Mark was outstanding. I called and an appointment was immediately made. He came out on-time and ready for work. I explained that a burner was out on our kitchen island gas grille. It took less than a minute for him to figure what the problem was. The previous owner of the townhome we purchased was cleaning the grille and evidently a small piece of paper towel lodged that prevented the burner to turn on. He checked all the other burners and showed me some tips of the trade of self help techniques for the future. Mark is definitely on my go-to list for appliances. He was professional, honest, and did not try to add additional work to charge me. This type of person is hard to find but Angie's List helped with that and Mark was great. Thank you.

"Mark" showed up on time, as promised. I explained the refrigerator's strange behavior. Even though the appliance wasn't broken at that time (very sporadic behavior) he was able to diagnose the problem from my description, and I'm sure from his experience, and replace the necessary part. He actually used a non-manufacturer part to overcome poor design by the manufacturer. He explained why the after market part was better while he was installing it. The whole visit took 20 minutes and fixed a 2 year old issue that another appliance repair company, located here in Loudoun, wasn't able to diagnose.

Microwave above range stopped working. Technician came and determined was control panel. Technician agreed would be better not to fix and replace. Very reasonable charge. Will definitely call them again in the future.

Sometimes the simplest of repairs are the hardest to get done. The flexible tubing which carries lint and moist exhaust from the back of my clothes dryer to the connection to the venting duct in the wall that goes outside was constantly breaking or coming unconnected. My handyman had fixed it at least four times with materials from Home Depot, the usual made-in-China, cheap junk. When it broke the last time and lint started flying all over my laundry room, I determined to get it fixed and fixed right. I called one of the highest rated large appliance repair companies on Angies List, and incredibly, they told me they don't do that sort of work -- said I would have to call a duct company! I tried to explain that it was not the ducts inside the walls that were the problem, but the external, flexible exhaust tubing that was coming loose. They still said, incredibly, that they could not fix it because the dryer would have to be pulled out from the wall and they never do that! I asked if they had ever installed a new dryer. Oh, yes, they said. Then how on earth can you not know how to hook up the exhaust tubing, I asked. After a few more frustrating minutes, I politely told them this job seemed far beyond their expertise and called All American Appliance Service Inc. All American sent Mark out the next day with very high quality parts (he showed me the tubing and the clamps before he installed them and they definitely were much higher quality that Home Depot!). Marks was on time and his work took about 10 minutes. My problem was fixed. All American was prompt, efficient, intelligent and well priced. And they did not know until I wrote the check that I am an Angie's List member. I'd call them again any time.

Had called around to get my washer repaired. All other companies told me 5 days to a week. Called and was told a Tech could come the next day in the am. I received a call 30 minutes before his arrival. My elderly Mom was home and she states the Tech was very pleasant and very professional. Washer was repaired in 30 minutes. i have submitted this report weeks later, but wanted to be sure I sent in a positive comment.

My dryer had stopped heating. I called and was given a three-hour time frame for the day I requested. I had already opened the front of the dryer to clean out the lint, so I left it dismantled. AJ called ahead about half an hour before coming. He found that it was the thermostat, which he had to order. This visit took about 15 minutes. On Friday, the company called to say the thermostat was in. On Monday, AJ came back, replaced the thermostat, and at my request swapped out the heating element(which still worked) for a new one that I already owned, and went outside to make sure the vent was clear and air was flowing. This visit was around half an hour (a little less, I think=maybe 20 minutes?). There was a trip charge of $69 for the first visit, and no trip charge for the second visit since the part had to be ordered. I also had a 10% off Angie's List coupon. I thought the cost was reasonable. AJ was very efficient and neat. It was good that he asked to see the vent from the outside to make sure it wasn't blocked. I was given an appointment for the day I requested, and, even though the part had to be ordered, my dryer was fixed within a few days. I would definitely use this company again.

Mark came to diagnose a leaking problem we had with our washing machine which is 15 years old. At first, he told us that given the age of the unit, it may be more practical for us to purchase a new one. However, after diagnosing the problem, he saw that it would be fixable for a reasonable price. It took a little longer than anticipated to get the parts necessary to repair the machine, but it appears that he did a good job. He was very professional, courteous and knew what he was doing.

He ordered a control panel and installed it for me. Overall, the work went well. The worker was very personable and nice. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

They came out twice. They were prompt and clean. They charged $350 for fixing a dishwasher and $136 for fixing a washer. They let me know at every step when they were ordering parts and when it was in. Service was scheduled very quickly after that. They came within their window. They also cleaned up after themselves. They were perfect. There was absolutely nothing wrong with them.

Showed up on time, quickly diagnosed the problem. Mark had the part on the truck and replaced the part. All in the amount of time it took to brew a pot of coffee. 20 minutes from start to finish. Problem solved.

I called All American Appliance first thing in the morning and spoke to Bonnie. She said someone would be over between 12 and 4 PM. Roy came about 1:20. He opened the refrigerator door turned a knob and the refrigerator/freezer came on immediately! It seems that my two-year old granddaughter had turned it off Sunday evening!!! Ray waited for several minutes to ensure it would keep running. I felt like a fool! He said he had seen it before with his own children. I will definitely be calling All American in the future for appliance repairs!

The scheduler made an appointment for the morning after I called for sometime between 8-12. The technician called before arriving at 10. His inspection of my washing machine revealed that a loose connection was the only issue. The refrigerator required the tech to clear the auto defrost drain. He also showed my how to do this myself. All this for $98 (after 10% Angies List coupon). This is an excellent, reliable, trustworthy, and reasonably priced company.

The scheduling of a service appointment was very efficient. The scheduler agreed to have the technician call me 30-45 minutes before he would be there so I could then leave the office. This saved the amount of leave I had to use. When Roy arrived, he was extremely professional and helpful in explaining what the problem was. Afterward, Roy was helpful in recommending that I change the dryer vent hose (All American doesn't provide that service) and even recommended the appropriate tools and supplies I should buy.

I loved my experience with this company. I first looked them up on Angie's List which had them listed as an "A" rating which I wholeheartedly agree with. Bonnie, who answered the phone, was just as friendly and wonderful as described in a review that I read. The repairman, Mark, was friendly and professional and accurately and quickly completed the job. He always called before coming to the house and always arrived on time, which I appreciate so much. My washer, which would not wash on warm or hot and was moving all over before the repair, has been working perfectly ever since. This is the company that I would call for appliance repair from now on.

It turns out that they could not get the repair parts for the stove and the dishwasher still backed up even though they fixed it. We ended up replacing both appliances. They were responsive and I would like to believe that they were sincere about what they were doing, but I feel like I wasted money on the dishwasher. I am told that they were professional when they came out.

Called in the morning for a service appointment, technician was at my house a couple hours later. They promptly and professionally diagnosed the freezer issue and replaced the broken part. He had a part on-hand, so the total time spent was less than 30 minutes. Price seemed to be on the high side of what such a repair should cost, but I suppose good service demands a premium. At the end of the day the repair was much less expensive than replacing the refrigerator. I was happy with their service and will definitely look to use them again.

They were fair priced. I didn't have problems with them. They diagnosed the problem and fixed it on the spot. They kind of told us how to fix it ourselves to save on another service call. They were courteous and honest. I would use them again in the future.

The technician was courteous, professional, and thorough in his evaluation even though we could not get the dryer to do the problem that it had been occurring. He also was careful to check the wiring before he turned the machine on to avoid causing a short or a fire. He did a great job and let me know that the problem could not be definitively diagnosed, but gave a good guess as to what it could be and that I should call an electrician. He did a great job.

The dishwasher was emitting an odor during operation that smelled like burning electrical wiring. After consulting Angie's List, I opted to phone All American Appliance Service to diagnose and possibly service the dishwasher. I was greeted on the phone by a friendly, competent person who took my information and set up an appointment. She accurately described all fees and what I could expect from the service appointment. Mark (the technician), arrived on time, asked some questions and was able to diagnose the problem very quickly based on my answers and an inspection of the failed part. Mark even took the time to show me specifically what had gone wrong and why, using a diagram in the dishwasher's reference material. Although he did not have the part with him to fix it at the time, he went back to his office, picked up the part, returned and fixed the dishwasher within an hour. He was even nice enough to fix the hinge for me, which I had forgotten to mention when I phoned for the service appointment. Mark showed me the bad part (half melted!), replaced it and cleaned up the work area. He was very professional and informative, and this was a very positive experience. Mark went above and beyond my expectations when he went back to pick up the part in order to return and install it the same day - what a huge help. I will confidently recommend All American Appliance Service to my friends and neighbors.

It was easy to schedule an appointment and the person who came out from the company was very professional about fixing the problem and explaining what to do if it happened again. I would use this company again for any appliance repair.

My wife called to get a Saturday appointment since I wanted to be there during the inspection. They were able to schedule us the next day (we'd called on Friday)! The repairman, Mark, called enroute to notify/confirm our availability and was there at the beginning of the 4 hr window. He was very helpful, and freely offered advice and recommendations on how to recognize future failures. I was very pleased and plan to use All American Appliance Inc for any future appliance work.
