Description of Work: Amazing work. I called and spoke with Shaun (the owner) at about 10 am. He was so helpful, friendly and straightforward. He said he had a couple of guys available the same day and said they would be over at 11. The guys showed up right on time (Eric and Kyle). They came in, installed about 20 dimmer switches and a new foyer light, and then cleaned up, showed me how the switches worked and that's it. Easy as pie. Everything was installed perfectly and they didn't waste any time at all. They were professional, funny, and fair. I have a few more things to do and will certainly be calling them again soon! Great experience.

Description of Work: The company was responsive to my concerns and considerate of my time. They worked with me regarding scheduling of the work. The estimate was all inclusive and comprehensive and the finished work was significantly of better quality than had been estimated by other contractors. Overall, I was very pleased and satisfied. Description of Work: I needed a base-board heater replaced in one of my rooms. When I called, I was able to get an appointment first thing in the morning on Monday. I was also advised that I could purchase the heating unit myself to save the markup the company would otherwise charge. Having previous experience with home repairs, it impressed me that Absolute Electric was telling me as a client a way to save money. The gentleman arrived on time and took a little less than an hour to install the baseboard, which is what he had estimated. I appreciated the efficiency and respect that the gentleman showed while in my home. This company does deserve the ratings they have received.

Description of Work: Technician was on time and friendly. However feel there prices are very high. Four hundred dollars for a part that cost 100 dollars and a half an hour of work.

Description of Work: Have been having problem with the GFI blowing out my outlets in my garage, main bathroom, powder room and master bathroom. This happened twice in the summer & fall and in early winter of this year. When it happened a third time, Absolute sent a very professional and experienced electrician named Tim, who resolved the problem. Apparently our developer hired some pseudo-electricians when they built the house back in 1992. These pseudo-electricians, who get paid for their speed, not for the quality of the their work, SPEED-WRAPPED my electrical outlets. That's why the GFI was always blowing. So Tim from Absolute Electric did a wonderful job. He even convinced me to purchase a home surge protector. That cost was $400.00. Without the home surge protector, the labor cost was only $119.00. Absolute Electric is a great, dependable organization and they will always service my electrical needs.

Description of Work: Experienced an outage in 4 out of 5 garage outlets. No GFI's or breakers had tripped. Absolute found the problem quickly which had to do with faulty "speed wiring" used in original construction and completed the repair within an hour. They responded to my service call within 24 hours. No problems since the repair. Angie's List 10% discount was applied and much appreciated.

Description of Work: We've recently moved moved into this house and have been there doing fix-up work on it before moving in. It was a late Friday night before a three-day weekend when we discovered the fridge wasn't working. My husband can usually troubleshoot anything but couldn't find the problem. He had checked the non-working lines and lines connected to them as well as looking for disturbed ground-fault interrupters, blown fuses and switches in the circuit breaker box. We scanned the reviews on Angie's list and chose Absolute. We called about 10am Sat morning, expecting to get voicemail for the three day weekend.BUT WE GOT SOMEONE IMMEDIATELY AND HE WAS AT OUR PLACE WITHIN TWO HRS TROUBLESHOOTING THE PROBLEM! It ended up being a faulty wiring in behind one receptacle that tripped out the wiring-- the problem was found in relatively short order but our electrician, Rick Johnson, was diligent enough to find it in short order. We have a lot of electrical work to be done on this place and will definitely be calling Absolute.

Description of Work: I had previous problems with tripping GFI's and circuits and the two service representatives checked the circuit breaker panel and GFI's and several outlets. They were very polite and indicated that the refrigerator/freezer in garage was probably occasionally drawing too mcuh power for a 15 amp circuit and made recommendations. The overall check of the electrical system and panel found no problems. Very satisfied with the service call and the price and I would use them again for future electrical work and recommend the company.
