I hired Jovel to build stairs, retaining walls and planters connecting my existing patio to a new patio that I also hired Jovel's company to build. The stairs, retaining wall and planters were completed in September. In October, I had a licensed inspector at my home for another project and he pointed out that the stairs Jovel had built did not meet code. The inspector stated that stairs must be of equal rise and the lower and upper stairs were not in acceptable range with the other two. He also stated that three or more stairs required a handrail and that the stairs were POOR construction. Jovel has refused to correct the issue or refund any money paid. Jovel and team are great! We communicated in advance about existing materials and supplies that we can use and timing to do the work. Jovel was very responsive! The team came early, worked diligently and checked in with us periodically to make sure we’re all on the same page. The attention to detail, precision and level of professionalism is unparalleled. Can’t wait for them to work on the next phase of our backyard build out!

There were delays due to shortages of materials, but Aldo kept me informed all along the way. They worked hard and I have a beautiful stamped concrete patio!
