Drain got clogged on a Sunday. Called around. Shreve was one of the few to answer the line Sunday eve. The on call technician said, ''If you can wait till tomorrow, it will cost you 1/2 the price!'' Next day at 7am sharp we got a call from their schedulers. At 4pm we had a plumber, at 5pm the drain was clear! Paid $200 for 1 hour of work (50ft snake job, could not have done it myself). It seems stiff, but had just paid $275 for a similar task on a different drain a few months earlier. Their pricing is $45 for the service call, and $35 per .25 hour of work.

The plumber, James, came swiftly on a Saturday morning to fix a major leak in our whirlpool tub drain. He quickly assessed the problem (the drain was not tight enough due to poor installation (done by a competing company). He also quickly repaired several other odds and ends throughout the house (replacing sink drain, gave me a new aerator for the sink, cleaned the drain for our tub, and assessed a key problem with a water heater). Throughout the work it was clear James knew exactly what he was doing and even explained numerous aspects of his work to me while he was here. It was a pleasure to hire them, although they are about 10% more expensive than the competition.

Clog appeared Monday night. We tried to remove it ourselves with a plunger but no luck. Found Shreve on Angie's List. Had high ratings, called and left a message. Within a few hours, had received a call back and a plumber was on the way! He came, did his work and was done in less than an hour. Also gave us advice for avoiding clogs in future. Who knew starchy food debris is the worst for clogs? We do now!

They arrived on time, surveyed the job and finished it in about 90 minutes or so. This was the day before Thanksgiving. The day AFTER Thanksgiving I noticed that the water supply line was leaking just a little (not seriously). I called customer support, and they had the plumber out first thing on Monday. Ten minutes was all it took. The toilet is a BIG improvement over the older one. It even comes with an instruction manual!

I felt it took a long time (nearly 10 days from the first visit) and there was some confusion over how much the job cost. I felt there was a lack of communication between the field people and home base.

It was routine work that went without a hitch. Before leaving, they provided advice on a product that could be used to prevent the build up of mineral deposits that apparently caused the problem in the first place.

Put on hold three times. Person who did scheduling was difficult to understand and seemed very disinterested in what she does. Was able to schedule an appointment within 1-2 days.

Everything went very well. The plumber arrived when scheduled and quickly assessed what work needed to be done. When I decided to replace an old toilet instead of having it repaired, he went back to his shop and returned with a new toilet within the hour.

Arrived very quickly, promptly assessed and fixed the problem.

Price way too high for work. I will not be using them.

Plumbers were pleasant and professional, arrived on time and cleaned up.

The technician was prompt and courteous. Did a neat job although ran into typical problems with 50yr old plumbing. I've used this company several times over the last 40 years. It is pricey but it's employees are excellent.

Very professional and responsive. After plumbing was inspected they returned to make a change to the tub drain that was requested by the inspector.

Ty, the plumber who did the work, was excellent. Arrived on time, worked quickly and effectively. He did a great clean up afterwards, leaving the bathroom cleaner that when he got there. Would definitely hire again.

I love this company. They were honest, fast, did an excellent job and it was all at a very reasonable price. And, they didn't even laugh at my predicament.

The plumber, Allan, showed up at the very end of the 8-12 time window specified. He was pleasant, chatty, and very professional in his work. He left the job site clean and neat. What a pleasure to watch a true professional go about his trade!
