Description of Work: Microwave broke. The repairman was on-time, had a clean appearance, was extremely friendly, respectful of my household, didn't ask awkward questions about our home, and was exemplary in explaining the problem and other issues he noticed. For example, the builder failed to attach all of the screws holding the microwave up, resulting in the other two screws distorting the microwave case. Also, pointed out that builder failed to install the microwave smoke filter screen. All in all an excellent experience. Highly recommended.

My garbage disposal was replaced within a half hour of arrival. Best of all, my dog liked him! She is usually afraid of new people but is an excellent judge of character.

 + -1 moreThe technician came the day after we called, and isolated the problem in about 15 minutes. He ordered the necessary part, told me the cost to complete the repair and left without payment. As soon as the part came in, about 3 days later, the company called and put us on their calendar for the first day I was available. He came back, as scheduled, fixed the malfunction with the new part in about 30 minutes, collected payment according to the original estimate, and left. We are very happy with the service and will definitely use them again.

 + -1 moreThe appointment was scheduled for between 8:00 am and noon. The technician, Corey, called at 7:35 to say he was ahead of schedule and asked if I wanted him to come early. Since I had to get to work, that was fine with me! He quickly grasped the problem, replaced a defective part for the water filter assembly and unjammed the ice dispenser. He had to low cral under our house to shut off the water to the fridge to accomplish this. He was friendly and professional, explained what he was doing as he went along. Even vacuumed the coils while the back panel was off.
Description of Work: Repair of refrigerator water filter assembly and icemaker.

 + -1 moreHave used this company and repairman (Mark) twice before. This time the dishwasher was getting very noisy. Figured it was the motor. Called Thursday, arranged for Mark to come out the following morning at 7:30. Mark actually lives not too far from us and it works well for him to make us his first call. Diagnosed the problem quickly and said he would call me later in the day with a price estimate of the part. He called less than an hour later with the price and said he could come by within 30 minutes to complete the repair. He was there in 15minutes and the motor replaced 15 minutes later. Dishwasher is back to it old quiet self without the cost and hassle of getting a new one.
Description of Work: DIagnosed and repaired noisy dishwasher.

The technician responded promptly at the time designated by the company. He was courteous, polite, and helpful in responding to my questions. The job was completed efficiently and there have been no problems with the unit since the repair. I would unquestionably recommend All American Appliance Service for necessary repair work.

Installed new paddle for water dispenser that I ordered myself. Cleaned up when done. All work done at a very reasonable price, no pressure to have work done. Very professional. I highly recommend.
Description of Work: Double oven contol panel went out and had some issues with my side by side fridge., got a very quick appt and they were here when they said they would be. Looked everything over and gave me quotes. For the fridge, told me the best way to order parts etc myself and he could help install if needed when he came back to finish oven.

 + -1 moreThis was a company that I called a year or so ago for a problem that my husband ended up fixing. They were very friendly on the phone, so I kept their information. They were able to schedule an appointment within one week. I called because I thought there might be a leak in our refrigerator door ice dispenser. However, when the technician came and examined the fridge, he could not find a problem. Since he was there anyway, I had him look at two things I didn't think could be fixed......and he fixed them!! There was a lever that I pulled to take out the old water filter in the fridge, and it was supposed to push out the old filter. I had somehow broken this lever, and my husband had to use pliers to pull out the old filters and put in the new ones. The technician, Mark, worked on the mechanism for a while and fixed it. I also have a constant problem with my gas stove not lighting properly. Mark cleaned out the burners and showed me the proper way to do this myself the next time this happened. I was very pleased with the entire experience!

He ordered parts and advised on what day he could come back with parts. He arrived as scheduled and completed the installation. My husband had independently researched the problem and searched the web for solutions. He priced out the cost of ordering the control board and keypad directly for us to install. He believes that the pricing from All American Appliance with installation was very fair considering the cost of the two components and the time to install.
Description of Work: 30" electric wall oven froze up. Keypad wouldn't respond. Had to replace the control panel and keyboard.

Description of Work: I needed to replace the seal in a Maytag Neptune stackable washing machine due to mold accumulation. After consulting Angie's List I chose All American Appliance Service. The representative was pleasant and informative. I provided a detailed description, including the model number of the machine and what service I was requesting. My contact information was taken and I was advised I would receive a return call within 30 minutes advising me if the part was available and suggested dates and times for the service. Within 20 minutes the phone rang advising that the part was in stock and work could be done as soon as possible. Because I was able to provide particulars about the machine, an estimate visit was not necessary. Satisfied with the quoted price, a date for service was set. The service technican arrived within the designated timeframe, calling 15 minutes prior to arrival. The technican was pleasant and efficient as he did performed his duties to replace the seal. He cleaned up very nicely, explaining the services performed before presenting the bill. The quoted price is what I paid, no extra charges for unforseen problems. I was quite pleased with the service and will definitely call upon All American for future service of all my household applicances.
