I had purchased all of the materials myself based on the estimate Bill had done on his initial visit. The work was very good and very fast. The job was done in stages. One crew came in and removed the old windows and replaced them with the new windows. For both the window removal and install and the siding removal and install, they showed up when they promised they would and worked long and hard to complete the project. The second stage of the project was the removal and installation of the siding. The removal of the old masonite siding went well and the house was then Tyvex wrapped. Despite an early snow, the siding project continued and was completed on time. The ONLY complaint I had was that the installers did a pretty poor job of lining up the attic fans, which were already installed, with the siding vents. This caused an air flow problem through the attic and we developed a moisture problem. The BEST thing about having Winchester Home Pros do this is that Bill Joyce stands by his work. I called Bill and informed him of the situation, and he came back out in the spring and lined up the vents properly. No complaints, no charges. He made it right! Because of his OUTSTANDING customer service, I have Winchester Home Pros on speed dial and recommend them every chance I get. He may not be the cheapest, but I am happy to pay a little extra for a local contractor who stands by his work.

I had used Winchester Home Pros in the past and was extremely satisfied with the work done and the service after the sale. It would only make sense that I would call them again for an estimate when it came to replacing my roof. Bill Joyce, the owner, showed as promised to do the estimate. He provided a number of samples of roofing materials available and explained, in detail, the quality of the roofing he would install, which was backed by a lifetime warranty. Once again, his was not the lowest bid, but is was certainly no where near the highest either. And the low bidder had to borrow my ladder to get up on the roof. The demo crew showed as promised and went right to work removing the old roofing. They made pretty quick work of it and even spent a good amount of time going around the house and picking up nails and other small debris. The install went just as smoothly with all of the work completed on time. And again, Bill and his son spent quite a bit of time picking up nails and other small debris around the house and then went around a couple more times with a magnet. Very professional, very thorough, and very dependable. I have used Winchester Home Pros for two large projects on my house and both times they delivered outstanding service and outstanding quality. I don't call anyone else for home improvement projects unless Bill refers me to them.

My story is interesting. I have two bathrooms that I was getting redone by another company. I had the floors done in the master and kept getting delayed by the guy I had hired, a non Angies list contractor. After being put off for about a month I called Winchester Home Pros, I spoke to Bill Joyce, he was honest and told me he could not get to my house to do the other bathroom until mid to late June. He then gave me the number to Ernest Griffin 540-974-8992 who should up the day I called to give an estimate. I explained to him my problem and we scheduled a time and the quality of work was excellent. I now know why Bill Joyce uses him on his jobs.I had all my tile, bakcerboards, grout, ,morter and trim. I just needed someone that could put it all in.

The owner, Bill Joyce, is always on-site during construction, ensures a quality project, and immediately follows up on any deficiencies or warranty issues. I requested immediate service for a roof leak in 2010, he promptly responded, and repaired it at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Winchester Home Pros.

When Bill Joyce, company owner, came to give us an estimate, he arrived promptly and worked efficiently. His pricing structure was completely straightforward, unlike one of other companies that came to give an estimate. We were very pleased when he contacted us to say he was offering a 10% discount to attendees at a recent home show, and would offer the same to us. After placing the order, the windows came in sooner than expected, so Bill made arrangements to install them right away. He brought two crews right at the time they said they would come, and they finished in just over 6 hours. With just one crew this would have been a two day job. They laid down drop cloths to catch dirt from their shoes and wore booties over their work shoes to further limit the dirt. There was almost no mess in the house and they cleaned up the outdoor work area completely. For some of the windows, we did not need to take down the existing window treatments. The entire crew was professional and friendly. Note to others buying new windows. Our inside mount mini-blinds brackets did not fit with the new windows. This meant buying and installing new blinds as an outside mount, which in turn meant modifying how some of the curtains and valences were installed.
