I must say this is the first time I have hired a contractor I didn't know before the job. Trust is always a factor for me with certain contractors these days. I turned to Best Homes because of the reviews on HomeAdviser. I am a big believer in referrals and reviews. When working to renovate older homes, it is a different animal then new construction and can prove to be much more difficult. Blending and patching new work in with the old and making it look right is a true craft. This house was originally built in 1911 and had the old lave and plater. We removed several walls which required the ceilings and existing walls to be patched, added a new bathroom, and extended the kitchen which all had to be tied back together with the original house. Jonathan called with in minutes of submitting my info and did exactly what he said he would do. They where on time, worked efficiently and cleaned up afterwords. Personally I prefer to do everything myself to keep cost down. The drywall on this project would have taken me weeks. These guys are pros and get it done in a fraction of the time. Well worth the money if your debating on doing it yourself but not a professional finisher. I hung the board and they made it look good. Time is money in my eyes. I plan to use them for all of my drywall work going forward.

Such a wonderful experience. Came out on a Friday gave us a quote that day then came back three days later and did a fantastic drywall job! Could not be happier. The other company took a week Just to call us back and and another two weeks to just get a quote that was way higher!

As a a retired DIYer I have more time than money so I really appreciated Jonathan's willingness to let me finish the final skim coats in exchange for a reduced price. I watched Johnathan and his team install the dry wall and block and tape it in hopes I would learn from the professionals. Jonathan's team were top flight doing a very fine job very quickly. The dry wall seams they left for me to finish skimming were in nicely done and made the job easy to finish. While my job was small Best Homes has a contract for a huge job installing thousands of sheets of dry wall. Best Homes has a strong reputation of quality work and customer service built by Jonathan's father. Johnathan is committed to maintaining and building on the company's reputation. As a retired contractor my self, I have seen many drywall installer's come and go. Now Johnathan sits at the top in my list. His scheduling was great, and his crews where very experienced. Everything was completed as I requested and then some. The project was completed on time and with great quality. This was no small project, 9 plus rooms and a bathroom of drywall install and finish.
