It was a good experience. The gentleman that came out was really nice. He was pretty straightforward. He said honestly I will give you a quote I don't know you are going to like it he said you be better off to honestly do this yourself he said it is something I can do, but he was really straight forward. He give really good advice. He talked sense and because you felt like spending money with him would be a waste, which was really nice to hear. He was nice. He is prompt. All in all it was really a good experience. We had something that we are going to do a construction for. We had a lot of bits and pieces of project, not complete project.

Work was done better than expected. Work was done on schedule and at a reasonable price. I would definitely use this contractor again. Great work!

Troy did what he promised, kept me informed and solved the inevitable complications that arose. He did the work quickly, and in a cost effective and conscientious manner. Everything was cleaned up and hauled off before completion. My wife and I are very pleased with the result.

Troy-Bilt-Construction were very professional, arrived on time, returned calls promptly, and did an OUTSTANDING job for me. It turned out that renovating a 60 year old home is not easy -- the old dishwasher (unbeknownst to me since I hadn't used it in years) had leaked and the cabinets were damaged. In addition, the plumbing under the sink was a mess and needed to be replaced. (The plumber who came to repair the pluming issues were in total agreement with Troy's assessment of the situation.) At the timeTroy discovered the issues, he promptly fixed what he could at that time, advised me how to proceed with the plumber, and ensured there would be no more leaks until the plumber could come. He spent extra time on the job the first day just to ensure everything was OK and nothing was leaking. A plumber came the next morning and fixed the plumbing issues then Troy came as soon as I called him to finish the job. He and his crew finished installing the counter tops, added a few touches to make them look better, and did such a professional job you can't even see where the sealants are. He is very conscientious, wants to ensure the job he does is the best it can be, and I would definitely call him again for any work I need done.

Called Troy and he returned my call the next day. Came by and gave me price for work and said he would be able to do job in a few days, which was fine. Kept in touch with me and when he arrived the work took less than two days to complete. Work was good, workers were good and everything came out all okay.

I had another contractor "fix" my roof but, didn't do a good job at all. It still leaked, just in a slightly different place. I found Troybuilt through Angie's list and called them. Troy was very helpful and came over the next day. He quoted me a price on the roof work that suited me and stuck to it even though he found much more damage after he started. I have since called him several times. He is always on time with very fair prices. Troybuilt is definitely the best contractor on the planet!! I am going to have him manage my rental property too!

When the man (Gene Strother) arrived, he knew what he was doing. Electricity is something I am frightened of, but this man was very reassuring taking proper precautions as he went about his work. He did not create any mess and he cleaned up when he was finished. After installing the plug and lamp, he took the time to show me how to operate the lamp since it had several features to it. I am thrilled with his work and glad that I found him thanks to Troy. I would definitely call him again if I need any electrical work and if I need anything done to my deck, or my house in general I will first contact Troy-Bilt Consturction.

We contacted Troy Woodward, whom we have used in the past. We needed some work done at our "new" house on short notice. We called Troy because we have used him to our great satisfaction in the past. He was able to come on fairly short notice, completed everything we needed to do efficiently, and totally cleaned up the area afterwards. As always - great job by Troy!!

I signed up for Angies List in the area and scheduled to have 3 contractors from Angies List meet us at the property on a Saturday to give their recommendations on how to repair the deck and make it safe. Basically the hand rails were dangerously loose and since the deck was on the second story it definitely needed to be repaired. To add to the complications of the solution, there were 2 shed like structures underneath the deck that added another level of difficulty. One contractor called us and said he couldn't come due to an emergency. The other contractor sent out a representative that didn't have any ideas on how to fix the problem and we basically told him what we thought would work. But he was supposed to be the one telling us what we needed to do. Then there was Troy Bilt Construction. Troy Woodward thoroughly investigated the problem, and discovered that part of the framing was done incorrectly and that is why the handrails were coming unsecure. With his construction experience he was able to know how to properly fix the problem. His price was very reasonable. He did the work, sent us pictures of the completed project. He recommended that we also pressure wash and seal the deck so that it's lifetime would be extended. He gave us a very reasonable price and we authorized the additional work to be done. He sent us pictures of the work. The deck looks fabulous! We are very impressed with Troy's knowledge, experience and professionalism and will definitely be using him on any other projects at this property that arise and are part of his areas of expertise. From start to finish went great! Thats why I always use Troy~Bilt~ for all my projects! Troy remodeled 1 of my bath rooms with new vanity and granite top all new hardware throughout He Installed new ceramic on floors had to do some framing and drywall work and than he painted and Installed new lighting! Troy also Installed all new windows in my home and I love the way they look with all new trim. Troy also waterproof my basement with Dry-Lock. Troy is the best I love the way he runs his jobs and his craftsmanship is outstanding!

Troy was wonderful from start to finish. The project was done in a timely fashion and he really listened to what our family wanted. He was always professional and prompt. Everyone associated with this project provided stellar service.

Troy is great to work with! His price was very reasonable (and we did have other bids!), he kept us informed about his schedule, and he and his assistant worked through those 100+ degree days we had this summer. They were careful to clean up after themselves, including an effort to restore the grass around the new posts. The deck is stunning, and we will definitely call Troy back for other work....especially if there is a bit of challenge to it!

I live in Spokane, WA and own this property in Elkton, VA. The property is rented. I was back there last year and fould the house in need of some repair.Being so far away I was concerned about finding a good contractor to do the work. I contacted Angies list in the area and found Troy listed. I contacted Troy by phone and set up a time to meet with him when I would be in VA. I visited the area in May of 2012, met Troy, we visited the house and he got estimates together on the work to be performed before I left the area to return to Spokane.I felt very comfortable with everything and signed the contract for the work to be done. Knowing I would not see the completed work except in pictures until I return in October, I felt comfortable with what had been decided.The work is now complete, pictures look great and I am satisfied with Troy's performance. I will use his services again when I decide on the next steps to take at the house.

Troy is a pleasure to work with. From the first time I spoke with him, Troy was completely accommodating to our situation. (We had to immediately schedule repairs on a house we were buying to satisfy the conditions of our loan. The house is occupied with tenants so we had to work around their schedules.) He offered to come the day following our call or any day that week because he understood that we were in a time crunch. Troy arrived at the site exactly when he said he would, promptly got to work, and was finished in less time than he had anticipated. It was nice to have a bill less than our estimate. This was a small job in comparison with the other work performed by Troy-Bilt Construction. But that didn't change Troy's interest in making sure I was pleased with the work and working with my schedule.

On Monday, April 2, Troy came out and fixed my trailer skirting problem so that I will never have to worry about it again. He fixed it and I must say, it looks so nice. I was not here when he came, but one would not know he was here except the skirting was where it was suppose to be and no mess. It looked great and if one looked at it, one would never know I had a problem. As I approached my front door, it was fixed. Before, the framing was coming off and I could not close the screen door. The wind would constantly blow it open. I had tried to fix it and made a mess of it. But when Troy came, he cleaned up my mess without comment and fixed the door frame so that it not only looks great, but closes and stays closed. I am so amazed - he is a professional and a very down to earth individual. I am so glad that I found Troy and his company.

It went well. There were no leaks. Troy is a great guy to work with to get stuff done for the house, and his prices are very good.

My wife and I were more than completely pleased with the work provided by Troy Woodward and his remakrable, professional, and courteous crew. WE have introduced them to several of our friends who have decided to use them as well. This has been without a doubt the best experience we have had with a service provider.
