Kevin is fantastic to work with, fair with his pricing, and very communicative. Projects of this size never go 100% according to plan, but he managed the issues well and worked out solutions to either redo areas that had issues, or fine adjustments to ensure the quality was what we expected. The end product was a fantastic quality detached garage that matched our homes color scheme and style. We will definitely be working with Kevin again on future projects!

This is our second time working with Kevin and he is absolutely fantastic to work with. During Covid he built us a 2 car detached garage and we had such a great experience that when we decided to finish our basement we didn't call anyone else. Kevin met with us and provided us a quote to finish our basement and we decided right then that we were ready to move forward. Kevin was very professional and thorough and always kept us informed of our basement project every step of the way. Whenever we would have any questions he was very prompt with getting back to us and answering our questions. He started on our basement on time and finished on time. The family room area looks amazing. He had great ideas for a snack bar that we hadn't thought about and are so glad that we ended up adding it. It's so nice now to be watching tv and be able to walk over to the snack bar and grab a soda out of the fridge or put a bag of popcorn in the microwave and not have to run upstairs. The granite counter top for the snack bar looks great! We also added two cabinets and fridge under the counter. We also had a full bathroom added and the tile work turned out amazing. The whole bathroom looks great! When Kevin saw our basement and all my holiday decor and craft supplies he realized that I really needed a place to organize and store all this stuff. He was able to build me a closet that maximized the space and I was able to get all my "stuff" in there. We are looking at remodeling our master bathroom and kitchen in a couple years and we won't be wasting our time looking for any other contractors. Kevin will be the person we call.

Absolutely wonderful! He was very nice as was all the staff he also had working on site. He was communicative on all aspects of the process. Job was done very well and he kept any and all renovated parts of the basement up to city code. Any issues we had with the finished product was completed to our satisfaction. Kevin was absolutely fantastic to work with. We wanted to have a 2 car detached garage built and he gave us exactly what we wanted. We gave him our budget (this was right before Covid and then a few weeks later Covid hit) and because of Covid-19 the prices of lumber went up and I'm quite confident that he absorbed a lot of the cost to keep us within our budget. He walked us through every step of the process. He always kept us informed of when there would be deliveries made to our house or if him and his crew would be here working on any given day. He always answered our text/questions within hours, or at the latest the next day. He started and finished our garage in a timely manner. He was able to match the roof and siding to match our house exactly even with the house being 10 years old. We plan on hiring him to finish our basement sometime next year. We have total and complete confidence in KOB, LLC.

The crew at KOB were fantastic. Any time that ANYTHING strayed from the original plan (which it always does), Kevin was quick to come up with an alternate plan. I would and will be re-hiring these guys when it comes time for a stamped patio or anything else for that matter.

Kevin O’Brien and his Team of Professionals provided outstanding quality work during the remodel of my basement. It went really well! Kevin came to the house and looked at everything. Gave great advice to the direction we should go. He made some recommendations we hadn't thought of. His team came in on time as scheduled and were very neat and curtious. Kevin talked to us everyday and showed us the progress. We asked for a couple additional things and he adjusted without any issues. They were started and finished as scheduled and everything was done as agreed.

Very well! The whole process, which involved removing the old ceramic tile and the cement- like chunks underneath it, putting in new sub- flooring, and then laying porcelain tiles, took 4 days. Kevin picked up the tiles from the tile store as well as the 2 new toilets I’d chosen. They did a superb job and cleaned up after work each day. I would definitely hire Kevin and his team again!

Kevin did a great job in my first home’s basement, when I moved and need remodeling and basement done again I called him and had him do it. Having him do another project in the basement this month as well.

Kevin and his guys did a fantastic job! He was in constant communication with me to make sure everything was being done the way we wanted it to be. He assured me that if we ever needed them to come back to make modifications for my daughter as she grew, they would be there. Kevin and his crew did a fantastic job gutting our downstairs bathroom, floor, shower, light fixture, vanity and even installed the new shower doors, He and his crew were always on time and worked around our work schedule. We we so satisfied we hired him to repaint our finished basement level.

I hired Kevin O'Brien to complete 3 lengthy projects for our home. We had our 1300 sq ft. basement finished, a 3rd bathroom installed and a 2.5 car garage constructed. All of these projects were performed at different times. What I love the most is the fair price. We told Kevin what we had to spend and he made it happen. If he needed more for whatever reason I trusted his reasoning. All of the projects were done in a timely manner. If I had a follow up question, he would come by the house and gladly answer all of my questions. I would hire Kevin again in a heartbeat.

We paid Mr. O'Brien (Kevin) an initial deposit on 11/13/13 f to build a deck. He was supposed to start and be finished by mid-December, however, we did not hear from him until after several calls, I finally agreed that he could start after Christmas. Again, we did not hear from him until I called to let him know that if he did not return my call and give me a firm start date, he would have to issue a refund to my credit card, that is when his contractors started to build the deck. The deck was completed on 1/16/14 however, after my husband and I carefully inspected it, we found several problems. One very obvious was the embedded red clay that was not cleaned during the building process which caused the clay to discolor the deck flooring. Mr. O'brien was to come back on 1/17 for the final inspection however, he never showed nor did he call. Mr. O'brien charged the final payment to my credit card without the final inspection with us, which we did ourselves and found several problems, however Mr. O'Brien charged the final payment to my credit card WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION. I sent Mr. O'Brien several emails telling him that he had to remove the unauthorized charge, he did not contact me until 1/20/14 by email stating that he had an emergency "christening??" out of town. In the meantime, I initiated a dispute with my credit card company for the final unauthorized payment. We agreed to meet with Mr. O'Brien to discuss the problems that we had found with the deck. During this meeting I informed Mr. O'Brien that I would cancel the dispute once he completed the repairs, he never called or showed up to make the needed repairs, nor did he respond to my credit card company's inquiry therefore, my credit card company decided in my favor and credited my account. On 10/17/14, Mr. O'Brien resubmitted the charge thru his Square account under the name Kevin O'Brien, instead of KOB,LLC, which I had blocked from posting any charges to my card. I am now disputing this same charge again with a different company name. We never signed a contract or the proposal, because he never presented a contract, and I would not have signed a contract since we had problems initially. Mr. O'Brien's contractors did a fair to good job on our deck however, my concern is that Mr. O'Brien failed to inspect their work and he wasn't here most of the time during the building process nor he did make the repairs that we discussed with him on 1/17/14. Finally, Mr. O'Brien submitted charges to my credit card company for the second time that I did not authorize almost a year later. Lesson learned, do not let any company write down your credit card number "because he forgot his card reader".
