As always hiring Absolute Electric is the best choice. The technicial (Lucas) arrived on time, performed the task perfectly, cleaned up his mess and was gone in less than an hour. I have hired Absolute Electric several times and every time is an absolute joy. They do exactly what they say they are going to and and the work is done correctly the first time. If I ever need any electrical work again Absolute Electric is the company I am going to hire.

I bought a deal through Angie's List. I am impressed with at the communication skills of all representatives of this company. They coordinated with a tenant and completed the installation in a professional manner. Zero problems. Best of all, they obtained a Fairfax Count permit and followed through to obtain an approval. In my experience dealing with contractors, this company is in the top one percent!

The electrician was absolutely terrific. He placed the lights in the best place for the family room - which is downstairs. I had nightmares of the ceiling work that would have to be done after the lights were installed and wiring installed. He got the lights in and made only one incision in the ceiling. He actually put the dry wall back up and fastened it to the wood. I have very little work to do with the ceiling. He had covered everything up before starting his work and vacuumed the entire family room before leaving. I highly recommend this company.

I had one of those nightmare situations where the panel in the home i just bought was installed horribly and was a fire hazard due to the fact there was a recall on the panel that was in when i bought my house and there were unmistakable signs of overheating. After several equally nightmarish experiences with other electrical companies I landed across the deal absolute had on Angie's list. They were great from the start, super responsive, very punctual, clean, and made sure i was informed. I had to have extra work done beyond the deal due to the poor install of my previous panel, they went really out of their way to tell me my options and to minimize the cost to me. (I was double checking with my out of town electrician brother-in-law, he was really impressed too) I can't recommend these guys highly enough!

Overall things went very well. The appointment was set up quickly, and the communication from the company and the technician on the day of the service was excellent. The technician was able to diagnose all of the issues, and all but one was repaired during his visit. The issue that wasn't repaired will be fairly involved so it's repair will be scheduled separately. He explained everything he was doing, how he figured out the issues, and was professional and friendly. The materials costs for the repaired items (not significant in relation to the job overall) were a little higher than I thought they would be, but I suspect that is not specific to this company, but a general trend with the industry.

Arrived on time. Had all the right parts. Worked quickly and efficiently. Was very professional and ensured the invoice addressed each deficiency identified on the Buyer's Home Inspection. Lucas (electrician) was quite knowledgeable about his trade and I would request him for any future work.

I've actually used them morn than once, and they have always been terrific. Electricians are not cheap, but these guys are trustworthy.

Carl and Lucas were the electricians who did our work. They showed up on time, were professional, explained what they were doing, wore shoe coverings while inside the house, and cleaned the debris afterwards. The new ceiling fans have worked fine and we have not had any issues since.

Tim provided excellent service. He was efficient and professional. He provided useful information about our range and suggested some creative solutions regarding a future project we are considering that involves outdoor lighting.

At 730 a.m. I called Absolute and talked with Shauwn, the owner, about the lack of power from any of our outdoor plug points. Bad news on the day the painter was planning to replace some of the cedar siding on our house and needed electricity outside. I explained the situation to Shauwn and told him I'd check the circuit breaker, nothing was tripped. Rather than send somebody out and charge the minimum $117/hr for a visit, having ascertained that our circuit box was 25 years old, he asked me to check the mini-breakers in all of our bathrooms. Sure enough, the mini-breaker in our upstairs bathroom -- go figure -- had been tripped. Once reset, power was restored. Next time I need an electrician, you know who I'm calling.

Absolute Electric is absolutely the best! From day one when the owner, Shauwn Collins, came out to do the proposal for the work until the work was completed the professionalism, friendliness and customer support was exemplary. Shauwn spent close to 40 minutes talking with me, answering my questions and going over the details of the propsal. Our house is very old (built in the 1860s) and the existing electrical panel was close to 40 years old with a lot of jerryrigging during that ttime. Shauwn added $500 to the estimate because of the age of the house. NOTE: Even with this charge the proposal was no more expensive than other competent proposals. As you will see below, he probably wishes he charged more for the "old house" fee. It was estimated that the job would take one day and it ended up taking over a day and a half due to complications with the old wiring, etc. Plus, there needed to be two more visits by the electrician (more on this later). Mike Carretta, the electrician who worked the job was great. My wife and I never got the feeling that things were rushed and we enjoyed talking with him and his assistants. When they placed the ground rods outside, a wire connecting to one of our lamp posts was severed... a totally unlikely event that we didn't discover until we all thought their work was done. We didn't know the cause of the problem until Mike came out again to diagnose the problem and yet again to fix the problem after the power company came and did their required work. At no time did I anyone from Absolute Electric complain that the job was taking so long or in any way try to dodge their responsibility. Ann Sasso ftom the Absolute office was in continual contact with us and followed up on all our questions. She even pursued the power company when they were not prompt in finishing the work that ony they could do. In conclusion, I would say that we have always been pleased with contractors that wre highly rated on Angie's List, but rarely, if ever, have we experienced a contractor business that has provided such competent customer service accross the board. Highly recommended.

The upgrade panel box was a "deal" through Angie's List and came at a time when we were having loss of power to several parts of the house, installation went well, however due to previous work done several years ago, power to the ceiling fans in all the bedrooms did not work. Absolute sent several technicians to troubleshoot problems, some fans were covered under warranty, since they were working prior to the upgrade and adjustments in cost was made. After several visits, the solution was determined and the job completed. I must commend the entire office staff, Sharon who were extremely professional in making appointments, handling phone calls and returning calls when necessary, Mark and his assistant Darren who worked 12-13 hours that day trying to get everything to work properly after installing the upgrade, Cole, who determined what additional parts we needed, Tim, who also was able to restore the outside flood lights after determining that the previous electricians had reversed the live wires and especially Juan, who installed the attic fan, the new bedroom ceiling fans, and who answered numerous questions, was extremely professional and worked diligently to make sure that everything was working properly before leaving. Customer service is certainly a priority with this company, knowledgable, fair in their adjustments, and working not only do the required job but to do it correctly. I was completely comfortable with each and every person that entered my home, they cleaned up everything afterwards and I would not hesitate to use them again, in fact, I will contact them for another project in the next few weeks. At a time when customer service is at an all time low, I can certainly recommend this company not only for their ability to perform their jobs well but also because they're interested in maintaining the integrity of their company and promote customer satisfaction. Absolute was recommended by my home inspector, Scheduling was easy, they arrived promptly at the beginning of the stated arrival window. The work was professionally done, and the ceiling fan part was done for less than deals published on angie's list. The surge protector was the lions share bill. They cleaned up after them selves and were respectful of my property, will certainly use them again.

They did a good job. Obtained the proper permit. Finished in a timely manner.

Everything went great with 4 of the 5 things we needed. One of the jobs was not something he had equipment with him to do. He called his district manager but he was in field. They were not hard to reach and I was able to schedule the work within 2 days at a very reasonable price. They are supposed to call me with an updated price for the final piece of work (FFP or T&M with a rate). I am still waiting but they said it could be early this week.

I needed a ceiling fan replaced, wanted to change a light fixture to a recessed light, and wanted to better understand how much cutting of drywall would be involved if a recessed light was added to the basement where no light fixture currently existed. I chose this provider due to Angie's list reviews. Scheduling was easy - the representative was able to quote pricing and easily schedule my appointment. They were very informative and pleasant. I had even called back to tweak what I wanted done a bit, and they had no problem accomodating the request on the same visit. The electrician, Mark, finished his other job early that morning and asked if he could come now (about 3 hours prior to the start of the estimated arrival window). That ended up not being issue since I was working from home all day anyway. We did a quick walk through to show him where everything was, and he started on the ceiling fan first. That took the longest, but was worth it. It looks great! He then put in the recessed light, asked me what size can I wanted, and put a drop cloth down to make sure to capture the debris. Once he was done, I paid by credit card. I thought the total cost of $280.00 was not bad for 2.5 hours of work. Shortly after Mark left, Absolute Electric called to see how things went to make sure I was satisfied with my service. I told them I was satisfied and will definitely consider them for more work in the future.

This company and contractor is a joke; the person came to my place when I was not there does not even know how to troubleshoot and fix breaker, wrongly connected hot wire to ground and also caused HVAC to go failure. All it is called this company to fix small breaker and caused me HVAC to go failure and wrong wiring connection. They are calling me to pay for 2 hours for diagnosis of the breaker issue which they couldn't find and fix, but I am able to find local small independent licensed electrical contractor who fixed it within an hour. Stay away from this jokers; this company and contractors are not worth time and money.

Scheduling with the office was a breeze. I had a number questions regarding the project and the person on the phone wasn't sure, so they had the service manager call me to discuss and he spent 30 minutes on the phone talking about the project, so I was impressed with their willingness to answer all my questions before the job started. They called to confirm appointment the day before and then the morning of. They arrived on time within the time window given. The guys were courteous and did a great job of making as few cuts as possible to install the new cans. Job took much less time that initially anticipated. The next day I received a follow-up call to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Overall they did a great job.

They were very professional in scheduling the time. Showed up exactly when they said they will and did a great job in installing the fans. Very satisfied with their job and will definitely use them again for other electrical projects.

Punctual and professional. Contacted Absolute about repairing/ replacing my failed attic fan. Given the age of the old fan and the cost of labor, decided the prudent move would be to replace. Person on phone asked if they could check Google Earth to look at my house to determine whether an extra long ladder would be required. It was not. Scheduled the work for one week out; they prefer to do attic fans first thing in the morning for obvious reasons. Got a reminder clal yesteray and the tech called before leaving their shop this morning. Saves possible miscommunication all the way around. Tech (Jason) was right on time, completed the work quickly and stayed to make sure that everything was working. Based on this experience, Absolute will be my go-to vendor for any future electrical work.

This is the second job that I scheduled with Absolute Electric. I got a total of three estimates for the work and while their price was roughly the same as the others, I scheduled them because their estimate was much more detailed. Juan and Ryan were friendly and professional and completed the work on time. They also proactively reduced my final charge because one of the lights wasn't installed, which I had forgotten about.

My husband could tell you more details. Even though I had no knowledge, I was treated with respect and kindness. They cleaned up perfectly after themselves. We had to put our 3 Bassets in the kitchen with a gate while they worked. Even though the Basset Hounds bayed a lot at them, they were cheerful and interacted with the Basset Hounds. The electricians had a calming influence on them.

I contacted Absolute Electric and asked over the phone how much a ceiling fan installation would cost. They said their standard rate is $250 (I used 10% off Angie's List coupon came out to $225 flat) to assemble the fan, cut a hole in the ceiling's dry wall, install a power box in the attic, hook the electrical up to the light switch and install the ceiling fan--they provided all materials except for the fan. Mike called about 45 minutes prior to showing up, which is much appreciated. He was respectful and thorough in his work. He cleaned everything up after the job was complete and showed me all the features the fan had to offer. After Mike left a representative from Absolute Electric followed up with me to inquire how the job went. I plan on using them again to install recessed lighting in my living room.

Every aspect of this project was excellent. The office staff provided the cost during our phone conversation. They were able to schedule the work before Thanksgiving even though I did not call till mid November. The 2 installers were professional, friendly and did not waste any time. The lights were installed to my satisfaction and they answered all my questions. I am very pleased.
