The annual safety inspection for my 2001 Toyota Tacoma truck was due in January 2016. I had the inspection conducted at the state certified inspection station less than 2 miles from my home. I have used this auto repair facility for years and they know me well. However, because of the extensive rust and the holes it causedin the undercarriage of the truck, they could not provide me the safety certificate I needed to perform the annual registration required by the State of Va. Whenever I'm in a fix-it pickle, I always turn to Angies List and here is where I found "Bobby's World Welding Service" right here in Stafford. I called him, told him the problem, and asked if he could repair it. He gave a positive response and asked if I could bring it to his house the next day. I did, he assessed the damage and stated it would be no problem to repair it permanently so that I would not have a rust issue with the undercarriage of the truck. He provided an estimate of $700.00. Based on the photos the inspector took and my own look-see, I thought the estimate was pretty reasonable. Less than 96 hours later, he had the truck repaired. I picked it up and after I looked at it, it was almost impossible to tell that there had been so much rust and the holes had disappeared. It was fantastic work. I took it back to the inspection station, the inspector took one look at it, and immediately completed the paperwork certifying the safety of my vehicle. The truck rides perfectly and I have no qualms about the quality of work. Overall, what could have been a show-stopper for continued use of the vehicle was instantly overcome by Mr. Dunmire's skill, professionalism, and prompt work. I cannot provide a strong enough recommendation for Mr. Dunmire.

Met Bobby at his welding shop (his home garage) after work for the repair. He offered to come to my house to perform the repair, but I preferred to take the part to him for the repair. He repaired the riding lawn mower cutting deck quickly at a fair and reasonable price. Not only did he weld the broken part back on, he welded a bead around the similar part to prevent it from breaking off.
