In retrospect, I would have appreciated Mr. Arrington being more frank about whether his company was right for my size project. He was always responsive to my contacts, and he was patient in the consultation process leading to providing the formal estimate. In the end, through a friend I was able to find another general contractor who performs a significant amount of each project himself, allowing him to provide me more value for my budget. As of this writing, the project is still under way.

The interaction was good. I don't have anything negative to say about them. He is prompt and seemed reasonable.

A GREAT JOB BY A CONTRACTOR WITH INTEGRITY. When we built our home, we ran out of money before we could customize our master bath. It was now time. We asked our local plumber and never even received an estimate. We had used Kilbere for some deck painiting and so called him. We described what we wanted and off he went. The design he submitted took in to account the contemporary style of our home and our preference for wood type and stains. Topics we had not even discussed when we asked for the estimate. He also provided a design to cost approach. When we needed tp scale back, he preserved the essence of what we wanted to do at a cost we could live with. We selected the tub and faucet from a website Kilber recommended and the rest is history. The job started on time and finished within a week of initial estimate. They took extra precautions to limit the spread od dust, etc., and cleaned up at the end of every day. His iversight of the subs was exceptional and it was obvious they liked working with him. He even refunded the rebate on the tub when it came in 10% less than website price. His proposals show alll the costs - there are no hidden fees. Even his overhead is right up front. That is a degree of integrity that is rare! And as icing on the cake, he repaired a crack in the wall board in our family room caused by the house settling - at no cost.

We had Arrington Capital Improvements complete two jobs for us. The first job entailed replacing our rotting deck posts. Right off the bat I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail. The estimate was very detailed and went item by item to show where exactly what our money would be going to (i.e. materials, labor, estimated time of completion, etc.) Kilber and his co-worker showed up promptly every morning and immediately started working. And they worked the WHOLE day! I remember specifically asking if they stopped to eat lunch (because I never saw them stop), and Kilber replied, "I eat a big breakfast.". They actually finished ahead of schedule. During the process if modifications needed to be made to the estimate, Kilber immediately sent us a change order outlining exactly what was being modified. For example, halfway through the job we decided we wanted our lower deck replaced as well. Kilber immediately had a change order detailing the modifications to our estimate. Kilber was very transparent and kept us informed throughout the entire process. His professionalism and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. We were so happy with the quality of work that we hired him to replace our front door a few months later. Not surprisingly, we had the same positive experience. The consistency in the quality of work, professionalism, and attention to detail impressed us the most. If we ever are in a position to remodel our house, we will definitely be using them again!
