Very friendly and honest company even though I wasn't a customer. It's nice I see there are still honest people out there.

I have many mixed feelings for this report so I will give details on each category of grade. Price: Their price was my main attraction to Great Falls Septic Service. They had pumped our septic tank twice before and had done that just fine for a good price. To their credit, after opening up the trench it was discovered that some more length would be needed because of old materials that are not acceptable now. Also, the inspector found that the original total fall was not enough (even though the system has functioned fine since 1983, but that's another story) so they also had to raise the outlet from the tank about 1.5". They did both of those things and held their original price firm--that carries a lot of weight in my mind. Gave them an A for price. Quality: In the end, the job was done well. There was one minor accidental impact that put a gouge in our asphalt driveway with a tooth of the backhoe--but hey, nothing to do about that so it's now water under the bridge to me. Gave them an A for quality. Responsiveness: Several times I called to work on the next step and had to call again a couple of days later after no response. Several times they responded that day or the next day, enough of a mix that I gave them a B. Punctuality: Most of the time they showed when they said they would, several times they showed a day or two later. Gave them a B. Professionalism:This is the category where the problems reside. This job was supposed to be about a week or two after we excavated our dbox on 6/3, it was finished today 7/26 (7 1/2 weeks later). It's summer and they are quite busy, but that is way too long. I don't know all of their reasons for following up with me so poorly, and this overlaps the "responsiveness" category a bit. I gave them a B there because strictly speaking when I called they got back to me reasonably soon, but any time they came out and went away having accomplished something or not, then I never got a call back and I had to call them to find out what was happening. This happened several times (at least four). We were out of town for a week so I left a check with my father-in-law to pay them if they finished the job while we were gone. We returned to find nothing had been done, no messages from them. I called and was told that they were waiting for my call to talk about something with the inspector--with no message to call them or anything?!?!? On top of that, I had received a bill in the mail for the job, before it had been finished?!?!? Finally last Friday the inspector came out and their crew worked hard in the brutal heat to adjust the line while the inspector was here. They said they'd be back the next day to close up the trench (which would have been a Saturday, maybe it was just a mistake) and again with no call or follow up they came today (Tuesday) to finish up the job. Final point of irony--today they follow up lickety split on our doorstep to pick up the check. I had to do way too much work to keep this rolling, can't do any better than a D in this category. Use them again: I had a hard time deciding this button. I try to be forgiving and hope it will be better next time, they are all good people, but this was not a fun experience. I am also providing a report for them in the category of Septic Tank Pumping, which they have done twice for us now, fine work at a very good price. Hope this is fair and helpful.

Went just fine, showed up as agreed, did very good work, for a great price (the best I could find).

Told me he was ordering a sewage pump and gave a model number that checked out to be about $1600 on the web. In actuality, they installed a sump pump that check out to be $600 on the web. We were charged about $2600 for the repair. They destroyed our pump lid upon removing it and now the county won't pass it until we replace the lid. They did not replace the septic tank lid correctly, and not we have a terrible stench. I will NOT call them back! No one followed up to see if we were satisfied.

They were very good. It worked out really well. They have actually replaced the pumps in our system twice, and we have found them to be very good both times. They walked me through the whole thing to get my system going on the phone. A lot of times, a company will come out for something simple and charge you. This company doesn't do that. He just helped me work it out on the phone for no charge. They know their business. They seem to be competitively priced. They respond to any kind of emergency or problem that you're having.

They did a good job. They came when they said they would, did the job well, and it was uneventful which was good. The price came out less than I expected.

Came once looked at the job, told us they'd be back the next week. Never showed. Never called. Talked to them several times, always the same story - be there next week and never call or show up. They seem very disorganized

David came to see what equipment he would need and how many men over a week ago and scheduled service for July 11 at 8:30 a.m. At 1:00 p.m. I called and was told that the "technician" Tim was at DMV renewing his driver's license. At 2 p.m. they called me to tell me Tim would be at my house "shortly". At 3:00 p.m. they called and said Tim would be at my house in ten minutes. Tim showed up at 3:45 P.m. Looked at the septic tank and said "No one told me it was 2 feet deep. It'll take two hours and I have to be at the Chinese embassy in one hour. I am really tired. I have been working all day (presumably at the DMV getting his license). Call me and we will reschedule."
