Description of Work: We requested an estimate from Aqueduct. They set up an appointment with us very quickly. We were impressed with their assessment and what they said about how they handle their jobs. Their references and Angie's List ratings were excellent. We hired them to do waterproofing work in our basement. The work has been scheduled for next week.

Description of Work: They install a pressure relief system w sump pump because I had water come throw the foundation and wall. | |The crew that came out was awesome. There was a dad and 2 sons who have been working in this company since the 80's. They were friendly, hardworking and really fast. I had a few chats with them and they were really friendly. They even did some of the work that I was supposed to do but had not been able to because of lack of tools. The crew didn't complain once and took care of it. Cant say enough about that crew! | |I had 5 different estimates on this job and Aqueduct was the most reasonable. I had been living in fear anytime it rained and now Im looking forward to a heay storm to see this system in action!

All exterior trenching was done by hand instead of using a trencher, which would have been far faster, simply to reduce the damage to the lawn; they put the quality of the product ahead of the profit margin. The work in the crawl space went beyond my expectations both in terms of what they did and the quality of how they did it. The dehumidifier was provided at a cost significantly below what I would have been able to procure it for on my own (believe me, I checked) plus they installed it with no additional fee simply because they believed the space needs one. John, the owner of the company, acted as both the estimator that came out to price it and as the single-point-of-contact for all further work decisions and pricing. He was very responsive via both email and phone. Paulo, the foreman on-site, was very respectful and communicative, discussing everything they were doing and ensuring I understood what was going on prior to doing any work. He and his crew worked efficiently and without disruption; they cleaned up the areas of their work very well prior to departing the last day of the project. I would absolutely recommend these guys to anyone needing any sort of waterproofing work done.
Description of Work: Install downspout/gutter drain lines underground, running from downspouts to public storm-drain system at the perimeter of property. - Total 378 linear feet of buried downspout lines. Waterproof Crawl space; install Sump Pump in Crawl Space where no existing system was present. - Remove failed crawl space vapor barrier - Trench out the crawl space around foundation - Drill drain-holes in all foundation blocks - Install gravel in all trenches - Install sump pit - Install sump pump drain line through foundation - Encapsulate the entire crawl-space with 16+mil thick polymer vapor barrier - Connect sump pump drain line to exterior downspout lines installed above. Procure and install a dehumidifier, connecting drain to sump pit.
