Absolute Electric LLC

I called on a Tuesday and had someone out on Friday. The electrician was Will and he was great.He was on time and at the very beginning of the 2-hour window they gave me. He let me know exactly what he needed to do and why he was doing it. One of the boxes couldn't be moved without significant rewiring so we agreed to just put a blank plate on it which looks perfectly fine. He cleaned everything up, even vacuuming the dust from cutting the ceiling. He replaced the two dimmers when I told him how old they were because they don't work with LED/CFL which explains why we're replacing bulbs so often. Will was very pleasant and I would definitely have them do additional work.

Shane was the electrician that did our work and he was simply fantastic. He called beforehand, arrived a few minutes early and went right to work. He was clearly knowledgeable and at no point made us feel uncomfortable about the work he was doing / how he was doing it. He explained his work and even did some education on electrical work which i value as a homeowner. As a whole, Absolute Electric was so professional and even followed up after the work was completed to get feedback.

It went great! Will came out and was very easy to work with, went straight to work and quickly finished the job. Would definitely hire again for future jobs!

Juan was very professional, knowledgeable, polite and trustworthy as was his assistant Bryant. Both Juan and Bryant worked in my house for a day and a half to complete all this work. They called before they were going to arrive and arrived on time. They had to cut drywall and run wires through the ceiling and got the job done timely, proficiently and cleaned up nicely. Juan spent time explaining all the work he would do and after he's done he shows you everything that was completed. Juan had come out to my home previously to install a ceiling fan and gave me an estimate for the above work and I was fortunate to have Juan come out to complete the additional work. I've used Absolute Electric in the past since 2012 and have always experienced great service and excellent work. I will be calling Absolute Electric again shortly to complete additional work needed. I highly recommend this company as they are a small business who treat their customers exceptionally and their technicians are top notch.

Juan explained the problem with the bathroom light fixture and replaced the it. He showed me how the new one worked and how to change the bulb. He also took down the vent cover so that I could clean it and showed me how to change the bulb in the other bathroom fixture. He was very friendly and professions.

Juan was professional, on time, and honest about the work he was going to perform. He didn't waste time or try to up-sell. I appreciate his service and will look to hire Absolute Electric again in the future. I even requested Juan for the second job and Absolute was able to schedule him for my job. It's nice to build rapport and work with the same company and technician. I appreciate Absolute management for making that accommodation. Highly recommend!

There was a lot of moving parts to this project, involving Absolute's coordination with Dominion Power and Falls Church city permitting office/inspection, and it all went smoothly. Juan the electrician was meticulous, did great work, and explained each part of the process. His assistants Chris and Bryant worked hard too. The office staff was great to work with and unfailingly polite and helpful -- thanks especially to Darleen, who helped to arrange everything.

The technician was very professional and courteous. He worked to troubleshoot the problem and repair the broken outlets.

It went well. The technician Juan Merida, was very polite and professional. He explained to me why it was not a simple job to replace the light fixture on the ceiling fan and that we would have to replace the entire fan. This was not an option, as the light works but we just don't like it. I appreciated his honesty. I also like the fact that he marked the side of the smoke detectors with the date (mo.yr.) that the batteries had been changed for future reference. That was good. I'm not sure if the marker can be removed but maybe the next time he can use masking tape (or we'll use masking tape) to do this when we change the batteries again. We got the service as when we tried to change the batteries the one alarm would be set off. He explained that it was probably a bad battery. We hadn't thought of that since we had just bought the package recently. Lots of lessons learned. Will use Absolute in the future for more complicated jobs. Appreciated the good customer service that I got when calling the office to set up an appointment and the fact that the techncican called me to let me know when he expected to arrive. Good service overall.

Every part of the process was smooth. I emailed photos to Absolute when inquiring about a price and made an appointment over the phone. My technician was Ryan, a very nice guy who got right to work. He called the morning of the appointment to confirm and arrived right when he said he would. He had seen the photos I had emailed and was prepared for the repairs. I told him about the home inspection and he wrote a very thorough invoice to satisfy the requirements of the buyer. When making the appointment over the phone, Absolute gave me a rough estimate of one hour labor and it took one and half. This wasn't the first time I used Absolute Electric LLC and it won't be the last.

My mixed bag review really has to do with my pet peeve which is don't say you are going to call me the next day to confirm when you could possibly be able to come back to finish up the job if you have no intention of doing so!! Especially when you've left live wires in the ceiling above my center island. Even if it is a call in the morning to say "sorry ma'am, we're not going to be able to fit you in before next Tuesday", that would have been fine. Then I would have known in the morning to find an alternative and would have given me more time than scrambling at 4PM. That stuff is part of the overall "professionalism" of the company in my opinion. Also, I would recommend to anyone using this company that you re-iterate the priority of tasks. I had seventeen recessed lights replaced that weren't a priority that were completed ahead of the other priority tasks that didn't get done. Also I ended up feeling that because I didn't get the TV, they seemed to lose interest in creating an outlet for me if they weren't doing the whole TV wall mount install. No worries I went back to Michael & Sons Electric that I usually use and they got everything else done today Having said all that - the tech that came in - I believe his name was Will - was very personable and worked hard and what did get done was done well. I think he helped me out with the pricing based upon some of the hiccups we ran into and I did really appreciate that a great deal. Like I said, if I would have gotten the promised call and the wires had been capped (or whatever the term is), the review score would have probably been a lot higher.

We had an issue with the smoke detectors and an electrician at Absolute advised me over the phone as what the possible problems were. They initially could not get to us for a week but then called within an hour when they had a cancelation and fit us in the next day. The electrician was on-time, courteous, helpful about what issues to watch for, etc. Juan went above and beyond on a simple job. The price was great with the coupon.

The work was done well and quickly. It was on time and for the price quoted. The crew cleaned up well at the end.

There was a long waiting list (it was the heart of summer, so that makes sense), but when the day finally arrived, he showed up right on time and went right to work. Technician was very friendly and knowledgeable and the entire installation was done in around 2 hours.

Company has very solid scheduling practices. Juan with assist from Mike was very knowledgeable and methodical in analyzing the possible issues. Moreover, he patiently explained the problem and got the system working again.

Mark was great. Very courteous, efficient, and professional. Would recommend.

I called Absolute Electric because of a very annoying deep humming sound that could be heard in one of the bedrooms and that I suspected was due to our attic fan. I had read posts online from people with a similar problem who reported that electricians were often dismissive of attic fan humming or insisted nothing could be done other than turning off the fan. I have a very different story. Will from Absolute Electric was absolutely great. He was super friendly, very professional, and not at all dismissive of the problem. He went up into attic and noticed the fan rigging was slightly loose so he first tightened everything which reduced quite a lot of the humming immediately. He then came up with a second suggestion to reduce the sound even more using 2x4 planks to further anchor down the fan. The humming sound from my fan can hardly be heard now! I felt Will really went beyond the standard service by trying to improve on his initial fix and all of this was covered by the cost of a 1-hour call out visit. I definitely plan on using Absolute Electric for any future electrical problems and am happy to recommend them to others.

Went very well. Mark was very professional and made the proper recommendations for this job. Mark advised that the current flood lights were not effective due to the height level (over 25 ft). He recommended upgrading to RABB, a higher quality flood light, which would be the appropriate flood light for the desired height and offer superior quality.

“We recently had a new outdoor lamp and post installed by Zach Brogan, Service Technician, along with his helper, Michael, from Absolute Electric LLC. They were on time, very professional, and both were accommodating and friendly. The pole and lamp were installed exactly where we wanted and look great. Cleanup was very thorough. We would definitely recommend this company for any electrical work needed.”

The house was wired wrong. I don't think the contractor ever had inspectors out here and he never got a permit to do any of the work. So, we're using Absolute Electric LLC. They were out here last week and they were out here again this morning. The gentleman that came out last week to take care of some stuff found some wiring problems and he fixed all but one. The problem is in the kitchen ceiling because the kitchen lights were installed and they were the wrong type for the kitchen. They left the area perfect. I would recommend them to a friend. It cost about $500 for the first visit and about $2000 for the second.

It went very well, Bill arrived on time, was thorough and explained everything. He definitely put our minds at ease with regard to the electrical in our recently purchased older house.

They did an absolutely terrific job. Were on time and diligent. Result was very nice. Price was fair. Was also helpful in guiding me to select the right LED bulbs.
