They showed up 3 hours late. By the time they finished loading my small condo, they were caught in rush hour traffic. They charged me for the 2 hours they were stuck in traffic. By the time they got to my new place, the elevator could no longer be reserved, so unloading took a long time. I told them to put the plants in my car, they put them in the truck and destroyed most. I had boxes numbered how they should go in and out of the truck, they totally ignored this in spite of my repeatedly telling them to follow my system. They finally finished at 10 p.m.I was so tired of arguing with them I just paid what they asked.$800 is ridiculous for a 13 mile move and totally boxed 1 bedroom. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!

It was a chance encounter with Chris on the Dulles Toll Road that led me to his website and the opportunity to do business with him. Since this was a small move, I didn't think I could get any major moving company to do it for a decent price or in a timely manner. Chris responded to my inquiry immediately, quoting me a price I felt was reasonable. After some delay trying to coordinate everyone's schedules, we set the move up for 4/18. Chris and Maurice showed up right at the time they had told me they would be here. It helped that the sofas were already shrink-wrapped from a recent out-of-state move. But they did have to pad some wood furniture and a floor lamp. Everything was secured in the trailer and they were off in less than 30 minutes. Talk about efficient! The delivery in NJ was a little harder since a condo was involved. But Chris was polite and patient even when the condos' management was rude to him (the move had been arranged in advance with management's OK). An all-over delightful experience and I will definitely recommend Chris to friends and use him again myself if the opportunity presents itself. One additional note: To his credit, Chris is both licensed and insured. I wanted verification of his insurance before the move and he gladly gave me his agent's name and number. The agency was more than happy to send me the appropriate information.
