Then a few days after that, the handyman who was installing a door to cover up the open area around the new electrical panel noticed there were sparks whenever he hammered onto the wall. So I called Shauwn and he came himself to check it out. It turns out it was from this outlet (loose wiring) near the panel that his guys didn't touch at all and had nothing to do with the panel. Shauwn fixed it anyway and he didn't charge me for it. That's what I call service!

The electrician arrived on time, performed the work and cleaned up the drywall dust in the basement and kitchen.

Excellent Service! Our technician, John, arrived on time and worked carefully and efficiently until the work was completed. After the job was complete, he cleaned up after himself, leaving each room in the condition that he found it. He did a fantastic job with each of the fans. It is so nice to find a good, reputable company with employees who take pride in being professional and a job well done. Absolute Electric LLC is a dream company come to life. These guys are fantastic. They arrive on time, work all day, cleanup after themselves and do a fantastic job. We had a (multiple) wall switch in our family room which was flickering/shorting. My husband bought a replacement switch and attempted to fix it himself, but when he took the wall plate off he found an unexpected additional uncapped wire. He is not an electrician, so he decided we should call a professional. We checked Angie's List for recommendations. The first company we contacted could not send a technician for several days. My husband called Absolute Electric, but received no answer and decided not to leave a message -- he would continue calling other electricians. A short time later we received a return call from Shauwn Collins of Absolute Electric (even though we had not left a message)! He was able to send Rick Johnson the same afternoon to fix the problem. Apparently our builder's electrician had tried to force a "hot" wire into a hole too small. Anyway, we were very pleased with Rick, Absolute, and Shauwn -- and will definitely call them again. Our price included a 10% discount for being Angie's List customers.

After talking with Shawn who is the owner of Absolute and telling him it was my day off from work he right away said he could come himself to troubleshoot my problem. He was here within an hour as promised and discovered right away what my problem was. He had the part I needed, fixed it and was done in about 20 minutes. Very professional and courteous. I definitely would hire Absolute Electric in the future.

Excellent service. The crew was informed, knowledgable, professional, and prompt. All work exceeded expectations and they did an amazing job with a quite a few challenging wiring projects. I will definitely work with them again in the future and recommend them highly.

Actually had Shawn, the owner of the company, come out to do an estimate. Needed the service done quickly so Shawn actually went ahead and did the work himself on the spot. Shawn was very friendly and professional and did a great job. He even stopped by later in the day to address a concern I had which turned out to be a non-issue. They are very responsive, show great initiative and some of the best customer service I have seen from an electrician in this area. I have found many highly rated companies on Angies List to be unresponsive as if they don't want your business... this is definitely not one of those companies. I would highly recommend this company and this will be the only electrician I call in the future.

Called Shaun on a Monday to schedule a time to come out and move two switches and an outlet box up 10 inches to make room for some subway tile. He was able to fit me in first thing Wednesday morning. The technician arrived early and was able to finish the job very quickly and with minimal damage to the drywall. He cleaned up after himself and was very professional. I've used absolute in the past and have always been pleased with work done and the price!

Shaun was very prompt in answering my initial email and then quickly returned my follow up phone call. He came out, was very personable, assessed our needs, and was very honest in providing feedback on our electrical issues in our basement. We decided we didn't want to address the electrical issues in the basement at this time. After we agreed on a price, his employees showed up about a week later and installed the recessed lighting, came back another day to upgrade the electrical box, and then came back to add surge protector for house and install outlet for freezer. Everything is working great and we will definitely use Absolute Electric again.

I knew it should be a simple job, but didn't have time to do it myself. I called Absolute on Monday and they were able to have someone there on Wed morning. Actually, the timeframe was scheduled between 7-8am. My initial thought was that will never happen, but the electrician was there promptly at 7am. Work was great, they had the new circuit breaker for my very old panel, and was completed in 1.5 hours. The price was about 25% above what I expected, but the labor went over what they thought. Overall, very pleased with Absolute. Looking to them for another, bigger job I have.
