This is how a service call should go. Mark the technician was the best. Good natured, very professional. Consulted with me on another problem so I could make an informed decision based on the age of the appliance. He didn't mind me watching him) I always try to learn from the pro's He taught me a few tricks). This wasn't a "big job" but, you get a sense for what you can expect when you do have a major repair. I will absolutely use these guys again!

This company was very easy to work with. The repair person came early, fixed my dryer on the spot and worked around my hectic schedule. I was very happy with their service and will not hesitate to call them in the future.

Mike was on time. He was clean and professional. His diagnosis concurred with my own. The 25-year-old plastic line from the copper house water line to the ice-maker had cracked. He replaced and tested it, was here for about 40 minutes. To my pleasant surprise, there was no extra charge for the new plastic tubing. The job fell within the company's minimum labor charge, as had been clearly and accurately explained to me on the phone when I made the appointment. My only small disappointment is the length of time between my service call and their first opening. This was probably a combination of the problem occurring during the Labor Day weekend (as we all know, these problems always choose to materialize at the most inconvenient times), and they are probably popular due to the quality of their work. I certainly would endure the wait again unless the fridge was actually not functioning at all.

The technician was punctual, knowledgeable and worked quickly. No complaints.

He was quick, explained the problem, what he would need to do, and the cost before proceeding. Everything was fixed and working within a half hour - no complaints. This is the second excellent experience with All Star Appliances.

In dealing with this company your first contact will most likely be with Bonnie. As other reviewers have already noted, she is delightful to work with. She scheduled the job and told us the service technician would arrive between 0800 -1000, and that he would call in advance to let us know he was on his way. The day of the service we got a call at 0745. The service tech told us his name was Roy and that he would be at our home in about 15 minutes. He pulled into our driveway at exactly 0800 ! I described the problem and Roy went to work immediately. He diagnosed what was causing our washer to leak in no time at all, and indicated he would order the part. He estimated the part would arrive the following Wednesday and that is precisely when it did come in. Roy arrived for the installation of the part at 0800 today which was what we had been promised. I swear you could set your watch by this company ! When the work was finished the washer ran as good as new, and the area in which Roy had been working was a clean as it was before the work commenced. In short, I've never had such professional, pleasant, and punctual help from an appliance service organization. I'm not hoping anything else in the house breaks on us, but were that to happen we'd be back to All American Appliance Service in a heartbeat !

Fantastic! I had to reschedule for travel reasons and All-American was very accommodating. Roy showed up well within the designated time window on the appointed day, calling ahead as promised. He was a total pro. Very friendly and efficient. He dealt with a very tight working area and quickly id'd the problem with the dryer - spinning without heat. In a few minutes, he had the new fuse element installed and everything back to normal. He made a point to show me the problem and get my verification before proceeding. Once he was finished, he had me inspect the dryer and confirm it was working to my liking. Overall, using All-American was a better choice for me than trying to diagnose and repair this myself. I'm handy but not with electrical work. In this case, I'd much prefer to pay a pro to make the quick fix than to monkey around myself and risk bigger drama. Roy was very upfront in estimating the repair, which could have been a big deal considering the age of the dryer. All American is a trusty, customer-first type company that will do honest work at a fair price. Definitely recommend for any household electric repair/appliance work.

First contact to get an appointment was very pleasant. The lady was very friendly and gave me an appointment for the next day. Repairman called prior to arrival as promised. I had already diagnosed the problem but didn't know how to fix it. He identified the problem quickly and had the required part for the repair. He replaced the part and told me to wait 24 hours so the freezer could defrost all the ice on the coils which was causing the problem of the fridge not cooling. He didn't tell me that the refrigerator would not start up as soon as I plugged it in so I thought there were still problems but it did start up sometime later. My only complaint about the repairman was that he reeked of cigarette smoke which I hate. I was definitely shocked at the price for the repair which with a 10% discount was still $144. I looked up the defective part on the internet and it was less than $15. Other than the smokey repairman and the high cost, all went well. I think next time I would try someone else.

After he found the problem he discussed with me all options and I decided that the microwave was too old to repair. Corey was very professional from the phone call to let me know that he was on his way until he walked out the door. This is my first experience with All American Appliance Service and I would not hesitate to call them again if needed.

I have had problems with my washer and was afraid to call a service tech. I am very happy I did. All I need was one screw replaced. They could of screwed me and charged a couple of hundred dollars and I wouldn?t been the wiser. Instead the tech replaced the screw and only charged for the visit, since it was a simple fix. It can be difficult to trust repairmen but these guys you can trust. Highly recommended!

The experience could not have been better. I called on June 16th and an appointment was made for June 17th between 1 & 4. The technician call prior to his arrival and arrived about 2pm. He conveyed to me that he knew what he was doing and the problem was quickly fixed for a very reasonable cost.

I was so pleased and impressed by the knowledge, efficiency, and customer service shown by this young man. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again if i have need of appliance repair.

The service went well. My husband was the one who dealt with the technician did the service. We were pleased with the outcome of the service and they were able to resolve the issue. We had no issues with scheduling them.

They were very good. Our ice make on our fridge stopped making ice. I saw them on Angie's Listt and so i called and they came over promptly. They said we needed to replace a motor inside.Came back next day and put the part in. Didn't waste anytime, knew what they were doing.

They were very quick and good. Everything was great. The technician was very friendly too. They were also very responsive and the part came in a lot quicker. They have to order the parts and I was surprised it came in quicker than they had estimated so that was great.

ColdMark examine and made 2 recommendations based on availability and cost of the parts by the manufacturer. His sound advice made me decide to buy a new washer. He explained the problems and what needs to be changed. 1. replace Control panel to fix the cold/warm/hot selection. 2. Gear box where the noise was coming from. Some parts were not available so rather fix something which is still going to break down the road or a new washer. Mark was very communicative and tested every scenario. Professional and highly recommend this company.

Roy, our tech, was professional and knowledgeable about our problem. He'd seen it before. 10 minutes to troubleshoot, a couple of days for the part and installation. Great job, we will use them again. On time, clean and neat, knowledgeable and friendly. A great company asset!

Roy came on June 17th to determine what was wrong with the dryer that was making a loud screeching noise. He thought it would be one of two things and ordered the parts saying it would take 5-7 days. He also ordered the washer gasket. I paid $89 for the visit instead of the $69 because he looked at two appliances. Looking at the washer took five seconds as one could see that there was a small tear in the rubber. Roy returned today, June 26th. He needed a second person -- not to complete the work but to take the dryer off the washer since they are stacked and with one person on hospice and another in Afghanistan, we did not have anyone here to take it down and put it back up again. Roy arrived and completed the washer; his colleague arrived and helped him take down the dryer. The two of them did what was a one-person job to complete the dryer. Roy worked about 45 minutes; the other about half an hour. I did receive an ESTIMATE for the work on the 17th. I considered it an estimate since Roy was not sure how much needed to be done on the dryer and since my experience with home repairs is that labor costs are based on time. Thus, I was shocked when the labor charge was $318. That is about $212 per person hour (total person time was 1.5 hours). To me, that is exorbitant. In comparison, it is a smaller issue that only the $69 for the first visit and not the $89 was deducted... $20 to see that, yes indeed, there was a tear in the gasket as I indicated when requesting the service. Roy was prompt, professional, and personable. I talked with Bonnie who only reiterated that the labor is based on the job and not time, but could not tell me how that amount was determined - only that it is not based on time. It certainly isn't on the difficulty of the tasks. The responsiveness rating is based on Bonnie's unwillingness to explain how the labor costs are determined and also that it took 9 calendar and 7 working days to get a part and complete the repair.

Both repaired machine functioning well 6 months later.

We were completely satisfied with All American's work. They got back to our inquiry for inspecting our noisy dryer promptly, set up an appointment for a tech to come diagnose it, which he did quickly. They ordered the parts (note to LG appliance owners, they can take a week to get in, though that is LG's fault), and came out and replaced the dryer rollers. Our dryer is quieter than it's ever been. We will definitely use All American again and recommend to friends. Both the office staff and tech were professional, prompt, and friendly.

The technician had to make three trips to my house to fix my oven. There were multiple parts that had failed and needed to be replaced. One visit required two technicians to lift the oven out. It was a little difficult to schedule multiple appointments but the technicians were very professional and very well trained and had a lot of experience. I would use them again.

All American gives a morning or afternoon appts. Roy called a 1/2 hour before he showed. He was friendly and went promptly to work. He explained everything he was doing, took apart the microwave, tested everything and found the burnt wire. He replace the necessary bits and put everything back into place. The dishwasher had stopped working properly, but was working fine when he showed up, so that was not worked on. All American charges about $75. for showing up, but that is considered part of the parts and labor cost. The total cost was $98.00 I would definitely use Roy and All American Appliances again. I called Roy back when I realized the fan was not working. He came on June 9th. He took the panel apart, and tested the fan. In this case, the control panel needs replacing, which costs$247. We are putting the job on hold. He did not charge for this job, since it was a follow to the May 30th. I was very pleased with his work. He even gave his opinion on appliances.

Received a reminder call the day before, and the technician called ~15 before arrival. Service was right in the middle of the time window; the technician was prompt, polite, and efficient. The actual task didn't take much time to resolve (disassemble pump, remove junk, reassemble), but was very much appreciated by my piles of unwashed clothing.
