The stone work was excellent. It included both front and back of the house. The pointing is even with attention to details of finishing around downspouts and gutters. Stone was cut to fit where it had fallen off or configuration of stones needed to be different. The detailing around the deck door is also excellent. The molding was cut to fit and match the remaining woodwork. It looks like wood and you cannot tell the difference in shape, size or color. The job was done a week ahead of time!!!!!!! We have used Mr. Hewitt's services (Bushy Ridge) before and were equally pleased at that time. Mr. Hewitt is a genuinely nice, caring man and goes the extra mile to be helpful.
Description of Work: Mr. Hewitt provided services to point the stone facing to my house and repair and add any stones that had fallen or were missing. Additionally, services were provided to replace the molding around the sliding deck door where squirrels had chewed the wood.

Description of Work: They dug under our front porch and installed proper footers. The porch and |the roof were beginning to sag and were off by 2-3 inches. We were given a start date and they didn't show. A couple days later I called to see why they hadn't come -- and they came out that very day, hence the "B" in one category. From that time on they were exactly on time, were helpful, professional and caring. I would absolutely use them again and intend to.

Job well done. Finished in time proposed and on budget.
Description of Work: JAck up porch. Level the sinking porch. dig new footers. pour concrete footers. replace porch support posts
Bushy Ridge Contractors were considerate of my physical limitations when they replaced the porch. They made sure I had safe, easy access at all times. All the workers were respectful of my property, privacy and courteous to my family and neighbors who frequently stopped to watch and ask questions. We began the job in the fall, so weather and flu season played a part in the and quot;Band quot;grade for punctuality. However, the majority of the workers, showed up on time and ready to work. We opted for maintenance free materials, sod instead of seed, the additional upper roof, high end doors and a few other add ons to the original contract, so it was more expensive than we originally planned, but that was our choice and well worth the additional expense. The work they did has given our home a much needed facelift and offers easy access for handicap. When the sidewalk was put in, fill dirt was also brought in to raise the front yard to the same level as the sidewalk providing better drainage. We no longer have to deal with puddles and mud in the walkway. We had a vision for the addition, but since we had never done anything like this before, we didn't think about all the small details. The owner of Bushy RIdge Contractors, Jim Hewitt, was extremely helpful with suggestions. People who had never been here before the addition was built, have commented that it looks like it was part of the original house (vinyl siding is a perfect match and the front door and the laundry room door match). Family, neighbors and friends have all said the porch and addition have transformed the house
Description of Work: Initially, I explained to the owner that I needed handicap accessibility between the front door and driveway and wanted to build a two level addition off the kitchen for laundry and storage. He had excellent suggestions and the end result is BEYOND my expectations. My old wobbly ramp, to get off the termite ridden front porch, and uneven stepping stones to the driveway, have been replaced by a beautiful wrap around porch and concrete sidewalk, which allow easy access for all. There is also access from the driveway to the side section of the porch via 3 low-rise steps which allows easy access to the new laundry/mud room. Since we were roofing the new porch and addition, we decided to replace the 24 year old roof on the rest of the house too. Bushy Ridge Contractors excavated, installed drainage, and then built a basement level storage room under my new, main floor laundry/mudroom. Drainage was added around the house, as needed, to get rid of the mud and puddles. Bushy Ridge had all the necessary licensed contractors for electrical and plumbing work, roofing, and carpentry. My yard has never taken seed well, so we decided to replace the sparse grass with sod when the addition was completed.
