Apple Appliance Service

Our 6 year old Whirlpool oven decided not to get up to temp. on New Years Day. We looked at new ranges and the one we decided on was $1000......I just couldn't let our oven go until I checked on possoble repair costs. Jerry at Apple took my model number and called me back with the cost of a new control unit.....We both agreed it was better to purchase a new oven.........Saved the time and cost of a service call. .....

Unable to fix. I appreciated the honesty.

I specified the times I would not be in the office. That's when they showed up. I wasn't on site, so can't speak to professionalism. Repair would be more expensive than a new fridge, so only charged for a service call.

They were quite good. Their price was reasonable. One person did the repair and it took him about half an hour to complete the service. He was very professional. It was a very good experience. This was my first time using them.

They were very responsive and emailed me back quickly. I would call them again if needed.

Jerry showed up within 2 hours of calling. Found the problem within 10 minutes, but had to go to Springfield to get the parts needed. Replaced the defrost heaters and the thermostat assembly and had everything cleaned up within 3.5 hours of first arriving. Most of my food was still salvageable - Thank you Jerry!

Jerry was fantastic! He came out the same day I called and fixed the problem in minutes as it turned out to be minor. He was timely, professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him and his company and will certainly call him again. With only 6 days to go until Christmas with 10 people coming to dinner -- I was a wreck! Jerry solved my problem quickly and effectively. I couldn't be happier!

He found that the previous service technicians that cleaned the vent did not completely remove items that were clogging the vent (a birds nets).

Called ahead and showed up on time, had the parts on hand and was in and out. Clean,fast and professional.

Gerald of Apple Appliance Services was awesome. I arrived to my parents house at 10am on a Saturday morning to find that their refrigerator was not working. Just about everything had melted. I called Apple Appliance because we used them last summer to fix the icemaker. I was thrilled that someone answered when I called and even more thrilled when he said he could come out in a couple of hours. He called just before he was on his way and he arrived in the time frame he said he would. Gerald is a nice, professional gentleman. He found that the circuit board was bad and he was able to replace it. He spent a total of a half hour and the price was $300. I would absolutely use him again. He was a lifesaver!

It went ok. Dishwashers come with an outter "wrap" of insulation. This dsihwasher was a little difficult to get into the space (same size as the old dishwasher), so he just shoved the insulation into the area. In retrospect, I wish I had said something, but he acted like he just wanted to get out of here. The dishwasher works just fine.

Provider was quick to respond and set up appointment. Original appointment determined that a replacement part was needed. Second appointment, he had a part, but was sent the wrong one. Came back the next day with the correct part and everything works great. Wasn't charged anything until all was complete. Highly recommended.

I called and left a message. The call was returned in under an hour. We agreed on an appointment windows in two days. He also asked what type of refrigerator/freezer they had because there are certain ones he doesn't have parts for. We have a GE so we knew it wouldn't be a problem. He arrived within the appointment window. The part to replace it, plus labor was $300. I asked my mom and dad how it went. They are both deaf and they said he was very nice and professional. He came in, looked at my refrigerator and said it needed a new motor and I would be better off buying a new one. Charged me $150!

Gerry was very prompt. He was able to come the afternoon of the day I called. He had the piece to fix my washer and did it quickly. He inspected my fridge seals, told me they were okay and not really worth replacing even if they were bad due to the age of the fridge. He chose not to charge me the $20 for the fridge inspection. He evaluated the stove top coils and dishwasher latch and called me back later that day or the next with quotes to fix them. I chose not to have him fix them because my husband could do the stove top and the dishwasher was old enough we decided to simply replace it instead. I have his magnet on my fridge and will keep him in mind for future repairs.

My experience with Apple Appliance Service was okay. I thought my refrigerator was on the fritz, but they told me it wasn't. They were all business. There was no chit-chat. He walked in, checked the fridge. There was nothing wrong, and he walked out. He didn't say "Buy me a drink" or nothing. It was just wham, bam, thank you ma'am.

They were great. They couldn't repair it. They charged me for parts and I thought I would have to buy a new refrigerator. I've used them previously oustide of Angie's List. They're very professional and honest with me. It was great. They've been doing it for a very long time. They spent 25 years worth of time doing it. I could tell just by his demeanor. He seemed to be just about everything and it wasn't a big deal for him. He actually went through the extra effort. He tried to rebuild the refigerator where the ice compartment on the door was loose. It was giving icicles in there. It was forming icicles in the freezer. He finally just got the door flap replaced but they don't make it anymore. He actually could fix it but they just didn't make the part in the market. He wasn't exactly responsive maybe because he was busy. He got back to me in a matter of tw days. I would use his services again in the future.

I called Apple Appliance to have my dryer repaired. It wasn't heating and after replacing the heating element, it still wasn't heating. I called on a Fri and Apple scheduled me for Monday. He showed up in the morning. He quickly ran one check and determined the problem. He also noted that the failure is normally caused by lint build up. He opened up an area that is not accessible and remove an significant amount of lint. Although I clean the lint trap with every load, I was amazed by the amount of lint. He could have simply replaced the broken parts, but he went beyond to look for a root cause to possibly avoid the problem again. He also carried the part on his truck and repaired the dryer in one visit.

Apple Appliance was in the vacinity and responded within 30 minutes. The problem was diagnosed quickly, and the parts were on hand. In addition, Apple replaced the vent connection at the back of the dryer as a courtesy. The service provider was both pleasant and professional, resolved the problem efficiently and effectively, and replaced an additional item as a courtesy. I highly recommend Apple Appliance.

He was great! Prompt, efficient, friendly, and answered all of my questions. He .told me what to do to get ready for him to come (i.e. turn off the AC and let the condenser unthaw) so that everything would be "ready to go" when he got here. That info was very helpful, to cut down on service time cost and my time, too.
