Rooms were prepared for installation by removal of small items from tops of dressers and other places to prevent breakage. Closet floors were cleaned out too. Material, flooring in boxes, was delivered three days ahead of time and stored inside house to acclimate the flooring to the house conditions. Crew arrived late Monday morning, due to traffic problems in neighborhood. Not their fault. Just couldn't get here from there. Crew completed one bedroom (my office) on the first day. Crew returned the next day to finish the job. Second day install crew was only one person due to scheduling conflict of second day. Because of afternoon rain showers crew moved saw into garage so they could continue work. Installer made a good effort to minimize sawdust mess on both days. Because of only one installer on second day the job wasn't finished until after 7 PM. Final product looks great.

We liked the concept of their company: one-stop shopping where you can get cabinetry, tile, hardwood flooring, and all of the fixtures.

They were fantastic. They came to the house and measured everything. They gave me estimates that were accurate. The were right exactly on the timeline they said they would be on. They followed up after the work was done to see if there were any problems. They were just really really easy to deal with. They always answered the phone and called me back when I needed them to. The workers were great. The thing that was different about them than any other place I went to was they supplied there own plumber to removed the toilet so they could install the floors. All the other companies required I hire my own plumber. They subcontracted a plumber for me.

They did it quick and easy. They measured the room and followed up when then said they would. There was no chit chat they did the job that had to be done.

On job #2 - laminate flooring - the 3 strips that separate the laminate from other flooring were installed too tightly so that they buckled and popped up off of the surface (one even broke). Also, the installers left the decals/labels on the flooring and I still am unable to remove them. Called (703)450-8181 and was told to leave a message for "Lynn" (I was put through to the voice mail of "Kristen Harris", but was told Lynn would get the message. Left two messages for Lynn 2 weeks apart. No response. Called again and spoke to "Mary" (she mentioned that our salesperson, "Kass" was sitting beside her and she'd tell him about it). Mary tried to put me through to Lynn again, but I refused as she never returned my phone calls. So, Mary said she'd research it and get back to me within a few days. I never heard from them. I was so tired of the whole mess that I just paid my handyman to do the repairs. I don't have enough space here to describe job #1 (not good either) . . .

It went pretty well. The prices in the store seemed more fungible than we expected. We had a sale coupon and we went into the store on a day when there was a one day sale, but it was unclear exactly what the final price was based on. In any case, it seemed reasonable to us. The installers arrived on time and were efficient, but we felt that they could have done a better job around the edges--either that or inform us why they couldn't before they left. We are very happy with the carpets; the owner of the store had some good recommendations.
