Abbey Design + Remodel

We recently had a major kitchen renovation project completed by Abbey Design and Remodel. From our first meeting with Jimmy, to the end of the project, we felt like we were in good hands. Communication throughout the process with sales, design, and the crew on site was smooth and thorough. The entire design team listened to our needs and offered ideas and suggestions that we might not have thought of (Thank you Justin and Ms.Z!). Jeo and Diaz, doing the construction, didn't simply follow the plans; they often asked for our input to insure the project was exactly as we envisioned it. There was never a problem they couldn't solve and they left the site clean and swept each evening. We're thrilled with our new kitchen and can honestly say that Abbey Design and Remodel exceeded our expectations. We can recommend them without hesitation.

We have recently finished a full kitchen renovation with Abbey Design. This type of project can be stressful and I was a little concerned when I start looking for a contractor. However, working with Abbey's team made everything easy and very professional. Jimmy Nazemian, the Project Manager, explained what we should expect and everything worked as planned. He was in constant communication and I really felt I can leave this project on his capable hands. Abbey Design took care of everything for us. His team worked with amazing attention to detail and they care for a job well done. They took their time to make sure everything is as expected or exceeds expectations. They did not rush through but also made sure that they delivered the project timely. We are extremely happy with our new kitchen, and we recommend Abbey Design. We will use them again for other projects in the house.

From start to finish this was a job well done! Before our bathroom was boring and outdated, and now it looks like an upscale resort bathroom. Abbey Designs did a fantastic job on our kitchen renovation last year, and just like last time, the work is absolutely top notch. We could not be any happier with the way it came out. Their design and remodeling resulted in an elegant, and flawlessly laid out bathroom and shower. My friends describe it as, “refine and chic.” Moreover, their demolition and construction was remarkably clean with little dust. I suffer from pulmonary issues and conveyed my concern to Abbey Design. They assured me that hallways, carpeting, doorways and entrance ways to other rooms and to other portions of the the house would be protected with sheeting. They also assured that cutting of materials would be done outside the home. When they finished, the resulting dust was minuscule and clean up was a breeze. Finally, they started and finished the remodeling in the time frame as promised. Abbey Design Center, and its professionals are well worth the money.

We are very pleased and excited about our master bath remodel by Abbey Design. Our expectations were high and Abbey delivered. The design process with Jimmy and Zee was very organized and efficient requiring very little time to accomplish. Having a one-stop process to select all of the bathroom features significantly cut down on the amount of time we would have spent visiting a variety of showrooms. During the remodel process it became apparent that Geo and his crew are true craftsmen who care about attention to detail and finish. The tile and trim cuts, caulking, grouting, and painting were done with care providing a beautiful fit and finish. The glass enclosure and door for the shower are beautiful with equal attention spent on the custom fit. We could not be more pleased with the outcome.

We selected Abbey Design Center (ADC) to do a complete remodel of our master bathroom and our guest bathroom. We could not have made a better decision!! The ADC Team was nothing short of phenomenal. Consummate professionals in their areas of expertise, each team member added their personal touch to our project resulting in a finished product that left us and everyone who’s seen it in awe. The overall process was straight forward and completely stress-free. After an initial visit at the Sterling showroom, Jimmie came to our home and carefully listened to our specific thoughts about what we wanted for the bathroom remodeling. He explained the ADC process, provided several insightful design suggestions and then worked with Justin to develop and deliver a five-star layout design and price estimate in just a few days. Jimmie presented and explained the layout and estimate and thoroughly answered all our questions. After we approved the layout, Zee spent 90 minutes with us at the Leesburg showroom going over every aspect of the interior design. Like every other member of the ADC Team, she started by listening to our thoughts about what we liked/wanted. Then she carefully provided us logical alternatives for every interior design detail, with each successive design alternative building on our previous choices. She used the Design Center resources to provide and show us tangible building materials like the floor and wall tiles, paint colors, and everything else right down to the drawer handles. Once we completed our choices, she compiled and provided us a binder of detailed information and descriptions (i.e., manufacturer, part number, size, etc.) for every item of the interior design. This reference binder will provide us a means to easily replace, refurbish, or upgrade any of the hardware, tiles, paint etc. that might need attention at some future date. Next, Robert developed a project schedule and coordinated all of the trade personnel to efficiently gut and then rebuild each bathroom. As the project manager, Robert was solely responsible for execution and quality of the work; he did his job fantastically. Robert was always available and listened respectfully to any thoughts/questions/issues that we had and provided answers/solutions in a very timely manner. The ADC work crews were great! They arrived on time, were congenial, completed their work with minimum disruption, and left the areas around the work site neat and free of excessive dust at the end of each day. Every member of the ADC Team made us feel like we were their most important/only client. They were respectful and highly professional. Best of all, they lived up to every promise and delivered an outstanding product on time and for the exact quoted price; there were no hidden surprises. We absolutely love our new bathrooms!!! We will definitely recommend Abbey Design Center to our family, friends, and neighbors. ADC is our choice for any/all future home remodeling projects.

It has been a great experience. From the first time we talked with Jimmy at the store to the times he can to measure and walk us thru what would look best in our space. The installation of the kitchen has been amazing. Jaime and Fernando were professional and friendly. We have enjoyed every step.

Chris Clark at Abbey Design in Leesburg, Va is such a pleasure to work with. We had to replace our entire basement carpet and padding after our sump pump failed. We quickly had our order placed, carpet in, and his install team did such a quick, professional job. We highly recommend them.

Abbey Design Center exceeded our expectations! We have worked with many design/contracting companies over the past 5 years as we have done a lot of remodeling in our home. Abbey was by far, the best company we have worked with. They are professional, responsive, skilled and an overall pleasure to deal with. Zee was very patient in helping me design my bathroom. The result is a unique bathroom that makes me feel like I'm in a spa. Robert was our project manager. He is incredibly good at managing his projects. He kept us informed of the next steps all along the way, does periodic checks of the work, keeps the project moving forward and is very responsive and a pleasure to work with. Throughout the project, Jimmy called to check in to ensure the project was going smoothly which was greatly appreciated. Excellent results. It was a very big project including relocation of appliances, new flooring, cabinetry, and updating design elements. Abbey Design Team worked with us from design to gutting the kitchen, relocating everything, installation of new longer island, new appliances and inspections. We love our new kitchen!

I give Abbey Design Center an A+++ for the work that they did at our house. We have done several remodels in our home but this has by far been the best and the least stressful to deal with. The entire team which includes Zied(Project Manager); Zee and Kate (Design); Robert, Shawn and Justin (Construction Supervision); Relu, Jose, William and Mike (Construction Team); Sean, Jamie and Daniel (Counters); Kimo (Floors) were very professional and easy to work with. For starters we had a contract that was thorough and spelled out every aspect of the full remodel. This made it very easy to deal with any questions that arose during the remodel. Zee provided us with a professional design solution that was a huge improvement over our original design. Robert and his team kept us informed of every process of the remodel by both email and phone and they were very prompt in responding to our questions. At one point we did find a minor problem which was politely and professionally handled and quickly corrected. Best of all, we had a planned trip and gave them a dead line when everything had to be completed and they finished the entire project a couple of weeks before our trip. We appreciate the fact that Relu and his team were very prompt and diligent. They arrived on time at 8:30 every day and worked well into the afternoon to get as much work done as possible. Before they left each day, they made sure all debris was removed and that floors and steps were cleaned, as well as the garage, which they used to cut materials and store some of their equipment. Relu is a true craftsman and he and his team gave a us a beautiful new bedroom and bath. We were very impressed with Relu's work and that of his team. We were very happy with Abbey and the work that they did in our home. We will definitly use them again if we decide on another remodel in the future.

This incredible kitchen remodel has been a fantastic experience. From the showroom staff to design consultation to Robert, Jaime, and Daniél, I cannot say enough good things about the professional and courteous way I’ve been treated. My jumble of ideas has turned into a gorgeous, functional centerpiece of my home. The personal touch set my mind at ease - I never felt like my project was just another job. I hired Abbey Design Center to turn my empty (and unused) mudroom into a Butler's Pantry.... WOW, I couldn't be happier! From start to finish, the project was stress-free. I knew what I wanted, and ADC made it happen! They are organized and professional. All of my questions were anticipated and answered promptly. The timeline and schedule for the project was excellent, updates were communicated, and they actually finished ahead of schedule! The selection and quality of materials were superior and they were able to match the materials in my main kitchen. I will call them first and use them for any future home improvement products!!

I contracted Abbey Design Center (ADC) for a total basement remodel project. The final result was spectacular, and better than I could have ever imagined. ADC is a trustworthy, transparent, and professional organization. They have my strongest possible recommendation for all home remodel projects. My initial appointment was with Jimmy, ADC’s General Manager. He was fantastic in explaining ADC’s process and initial quote. Jimmy’s honesty and guidance for the project was invaluable. Justin, ADC’s design engineer, drafted a flawless schematic for the project. He was flexible and ensured every detail of the design was to my satisfaction. Zee, ADC’s interior designer, was exceptional in guiding me exhaustively through all options/selections for the project. Zee’s advice was critical in developing a stunningly aesthetic result. Once the project began, Robert--ADC’s Project Manager--was a true professional. He consistently communicated updates and progress without any prompting. He aggressively kept the construction team on schedule and finished earlier than the anticipated completion date. He found every opportunity to go above and beyond to guarantee optimal satisfaction with all aspects of the project. Any questions I brought up were instantly acknowledged and answered. Robert is easily the best project manager I have had the pleasure to work with.

We had a great experience with Abbey Design Center. Our project included a remodel of our master bath, makeover of a full bath and powder room, installing hardwood flooring throughout the upstairs and redoing the staircase with hardwood. We had a lot of help with the design and selections from Zee. She was great helping us make selections which were in our budget but also made some great suggestions wrt design and options. In our opinion, Abbey's strength is in their ability to deliver and install. The Project Manager (Robert) and his team led by Roberto were excellent to work with. It was a long project and they were respectful of our time and were considerate regarding the inconveniences and disruptions that this type of project brings. The quality of work was excellent. I would specifically mention the flooring and staircase work that was done by Kimo. I have never seen a harder and more precise worker. This man is a craftsman. Overall, a job well done. I would highly recommend them for any major home renovation.

The entire process went exactly as described from the time of placing the order for the flooring to the installation and project completion. This included the estimated dates for when the flooring would arrive to scheduling the installation.

I had a water leak in 2 homes this summer and Abbey Design did a great job replacing my floors. Chris at Abbey was such a pleasure to work with and the guys at my houses were very polite, diligent, and thorough in their work. I had to leave my home to work with my clients and when I returned home, the work was complete, my furniture was carefully put back in place, and my home looked fabulous. Nick at the warehouse is great to work with. He is always available to answer his phone and he made all my installs convenient for me and always on time. Wonderful company to do business with.
