In a nut shell, worse service. Would always promise to be at site then not show. Sold me a salt water pool, but installed a chlorine pool. Did not winterize the spa destroyed the pipes and brand new heat pump, rather then repair the heat pump, disconnected the piping from the heat pump to the pool and did not say anything about it being destroyed.

The customer service of this company is terrible--we felt left in the hands of inefficient, inexperienced people. The project began with the contract acceptance on September 22, 2008. The work was not finally completed until July 1, 2009. In the meantime, the pool had to be closed for the winter without being able to remove all the leaves from the pool bottom. leading to staining of the beautiful new cement. If we had not emailed to remind them of the outstanding items in 2009, I feel sure they would have never come back to finish the job. They did not call us--we had to call them. The workmanship of the actual resurfacing appears to be fine--time will tell, but from what I could see, that resurfacing seemed to go well--this is what the company seems good at. However, at each step along the way, that company seemed plagued by inefficiency and inexperience. It wouldn't surprise me if this was their first remodel job of an older pool. They redid the plumbing of the pool, excavating the old water lines and replacing them, and adding a line through the pool foundation to run the Polaris vacuum machine. The plumbing seems fine, but Hart did not come back level the excavated ground after it had settled--they did not leave the ground as it had been before, level, smooth, and reseeded. Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, they did not provide the water recirculation nozzle AND MOST IMPORTANTLY the connection for the Polaris until July 1, 2009, and this was after two preceding attempts. Each time they tried to attach a circulation nozzle, it had the opening of a hot-tub jet, not the opening necessary for the circulation of a 13,000 gallon pool! Their two tries with these jet fittings raised the circulation pressure on the motor 9 lbs. PSI unnecessarily, and had to be removed. To this day, the final jury rigged plumbing solution they offered jutted into the pool in an ugly, unfinished way. At least the one-piece "street elbow" that I fitted in place of their solution looked better and did not jut into the pool like a sore thumb, and allowed normal lower pressure circulation. This is what makes me think Hart Pools is totally inexperienced in restoring old pools--they don't know what fittings to use. The worst problem occurred with the Polaris. They took away our old method of running the Polaris (which we asked them to do), and then left us with no way to attach our machine to their new plumbing in the pool. Thus, all the leaves could not be removed from the pool in fall 2008, leading to some staining of the new cement. This was a simple fix they should and could have easily supplied in 2008. The choosing of the border tile was another exercise in inefficiency, which wasted much time. At contact acceptance, Hart emailed, "I look forward to the opportunity of restoring your swimming pool. I pledge to diligently pursue the completion of this project...". He did not fulfill his pledge.
