The Tough Builders team was absolutely amazing! I am finishing our basement and added a shower, toilet, sink and injector pump and Hector and his team from Tough Builders did just awesome job. Not only did they have to move/reframe walls, relocate electrical work and plumb the bathroom to the pump, they did so much more. This is best team I have could have chosen and we are so happy with the work they did. I cannot say enough about Tough Builders and in fact, they will be the ones that finish our basement out. I look forward to seeing our basement finished and the next review I will submit pictures. If you need any work done to your house, I would highly recommend Tough Builders! 5+ stars!!! We recently hired Tough Builders to step in and save our home renovation project. Some projects we started but we were not able to finish, like cabinet installation. Others had mistakes that needed correcting, such as LVP flooring, while some, like installing a vanity, we hadn’t tackled at all. Just a few days after reaching out to Tough Builders, they visited our home to provide a quote. During the walkthrough, they took the time to understand our vision and reassured us that they could handle everything with ease. Their confidence, professionalism, and clear explanations immediately impressed us. We quickly decided to hire them, and within a week, they got started. The entire renovation took about a week, during which they efficiently completed multiple projects while maintaining excellent communication. Anytime we had a question or concern, they addressed it promptly. What amazed us most was their ability to fix our previous mistakes—you’d never know we had attempted (and failed at) several of these projects ourselves. With more renovations planned in the coming months, Tough Builders will be our first call. Not once did we feel taken advantage of, and their honesty, craftsmanship, and professionalism are truly rare. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

The deck installation went very well. I was completely satisfied with the quality work provided by Hector and his crew. Want to put Alvaro in the spotlight as he was the one who built the deck and put a divider that I requested. It was a beautiful job, the pride of my neighborhood. It was definitely a work of art, Alvaro was very meticulous and was very articulate in all the details. Magnificent job, and I'm so glad I hired Tough Builders to do my deck. The modern version of “You get what you pay for” is more accurately phrased “You don’t get what you don’t pay for.” You might find a lower price for your project, but you won’t find a better value than Tough Builders. Our project was a complete bathroom overhaul. Mr. Hector Vasquez, Tough Builders Project Manager, came to our home before demolition to discuss scope and take measurements. He listened to us as we described the materials and effects we wanted to create. As we discussed options, Mr. Vasquez took careful notes to ensure an accurate proposal that specified important details, including what materials, what fixtures, who would procure which items, and on what schedule. Following separate demolition, Tough Builders took over the space with sheathing on the walls, raw subflooring, and no ceiling. We discovered that the selected sink and toilet would require significant plumbing modifications since modular housing often takes shortcuts such as routing plumbing through the floor instead of the walls. Mr. Vasquez accurately scoped the required work and submitted a change proposal to cover the labor and materials. Everything was up front and approved before the modification work started. No surprises. The sequencing of work was very well-planned. The right workers with the right skills arrived on time and prepared to work. The plumbing was corrected with minimal interruption to our water service. The wall boards were installed precisely and sealed exceptionally well in the shower enclosure area. The paint team spent the time to ensure that the surfaces to be painted were smooth and free of any defects. The shower tiles were precisely squared and well anchored. The flooring and fixtures went in last and brought an already beautiful space to life. Every single craftsman who came into our home worked diligently, quietly, and professionally. They respected our home and our family as the project progressed. Each team thoroughly cleaned the inside work area, the outside preparation area, and the path from one to the other. Every single person from Tough Builders was respectful, courteous, and trustworthy. They answered questions when asked and offered opinions when requested. We were completely confident in the quality of the work that was being done. Tough Builders puts in the extra effort to ensure their customers are delighted with the finished project.

During the planning and budgeting for our deck, I consulted with three different companies and Tough Builders Inc was one of them. I’m so glad I chose them! My experience with Tough Builders Inc throughout the deck project was amazing. They were honest about the cost, the guidelines, designs, and workers performance. During the inspection, the inspector repeatedly mentioned that “you don’t see fine craftsmanship and quality work as this now a days”. I agree with him whole heartedly! Tough builders did a great job creating a beautiful basement full bathroom for us. They were very professional and arrived early ready to work. We also needed deck stairs added to our existing composite deck. So glad we met Hector.

Tough Builders completely transformed my townhouse's kitchen bringing it from the 80s when the house was built into the current century on a tight budget! They also did a great job painting the interior of my home. Their crew was always on time, professional and worked hard to get the job done in a timely manner. Hector and Isaias were the best to work with and anticipated my needs in this work. I only wish I had heard of them before I had the flooring done. Smooth process from beginning to end. Estimate broke down the work to be done as well as the cost in great detail so there would be no confusion. The work went fast and smooth and was of good quality for a good price. They are VERY knowledgeable and answered any questions about the work as well as potential work in the future. Very flexible and willing to take on additional tasks that came up in the course of the project. Again, very transparent in regards to cost. After the project was complete, there was one issue to be fixed, but they were quick to come and rectify the problem. I would definitely recomment Tough Builders.

Hector and his crew were great. We had some delays getting materials and Hector waited with us the entire time. His communication is great. We bought doors and he installed them and built them in. Now I have privacy in my office while working from home. They look like they were supposed to be there. He matched the moldings perfectly. Can't wait to have him back to do our next project. Excellent. Hector installed vinyl flooring in a small room. My wife and I were completely satisfied with the work, that we are hiring him again for a much bigger job in our basement. What I liked the most is that Hector shows up early and completed the job in a record time. BTW he will install three storm doors for me tomorrow. Hector’s company can be relied upon to get the job done. Hire Hector if you want it done right!
