Service was great and done quickly.

They were professional. They came out and gave me the price because I needed to change the service entry wire into the new house that I bought. They gave me a full accounting of what they were going to do and how long it's going to take. They did perform the job. The only one thing I didn't like was they kind of left something in the side of the house in a little bit of disarray but it was easily cleaned up. I wanted them to use concrete and not putty to close up gaps that they had to close up when they run wires out of the house. I think that their prices are competitive. They're not the cheapest and they're not the most expensive. Shaun is very good. He's either the manager or the owner.

He was very good. The roofing manager said he was really impressed with what the electrician had done because he labeled everything. The roofing manager said other electricians don't do that. I had no problem with him being there at the right time. He was a smart young man and did what one could expect.

Juan and Tim were punctual, courteous, professional and very nice to work with. They arrived on time, worked diligently and finished in the time previously discussed. They encountered some issues with the ceiling fan and chandelier but we're able to work through them by thinking creatively. The final amount was exactly what was estimated beforehand (with the addition of some materials provided by Absolute Electric). Overall, they did a wonderful job and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Excellent. Tim Berkley was the electrician and he was diligent, courteous, and thorough. He took the time to carefully explain everything and patiently answered all of my questions. He came to the house twice and arrived right on time on both occasions. Making the appointments was quick and easy. The office personnel were very helpful..

I've purposely waited to do this review as I knew it would take me a while and I wanted to make sure I had all my facts straight. Overall, best I can tell the work was excellent and the company was able to come out when I really needed them to prior to Christmas where 2 other electricians were scheduled out) and as a result, I had a working range to use to make Christmas dinner, getting there was a bit of a rough start. I called Absolute based on Angie's List reviews, the man on the phone was extremely nice and accommodating but he didn't listen well (he wanted to talk to me and I couldn't get a word in edgewise a few times so honesly, I was calling from work, I was busy too, and I just gave up - I tried to tell him the whole scope of work as I knew what it was from an estimate from another electrician, but he sort of talked over me and I think this led to our second situation). We set up an appointment for Saturday, Dec 20th for them to come out. Later in the week I got a call from a lady and she asked if we could do it on Friday instead of Saturday, I said sure - (the sooner the better at this point - we'd been without a working kitchen for about a month & they were delivering the new appliances on Saturday anyway). On Friday, Dec 19th Juan and 2 helpers arrived (Tim and Joe). Right from the start Juan was not very nice. He came into my house - my husband met them at the door and when I told him about needing the plug for the stove, he belittled me as I didn't know "where that was on the range" - said I should know this information and I should have looked at the back of the range when I bought it - I'd ordered the range online and therefore, I did not see it in person so I don't know how I would know this. I was able to go online and get the installation information from the Sears website and they could tell from that just fine where the plug was located. My husband had met them at the door coming in and Juan had already had quite an attitude with my husband but I wasn't there and don't know what was said. He also tore open some under cabinet lighting we'd bought and then proceeded to tell us it couldn't be used - at that point, I told him he didn't have to do the undercabinet lighting (I figured we'd call our usual electrician for that later on as they are always nice and that wasn't needed that day.) When he was nasty with me, my husband was ready to throw them out of our house, but I was desperate to get the work done and he knew it, so we continued and my husband held his tongue. Juan then told me I had to talk to the office (and I wasn't sure why - sorta felt like a kid in school who's hands got slapped and didn't know why) so I got on the phone to them - same very nice guy that talks alot and doesn't like to listen, I was going to be late to work when I got on the phone and he wouldn't cut to the chase. Bottom line was, we needed a permit for this amount of work, they said they could get one, it would cost an extra $250 and I told him to do it. The installation started and Juan calmed down a bit after that - I think that he was upset as it was a larger job than he'd anticipated and they were supposed to do other jobs that day (which honestly, he could have just said this and we would have totally understood.) They were at my home all day until about 5PM working and completed everything we needed. My husband told me Juan was very meticulous with the job, going behind the 2 apprentices constantly and make sure they did everything correctly with a hawk eye. Like I said, they did an excellent job and when the inspector came out, Absolute came back out too (this was not Juan - and I don't know what his name was - he was very nice - though my husband said he questioned the inspector AFTER he said it was ok and the job looked good). The inspection on Jan 16th and went without a hitch, the inspector said it looked like an excellent job too. I spoke to Sharon in the office and she was very nice to deal with too (she has goodl listening skills, lol). Overall, I'm extremely happy with their work - bottom line - Juan needs to work on his "people" skills and the man on the phone needs to work on his "listening" skills - I would use them again though and I am very grateful they got our job done for us despite the bumps in the road - which had absolutely NOTHING to do with the quality of their work - the cost was very fair too - I had an estimate from the other electricians and with eveything, they still came in under that estimate by about $300 though that did include the undercabinet lighting in it so it may have been a push.

Juan Merida was the electrician that did the work. He was very professional, polite, and cleaned up before he left. The kitchen light was installed much better than I could ever do. He made sure it was perfectly aligned, and I love the new kitchen light! The new circuit was also installed, and the drywall cut outs were minimal. He cut them out in a perfect square, and it should be fairly easy for me to patch and then paint. I need to paint anyway, so that was not a big deal. I could not have asked for better service. The price was fair, and I felt I got what I paid for. The only thing that wasn't as originally expected is that I was told I'd be the first appointment of the morning, but it turned out I was the second. It wasn't a big deal, though. Juan asked if I wanted him to call the office about it, and I said no. I've had bad experiences before where people never show up at all and was glad that wasn't my experience. All in all, I was extremely please and I would use them again if I need to in the future. I've already told friends that I found a good electrical contractor if they ever need one.

There were no issues with the install. Due to existance of existing (non-working) fan, work involved removal of old fan, modification of existing mounting hole in roof, adjustment to existing wiring and new fan installation. All work handled promptly and professionally. Fan worked great through the remainder of the summer which is great as our roof has direct summer sun exposure. Looking for continued return on investment next summer and on.

Sent exploratory message on a Sunday - boss responded, inquired in detail what I needed and made excellent observations and recommendations. Electrician showed up on time, analyzed work to be done and set about it quickly. Also modified my bathroom fan bracket for new motor - thus saving me much additional expense/repair work. From initial contact, through intelligent analysis and superior work ... this is the electrical company for me!

I called early on New Year's Eve to see if we could get someone out to help. Due to a do-it-yourself gone wrong, we not only didn't have the light we were trying to install working, but the main kitchen lights were out, and we had a party planned. The team from Absolute came out that afternoon (they squeezed us in, luckily) and fixed the original issue, plus a few others. They were punctual, polite and helpful.

Professional and knowledgeable

I'll break this down into two segments: 1) Pre-Service: Scheduling the appointment was rather easy. I received a call the day before service giving my my window, and then on the day of service I got a call ~30 minutes before the tech arrived. 2) Service: Tim, the technician assigned, was methodical and professional in troubleshooting the issue with my circuit. He was able to pin it down to the post lamp at I have outside. Total time of all the work was less than an hour. Throughout the process he expained what he had found and what he needed to do. Overall a very good experience and I would use them again

Luckily, our problem was easily fixed. However, Tim took the time to answer all my questions, educating me in the process. He was very thorough in checking to ensure that all issues had been resolved. I inquired about updating our circuit panel. Tim answered all of my questions, providing specific detail re the process, timeline and cost. We will definitely use Absolute Electric again and would recommend them to others.

I spoke with several providers before settling on Absolute. Most were eliminated based on the initial interaction, either by phone or email, just because I got the impression my questions or business was not that important. Their customer service was extremely patient, and even spoke to my father to answer his questions. They also had the most reasonable price, were on time, and cleaned up afterword. The fan I got has worked fantastically. Better than I could have imagined.

It did go very well. They are professionals, give all explanations necessary, and very open to discussions.

The electricians arrived on time, evaluated the situation, and got to work. They were knowledgeable and proficient. We have more extensive remodeling to conduct in our home and will use Absolute Electric again. Thanks for the good work!

Jason just came to my home and repaired the wiring for the post lantern in my front yard. He was on-time, courteous and most of all professional. The work was done efficiently and expertly. He was very helpful and answered several additional questions I had about unrelated issues. Hire this company. It is clear why they have so many good reviews. They deserve it.

Absolute Electric is fantastic. They came highly recommended by my mother, and after seeing the Angie's List reviews, we ended up just asking them for a quote and not shopping around. Everyone that we have met or spoken to from the company is extremely professional! Spending a bunch of money on electrical work is not something we had expected just before the holidays, but they made it a very pleasant experience and we felt great about taking care of some issues plaguing our 1978 home (with a maxed out panel and some other questionable work done by the builder or previous homeowner). We felt very much like we were being taken care of by everyone, especially Rob who did the bulk of the work. Rob is truly a fantastic electrician and person! My husband and I both could not stop talking about how knowledgeable, professional, and generally pleasant he was to work with. The electrical in our home is safe and well done and we feel great about it! We would absolutely recommend Absolute Electric to anyone and we will only use them from now on. They are worth every penny and definitely set the bar for service.

Robert, from Absolute Electric, was at our house for about two days, completing a slew of different tasks. He was super nice and very professional the entire time he was here. We have used Absolute in the past and am very happy that we used this time around for such a large job.

He provided me with an estimate and cost of parts, and told me that I could help him so he could charge me less. I cut out access panels in the drywall so he could work quicker and not charge me for busy work. This likely saved me more than $100 in costs.

Absolute Electric, LLC We used Angie?s List to get bids from 3 companies. Only 2 companies visited our house to give us an estimate for the work. The third company asked for photos and gave a partial estimate over the phone. We selected Absolute Electric and scheduled the work to be done on October 10, 2014. Absolute Electric?s employee, Juan, arrived on schedule and within a few short minutes, proceeded to start the work. We had 3 major parts for him to accomplish: install a new receptacle on a dining room wall where no receptacle existed, remove and replace 4 fluorescent light fixtures in the basement and remove and install a new low voltage landscape light system in the front of our home. We give Juan 4 high A?s in Punctuality, Politeness, Professionalism and Price. We are totally satisfied with the work done and would not hesitate to call Absolute Electric again.

Tim did a great job, he showed up on time, explained to me what he was going to do and what he thought the problem was with my outlets not working. After trouble shooting he found the issues and provided a fix, he also made some recommendations with some other outlets in the house so I would not have a another issue. Even though they charge by time, Tim worked quick to resolve the issues, show me what he did, and then when he handed me the bill it was very reasonable. A great experience with Absolute Electric and a great job by Tim. Thanks for a job well done.

The electrician needed to access the electric lines inside the wall. They did an outstanding job removing wallboard in such a way that the wall could be easily repaired. Since I am a DIY lady they were happy to show me how to make the repairs myself. They could not have been nicer and more helpful to me. I felt like I was a family member I got such excellent service.

I was worried that this would cost a lot of money, but Tim knew exactly how to fix the problem, and he fixed it quickly and efficiently.He was courteous and professional, and the only snag was when my dog grabbed his shoe cover and hid it under a bed. I couldn't be happier with their service, responsiveness, price, etc. We will definitely use Absolute for any future electrical problems we have.
