The company was knowledgeable about a complex problem and proposed workable solutions different from other vendors. Quoted pricing was very competitive. Work was done on time in accordance with the contract. Although the contract provided for extra charges for unanticipated field conditions, none were assessed in spite of the fact that numerous unanticipated difficulties were encountered. The work team identified the problems without complaint or causing damage and found and implemented good solutions. I can't compliment the work crew enough for being professional, pleasant and extremely hard working.

I have a home that is just shy of 100 years old. To say it has a basement makes it sound better than it was as it was more like an old time large cellar complete with a well-room behind an old wooden door. Since the day the house was built, it has flooded with the least provocation and the only drain in the middle had been totally clogged for at least 80 yrs. I know all of this because it's been my family's home and now I'm the last to be here. The venting of the furnace and air conditioning has been pulling all of this wet, nasty air up for too many years to count and has caused many health problems. The only plus was that there was no black mold, but wet and nasty was the name of the game. I knew something had to be done and I knew it had to be done right. I studied different company profiles for over a year and it's amazing how many very well known companies had way too many complaints for my taste. I'd seen the name Aqueduct and saw there was never a complaint and nothing but raves, but they were working out of Northern Va and I'm in Richmond. The year went by and another storm hit hard and I could wait no longer. Surprise! Aqueduct was now working in Richmond, too, and I was thrilled. They answered my request immediately, Bill DiStasio came to my house the next day, did a thorough investigation, explained everything to me and I have to say, I've never been so impressed in my life. Within 2 days, I had an estimate emailed to me, detailing every single thing. I grabbed up the next available date for work to begin and they were right on time. These 2 men, David Cje and his uncle, Roberto, are the hardest working men I have ever seen, and yet they still took the time to show me each and every thing they were doing. This was a huge, huge job, and myself, being almost 70 could not move the things in the basement for them to work. They did it for me with never a complaint, only genuine warmth, caring, and goodness. This kind of work they do to waterproof a basement is over the top hard work and it's by hand. I could hardly believe my eyes! They took exceptional care of everything, did fabulous work, and at the end left it cleaner than they found it. I now have a giant battery back- up sump pump, a huge dehumidifier and not one thing is in the way. It's now 24 hours since completion and another huge rain storm happened last night, and there is not even one drop of water anywhere. I'm thrilled, my house is thrilled, my lungs are thrilled, and you can bet that I will be recommending Aqueduct LLC to everyone for the rest of my days. Had Aqueduct repair a leak in the basement. I got several quotes from other contractors, but ended up going with Aqueduct due to their expertise and material. Their price was very reasonable and they offered the most thorough repair of all the contractors I contacted. John and his crew were very knowledgable, organized, efficient and took great pride in their work. If I hadn't seen the work being done, I would never have known they had dug up the flower bed down 8 feet to the bottom of the foundation. I highly recommend Aqueduct, and I would definitely use them again.

Years ago, we had two leaks in our new home's basement, which our builder fixed with epoxy in the cracks. 12 years later, and no longer under a home warranty, one leak was back. John came out and explained that these kind of leaks need to be fixed from the outside, not the inside. His crew didn't mess up our yard with a backhoe, but dug down to the bottom of the foundation by hand (!!!) They repaired the crack then waterproofed the outside, then backfilled partially with gravel to keep the pressure off the basement wall. The crew worked very hard and were super nice. John made some other suggestions about waterproofing our home, which had settled over the years. I couldn't be more impressed.

I had a sump pump installed rather than basement drainage channels. The root problem to water efflorescence was caused by a water line break from curb to house. Advise customers to always have water lines checked first before extensive repair work.

THEY WERE GREAT. AT THE END OF EACH DAY, THEY CLEANED UP, THEY WERE ALWAYS ON TIME AND THE WORK LOOKED GREAT. THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY, I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE WHO HAS WATER PROBLEMS. VERY REASONABLE PRICE. I WAS NERVOUS ABOUT THE WORK TO BE DONE, BUT SO HAPPY WITH THE OUTCOME.
