Juan came out to the house and took the time to explain all the options for installing recessed lighting in our basement, and presented himself very confidently. By the time we were done talking with him during his first visit, we knew we wanted him to come back to install these lights. He seemed very knowledgeable, honest, and experienced. Juan came back around a week later and installed the lighting and it was perfect! We highly recommend Absolute Electric, and Juan in particular.

Juan Merida, the service technician who came to do the electrical work at our home was an A class professional, very meticulous and thorough. He arrived on time and called ahead to let us know he was on the way. Once he got to our home he tackled the first major job starting off by reading the literature to anchor our solar attic fan to a back up electric panel. After this part of the job was done he took time to understand how we wanted to replace our old fluorescent lights with the more energy efficient LED light fixtures. Our house is old and the lights did not have proper anchoring fitted in the old fixtures. He explained and showed us the relevance of putting in the anchoring piece. All in all work very well done. We look forward to working with Juan and Absolute again

The first time they were over an hour late. The second time was good but he swore a lot.

The outlet box was old and falling apart so they ended up replacing the box (I saw it myself and totally agree it needed to be changed). The light switch was a bit wonky, so they replaced that. The guy was still a bit unsure about the fixture (cheapo pull chain lamp), so I went ahead and had him replace it. It's now a normal light. This is the second time I've used the company. The first time they saved my bacon by getting out here right away when another contractor backed out last minute. They've again done a fine job in a reasonable amount of time for a fair price. I'll use them again.

Had problems mounting the new light fixture. Bob (the technician) had no problems connected the wiring with new wire nuts and mounting the bracket and fixture. He is a friendly person and takes care of business professionally and quickly.

I called to schedule installation of recessed lights to my kitchen area and add an outlet to the exterior of the house. In an effort to minimize the cost of the parts, Darleen, the Office Manager, provided me with their choice of manufacturer and part numbers so I could purchase the parts myself. She was extremely pleasant, helpful and efficient. She responded quickly to all my concerns and questions. Once I purchased the parts I called and Darleen was able to schedule the work in a few days. I received emails and phone calls to confirm the appointment. The work was scheduled for arrival within a two hour window and the electrician, Juan, contacted me approximately one half hour before his arrival. Juan was friendly and very knowledgeable. He explained my options to add the outlet to the exterior of the house. It would not have been easy to do because of having to open up portions of the walls to bring the line from the basement to the garage exterior so I decided not to have him perform this job. As far as the installation of the recessed lights, Juan wanted to ensure that the lights were placed exactly where I wanted them. Once the work was complete he cleaned everything up and left the house exactly as it was when he arrived except for the additional recessed lights. :) I will definitely use their services again. It went well. Clean and professional

As always, Absolute Electric did an amazing job from start to finish. I emailed at night and got a call back first thing in the morning to set up an appointment for an estimate. The estimate was done without issue and the work appointment was set up right then and there. John was the one who actually performed the installation, and he was great throughout. He called before he arrived and showed up right when he said he would. He explained the whole procedure and then went to work. The project took about 2.5 hours, and he cleaned up after he was done. He was knowledgeable and friendly and I would absolutely hire him again for future projects.

Juan installed 8 recessed lights in my living room. The service was very good and we are happy with the finished product. My living room had no lights and we were tired of using lamps for the only source of light. We found the deal on Angie's List for 4 recessed lights (including all labor, parts, everything) and moved forward with he job. There was dry wall that had to be cut to fish the wires through the ceiling to attach to the light switch; we were made fully aware that the damage would be part of the job. We had to use another vendor to repair and paint the damaged dry wall (again we knew this before buying the deal). The dry wall repair/paint ended up costing another $230. Overall, we are happy with everything.

I called Absolute Electric after reading their reviews on Angie's List. I spoke with Darlene who was very helpful. She scheduled the visit late in the afternoon so I would not have to take time off from work. The electrician arrived on time, was friendly, knowledgeable and worked quickly. He fixed a circuit breaker, installed a new switch and two light fixtures. He advised me on what type of dimmer switch to purchase for the new lights (they are LED lights and a little bright), and even wrote down exactly what I need so I could show it to Home Depot for the correct switches. The electrician was in my home for one hour with a total cost of $150. I am thrilled to have all my outlets working again! I am recommending Absolute Electric to all my friends because it is difficult to find a reliable, honest, hard-working, FAST electrician.

I was very impressed with all aspects of the experience. The electrical issue started over the weekend for us. I called Absolute Electrical about 10 AM this morning and they had a technician out to our house right when they said they would at 12:30. Bob was very professional and clearly knew what he was doing. He very quickly debugged and fixed our initial issue and installed the surge protectors we needed for a very fair price. Along the way he offered some very good advice on things I could do myself to increase the safety of our outlets.

Mark arrived promptly at the scheduled time and completed service in approximately 2.5 hours. he was very professional and polite and completed all requested work. he caused some minor damage to the drywall in the adjacent room when he was installing the wiring. he was very up front and explained what happened. there wasn't any damage to the molding so i told him not to worry about it (Absolute Electric does not repair drywall anyway). he cleaned up and was on his way.

The office staff responded quickly when I first inquired about the cost and availability to do the work. The estimator showed up within a day or so of my inquiry and the technicians began and completed the work a day or so after that. The entire transaction happened in a very timely manner. The technicians were professional, completed the work quickly, and it looks great. They had to cut a few holes in the drywall as expected, but they left the pieces for repair and the cuts were minimal and clean. I have more electrical work needed in this house and plan to contact them again.

This took 2-3 electricians all day to complete (they called in the third guy in the afternoon so they would finish in one day). The 1977 original recessed lights had to be cut out of the ceiling to be replaced and some old track lighting removed. This was a major job. In the end, all went well, everything looked good and worked perfectly. and I was quite pleased with the work. I had two other bids on the work, both higher, but not by a huge amount. Glad I went with Absolute.

The crew of Julio and his helper arrived just as promised and met with my husband first and then went right to work. They installed under cabinet lighting in our kitchen with dimmers, extra outlets and installed new outlet boxes and plates throughout the kitchen. They were incredibly polite, professional and knowledgeable. They offered great suggestions and did just amazing work. The install went very smoothly and the lights all work perfectly and just look beautiful!! They did an exceptional job and cleaned up afterwards. The ceiling fan installation went great too! They did everything we asked for and more!! I would highly recommend this company not only was their work exceptional their price was great too! Beat a competitor by a long shot and the gentleman that did the estimate was also polite professional, honest and knowledgeable. A really great experience for us will use them again soon A++++++ from us!

Lucas was great! He showed up on time, cleaned up quickly and finished the job in less than an hour.

Purchased their attic fan deal over the phone. Deal stated it was $425 but they advised that it would be $100 more due to the pitch of my roof. The added charge was due to the safety equipment the installer would need to use due the the slope of the roof. They used Google Earth to estimate the roof pitch and advised that the $100 would only be charged if the safety equipment was needed. Juan showed up one time and was very knowledgeable and friendly. He quickly got to work and was very professional. He advised that safety equipment would be needed for the roof because my roof was right at the cut-off point for roof pitch. Absolute had been very up front about this possibility so it wasn't an issue. Once the fan was installed he answered a few of my questions about other electric work that I needed around the house. He also provided recommendations (whole house surge protector) on things that could be useful to have. He answered all my questions and made sure I understood how the fan worked before leaving.The box did not come with an instruction manual so when Absolute called later that day for a follow-up they took note and mailed one later that week. All in all it was a good experience and I would use them again.

They arrived early. Replaced and secured the electrical outlet behind stove. Located short in a series of wall outlets. They made a number of recommendations on electrical upgrades (no hard up-sale). Work completed in 3 hours. Very professional electrician.

Punctual, professional. Working with Absolute was very pleasant throughout the entire process. Had an excellent discussion upfront on what services were required. Absolute rep on phone (maybe the owner? Sorry I've forgotten if it was Shawn!) was refreshingly candid in walking me through the budgeting options and how the service would be priced. Even to the extent of giving me his rough estimate depending on whether the electrician encountered any complications (which turned out being pretty much spot on). Electrician who showed up was great. Very courteous, competent, and neat. After installation, walked me through the mechanics - made sure the remote worked and the blades were balanced.

The work was done on time, within estimate and with professional quality. Rob did an excellent job of estimating all work to be done. Then Bob and his apprentice Kevin did superb work always keeping us informed and keeping the work area in order and cleaned up afterward.

The electrician, Mark, did an excellent job. He was professional, clearly experienced and knowledgeable about his work, and courteous and did a good job ensuring that his work area was clean after he finished the three jobs.

Lucas arrived on time and was very friendly and professional. He covered his shoes, as not to track dirt into the house. This call was easy for him, since he just had to rewire a new GFI that was wired incorrectly. Lucas was so kind that you could barely see his smile when he learned that my husband had tried to install it himself :) I'll definately call Absolute Electrical again when we need help and I'll ask for Lucas. The problem was fixed in a timely manner for a fair price. Unlike most other electricians I have dealt with, Absolute Electric's pricing is fair, honest and upfront. Shauwn is simply the best home services professional I have worked with in any field. Very highly recommended.

From the initial contact through Angie's list to completion of the work order, this company was terrific. We lost power to multiple rooms upstairs. After trying to troubleshoot the problem ourselves, we decided to call in the professionals. After my initial contact on Angie's List, I was promptly contacted by Darlene who was very professional and courteous. Prior to scheduling an appointment, she recommended that I contact the power company to ensure the problem wasn't caused the power lines coming into the house. It's free to have the power company do some quick troubleshooting and would have saved money if a private electrician wasn't needed. Some quick troubleshooting from the power company indicated that it was likely an internal power problem, so I contacted Darlene again and she quickly set up an appointment for the next day for an electrician to come out to the house. Tim (electrician) gave me a 30 minute call out to let us know he was on his way. He showed up on schedule and went right to work. He was able to isolate the problem within 5-10 minutes and quickly set out to make the necessary repair. He worked very efficiently and took the time to explain why the problem occurred. As he worked, he was also open and responsive to my other electrical related questions. Very efficient, clean (wore booties and picked up the wire splices as he worked), and professional. I will certainly call them again if I have any future need of an electrician.
