They are wonderful painters, and Julie is learning how to to do this, but Mickey does so much. Sandy did a raw job for us. We don't have a porch or overhang for the front door, and when the wind and water came down, it came out more at an angle towards the house, and it got into the large window that we have over the door. The water got into the caulking and sat there, so we had a mildew smell. We called a company and said we had a smell and we didn't know where it was. The company said I should take pictures and send them to them. Mickey was here doing the painting, and I told him about the mildew and he took pictures, and I got reimbursed. Mickey did an excellent job of cutting away, and there was one place that was covered in Mildew and he replaced that. He is a Jack of all trades. He was extremely prompt. They were walking in the door when they said they would be here.

You have a really good feeling about them being in the home, and that is very important to house owners. They were prompt and thorough. Every time we have had them has just been outstanding.

They were extremely good at what they did and they were very talented painters. They were very conscientious and very specific about making sure that everything was done properly and the paint was where it was supposed to be. The people were very nice and communicative. They cleaned up every day after work. If they had any plastic sheeting or anything like that, they took it down and then replaced it the next day so it's not in the way. They swept and vacuumed up anything and cleaned up all their drop clothes and folded and put them in corner. I am very picky about paints because I used to do it and they matched my expectations of being very good. The drywall that had to be taken out and replaced, you can't even tell where it was done.

Julie and her brother did a wonderful job on our house. They arrived on time, worked all day, cleaned up after they finished and are very professional and polite. They had to paint over trim that had been stained and I was afraid the paint would not stick. They sanded and primed the trim before they covered it with 2 coats of paint. I could not have been happier with the final product. They also had to patch a couple of places in the ceiling where we had walls removed. Since the ceilings were stippled, they had to try and match the pattern. When they were finished with the ceilings I was shocked at how good the pattern matched the original ceiling. The drywall work they did turned out beautiful. The wall they had to drywall had a big bow in it, but after Mickey finished, the bow was no longer visable and just vanished. We were so impressed with the first job, we called them back to do more work. They have not yet finished this next job, but so far this job is going as good as the first one. We have had a few scheduling challenges (because of our delays) and Julie has been so understanding and easy to work with. I will submit a new review after they finish this next job but I expect the next review will be pretty much the same as this one. I am so happy I found F and D Renovations!! I just think you can't go wrong by hiring them. Julie and Mickey came back and preformed more services for us. They painted our entire house, repaired the drywall in several places in the ceiling and on a couple of walls. As I expected, they did a wonderful job. Everything turned out beautiful, they arrived on time, worked hard, and cleaned up after themselves. I can only say that Julie and Mickey have our respect and admiration for their work ethics. I would certainly use Julie and Mickey if I ever need any kind of work like this done in the future. They also painted a couple of rooms for my brother and he too was very pleased with the job they did and had only good things to say about their work.
