We're getting our house ready to go on the market and decided at the last minute to switch out a light fixture, but we didn't have time to take care of it ourselves. They happened to have an opening in the timeframe we needed. They were friendly and professional from the start -- from scheduling the appointment to doing the electric work. And they did a great job. I recommend!

I sent them a msg saying my disposal stopped working and I also needed a wall receptacle fixed. They said - Call the office first, maybe we can help you on the telephone. I did and they did! With their advice, I activated the disposal with the reset button and the wall receptacle with the wall switch (stupid me). But Absolute Electric is the company for me. These guys are great!

Absolute Electric was an absolute wonderful company to work with. From the schedulers to our technician, Rob, everyone was friendly, helpful, and willing to answer questions. This is the second time we've hired Absolute to do work for us, and each time the techs go above and beyond to make sure the job is done right and help us plan out future work on our 75-year old house. I would recommend Absolute to other homeowners.

The company and my service technician John Mekuto were outstanding! The company was remarkably responsive--fitting me in when I just called this morning, calling to let me know the service technician was on his way, and following up immediately afterwards to ensure my electrical requiremens had been met and that the service was as I had hoped. John was professional, knowledgable, expert, and not only answered my questions about the work being done but also provided information that I would have not thought to ask about. He showed me what happened with the dead short and told me why it happened. John clearly takes pride in his work and doing it right, which I greatly admired and appreciated. I could not be more pleased with the work, my service technician, and the overall experience. Everyone I talked with from the company was fabulous--Mike and Sharon and John. I would highly recommend Absolute Electric and John! In fact, I have a list of items for the next visit already started, he was that good.

I bought one of their angieslist deal (it wasn't good deal after all, $120 for 5" recessed and $130 each for 6'' light. the light bulb are not LEDs ) for installation of 4 recessed lights. They came in three times. The first time, they sent two guys. It took them almost 5 hours to install 4 recessed lights in my living room. The deal doesn't include dimmer, i bought two dimmers. I was planning to install another 4 sets in Kitchen. They installed one dimmer and took the other one with them. The second time, they sent another technician Rob alone to install 4 recessed lights in my kitchen and add another one to my laundry room. He was quick, but he didn't put any of the holes he cut back to the ceiling. He also charged me extra $100 for changing the 2 light switch hole to three light switch hole. I have to run to homedepot to get a new dimmer they took away the first time, I wasn't happy about that although they are going to minus the cost of the dimmer from the total for that days work. The third time, Rob came with another apprentice to install 9 recessed lights. I trusted them and left for work after they marked down the position of the recessed lights. My basement is half finished, they can measure the hollow area from the unfinished area. But they cut two wrong holes with one almost cut a hole in my existing duct pipe. They charged me another $100 for two cheap dimmer which i don't like at all. One of the light keeps blinking when i dim it. The other dimmer control only two lights (not dimmable) which they had never tested it. I wasn't happy and I have to call again and i want the two dimmer removed. They send the same technician Rob come back for the third time. He removed the two dimmer and installed one i provided, replaced one of the light bulb i bought LED one.

This company diagnosed the potential problem (weak main breaker to condo) AND suggested that it might be handled by our HOA. That kind of honesty and responsiveness is priceless. I made the request on Sunday and received a follow-up call Monday morning. After contacting my HOA, they confirmed it was the HOA's responsibility, they fixed the problem today, barely 24 hours after I spoke with AbsoluteElectric. I am sure I will be using their services in the future and was incredibly impressed.

When I made my initial contact with AE, I explained that all the bathroom GFIs stopped working after an Dominion Power problem on our house. Chris and his partner David found the faulty GFI and replaced it. After they were finished Chris showed me the surge protector and quoted me a price. At first I said no. He did not pressure me or try to scare me into the purchase in any way. After thinking about it I decided to go ahead with the purchase as we tend to loose power frequently. When I mentioned to Chris I would go ahead and purchase it now rather than pay for another service call he said the price would be the same and not to let that influence my decision. He and David were professional, neat and straightforward. No scare tactics, no pressure. I will definitely use them again and will recommend them to my friends.

My wife said the technician was extremely professional. Came on time and installed the light with no hassle.

The technician came out on time and was very informative. He did a great job installing the fan and cleaning up the area. He was very polite and answered all of my questions.

The work was performed on time and came in exactly at the estimated cost. I received excellent communication from them before and throughout the process. The work was done correctly and passed county inspection. I would definitely use Absolute Electric again.

I was able to schedule an appointment quickly, and all staff were polite and professional. The office staff explained the rates for services to me and estimated the amount of time the service would need. The office confirmed the appointment the day before, giving me a 2-hour window for the arrival time. On the day of the appointment, the technician called ahead, as I was told he would, and gave me his estimated arrival time, which was as expected. He arrived on time and wore shoe protectors in the house. He completed the work within the amount of time originally estimated and demonstrated the proper functioning of all of the outlets replaced. The fee includes both labor and parts.

I scheduled the call in the time period 11am to 1pm. Tim called to ask if he could come a little early. I said fine, and he arrived about 10:45am. Since Absolute Electric did not install the system (many years old) Tim had to figure out wiring, power source, etc. The answer turned out to be simple--but took a smart person to figure out. There is a reset button on the outside receptacle--and I had been advised by others to push it, which I did--to no avail. Tim figured out that there was no power in the receptacle during the day when the lights were off. For it to work, I had to push the reset button at night, when the power was on. Problem solved!

We realized that our old attic fan had stopped working (contributing to a mold problem - ugh!!!). We were really anxious to get a new fan put in ASAP. We called three electric companies, all ranked well on Angie's List. Talked to someone at one company and left a message at another, but neither ever called us back to arrange service! Absolute Electric, however, was immediately responsive. They sent an electrician to our house the next morning. He was on time and professional. They gave us an Angie's List deal for about $475 or so to replace an attic fan. It was all done quickly. Best of all, the symptoms that most of our family was displaying from exposure to mold in the attic (due to a roof leak, exacerbated by constant rain and the previously broken fan) quickly improved (though didn't disappear) once the fan was installed. We still had to fix the roof, of course, and will have the mold treated, but it was a huge relief to have the fan installed so quickly and efficiently.

When I called to schedule the service, the representative was very polite and courteous. He took all my information and was up front about all charges. He recapped everything we wanted done (lots of odds/ends), and confirmed the date and time (window). The technician was punctual (he came early!) and very polite. He completed the work quickly and did a great job. He gave us some insight into why we were having some problems with our recessed lights burning out, and gave us an estimate for new kitchen lighting. We would absolutely use this company again!

They got it all done quickly and did not mind my annoying barking dog.

The technician, Mark, installed an attic fan for us. He was on time and completed the work quickly. He was very professional and took the time to answer any questions and go over all work done. Great company and will definitely use them in the future for any electrical needs!

Dispatch was helpful when we called in both providing pricing and getting someone scheduled. Rob called and arrived on time on the morning scheduled. He replaced an outlet for us quickly and then figured out the attic fan problem. We were prepared to replace the attic fan, per a home inspection. Rob was honest to tell us the switch was just backwards and it in fact was just off, even though it appeared to be on. Silly we had to have a tech out for this find, but at least he was honest and didn't just replace the fan. Rob was knowledgable that the switch should technically be in sight of the fan, so he quickly moved it to appropriate spot and covered the original switch hole. Rob was on time, friendly, quick, efficient and left no mess. And in comparison shopping they were priced well as well. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Juan arrived on time and diagnosed the problem with the kitchen light fixture within a few minutes. He replaced the faulty switch with a new one. He was done in about 20 minutes. The fee was reasonable. I will certainly use Absolute Electric in the future.

Jon called me and arrived in the window and checked my circuit breaker. He had all the equipment necessary to diagnose the problem. He pinpointed the issue and replaced a corroded receptacle that was affecting the electricity. In doing so, the technician also walked me through the problem and how it can be avoided. He gave great advice and information. This is my second time with this company.

I am so impressed! First, Darlene stepped me through a checklist of things I should do before having a technician sent out including testing breakers and calling the power company. She explained that it could be a power problem which might be fixed for free. When the power company determined that the problem was in the house, I called Absolute and they sent out Jason who fixed our problem quickly. He (and Ryan, his helper) were professional and explained what they were doing - I had a ton of questions. I am so pleased and relieved. Thank you.

I was more than satisfied with the price and the service. It exceeded my expectations. My electrician Mike C. was friendly and knowledgeable. He explained everything to me that he was checking and doing along the way. I felt that he was doing the work that I truly needed. He repaired when it made sense and replaced when it did not. His work was fast and efficient. Based on this experience their Angie rating is justified. I would highly recommend Absolute and would use them again. In fact I am. I have contracted with Absolute for a whole house surge protector and have specifically requested that Mike do the service.

They did an excellent job. Worked very quickly and efficiently to install an outdoor outlet as well as two new outlets in the garage.
