Not that I want to have any more problems with any appliances, but if I do, I know who will be my first call! I first contacted them right before Thanksgiving when my oven wouldn't heat up. While it took a few days for them to be able to come out, they were very prompt in their arrival and, as promised, called 15 minutes prior to their arrival. Mark, the technician, replaced the part quickly. So, when my washing machine died mid-cycle the other night, I knew who to call. Mark was assigned us again and was great. He was very quick and efficient (neat as well) and determined that the motor had died on the machine. He said he wasn't sure of the exact cost of a new motor but would find out and let me know but was pretty sure it would be at least $250 to replace it. That was my above my cut off amount for repairing vs. replacing so I said I guess I'll just get a new washing machine. He agreed but said he didn't want to push me in that direction and could fix it and nurse it along for awhile if I wanted him to. I really liked how he didn't try to sell me something that wouldn't serve me well in the long run and took the time to answer my questions about various brands and top vs front load machines. Everyone I have spoken to at this company has been great and I look forward to working with them again if the need arises.

Professional the whole way...from the call to the office to set up an appointment, to Cory calling to ask if he could come a little earlier than my appointment time. He was quick to diagnose the problem, and because it was very expensive, I chose not to repair the washer...but, I will use them again

The first problem was hiring a company who would actually order and replace the drip pan (two-man job). If it were not for the secretary who took my problem to her boss Bonnie, I doubt I would have had the pan ordered and replaced. Extremely good customer service here. These people are very professional and very friendly. You can feel the experience needed from the boss, the secretary and the mechanics. I highly recommend this company.

I will ALWAYS call All American if my experiences with getting our freezer fixed is this good every time. They came out twice to look at the problem. Waleed, the tech, was smart, no-nonsense, get the job done kind of person. What a relief! He didn't have the part but it got ordered quickly, and I didn't have to follow up with the company to get it another appointment. The back office was on top of it. Waleed came out again and again he was awesome.

Bonnie was very friendly & responsive when I called. We set up a window for Mark to arrive. He got here earlier in the window & found what turned out to be a simple fix. With an older stove, he could have told me a lot of stuff was wrong & needed replacing--I wouldn't have known. He's honest, knowledgeable, friendly, and informative about appliances. They're a great company that we've used before & will continue to use. Recommend them highly.

Excellent. Called ahead, on-time, checked out the stove completely, brought the parts just in case (even though he didn't need them).

He came out and advised that it was my condenser and the noise was a direct result of it. He verified that everything was working properly. I felt he was very honest and I would recommend his services to others.

Mark from All American showed up at my home on time and was well prepared to perform the service--minor surgery on our old upright freezer. After some 20 years, the defrost switch had burned out and needed replacement. He worked efficiently to install a new switch and afterward took the time to show me what he had done and explain what issue he had corrected. Mark was pleasant and professional in his manner and I would welcome him back to our home for our next (inevitable) appliance repair job.

Called about a gas smell when using my oven, they sent someone out that week. Ended up having to replace the ignitor. They were so fast, it only took him a few minutes to take it apart, diagnose the problem and fix it. The price was great, I was expecting it would be in the $300-$400 range, so to be only $162 made my day, and they gave the Angies list discount. Will definitely use them again in the future!

Very disappointing customer service - I scheduled an appointment with a three hour window and took the day off to stay home. I had a problem with my phone and missed the call saying that the technician would be there in 15 minutes. Instead of coming to my house (I did have a confirmed appointment, after all), the company canceled the service call within 10 minutes of not hearing back from me. When I discovered the problem and called, the company refused to send the technician, despite the fact that it was still within the 3 hour window for repair, the window was in the late morning, and I was willing to stay home for the rest of the day to wait. I would have expected better customer service from this company.

Corey has the patience of a saint! The icemaker has lots of parts, so he carefully took it apart to be sure what needed to be ordered. In part, this was because he didn't want me to have to pay for parts that I didn't need. When he came back to install that part, he was even more patient in trying to get it back together so it would work properly -- so far, so good. The total cost for the part and labor were much less than I feared, and he gave me the 10 percent discount for being a member of Angie's list. I've never used any other company to repair my GE appliances, and I've never been disappointed.

We called them. They came and everything was fine. They told me that it’s not worth to repair it. They were honest. They came on time. They explained everything fast. Based on reputation, I just bought a new one. They called me upon arrival so as not to waste my time. They were very professional. They were very good when I called to schedule the estimate and when they came. I will definitely call them.

I'm shocked that this company has so many good ratings. Our experience was literally one of the most disappointing we've had as homeowners, and customers don't come much nicer than us. The repairman diagnosed and fixed a problem with our stove and oven elements not heating. However, the fix left our oven with a broken clock (display is now not lit up) and our oven heats up only in celsius. We pointed this out to the repairman right away and he did not have any idea why, but suggested they order a part and come back out to fix. That is fine, except the repairman really had no idea why our oven would be broken in a new way. He suggested a new control board as a fix, however our impression was that he just didn't have the expertise to properly diagnose the problem. That is fine too, we don't expect every repairman to know everything. We later followed up with the company and requested a different repairman (we felt a reasonable request given that he didn't know why our oven was still broken, but in a different way). We were told "we did not NEED a different repairman." Seriously? Four months later (no, I'm not kidding), we have not recieved any notification that our "ordered" part has come in. They either forgot about following up to fix a customer's appliance or purposely decided to blow us off (both bad) Bottom line: highly, highly non-recommend All American Appliance Service.

I am the head of repairs at McGrath Real Estate Service and we manage over 700 properties and All- American Appliance is our first call for all appliances at the house. They only do repairs now but when they used to do replacements we almost exclusively used them for all our appliances needs. They are professional and kind to our tenants, they are well priced and provide timely responses. I highly recommend them to my clients but also to family and Friends.

Amazing! The technician was efficient and professional. After looking at the fridge, he knew what the problem was and exactly how to fix it. He had the parts handy, in his truck and repaired it within 20min. He answered my questions about the longevity of my fridge and the repair. He also provided recommendations for other reliable appliances. He seemed knowledgeable and experienced. I saved $1600 from buying a new fridge. Thank you!

I have used them several times in the past and have recommended them to others. they do really good repair work. However, I tried to schedule garbage disposal repair 4 days out or even a week out and requested after 1:30 p.m. due to my work schedule. I did not want to have to take a day off for that. Scheduler advised she could only guarantee after 1 P.M. which would not work for me. I am home at 1:30 definitely. too bad. I have found another company that would come between 2-5 p.m. I use several other service providers (i.e., exterminators, electricians, furnace and a/c inspections) who always work at my schedule, 1:30 or later.

Called All American Appliance Service (AAAS) on a Monday, and they were able to schedule a service call for Friday of the same week. I explained that the dishwasher was not working, and requested a service call at their earliest convenience. The person to whom I spoke was very courteous and scheduled an early morning appointment for the following Friday. Roy arrived on time, removed the broken part and promptly installed the new door switch. My dishwasher works beautifully. I really appreciate the prompt, efficient, and courteous service.

The very best service I have EVER had in any repair service, and being an older person, I have used a lot of them. They were above what Angie's list said. From first call to them to the repair man leaving, it was nothing but service, service, service and with a smile also. The part had to be ordered for my ice maker but it arrived within a week and they were here the next day installing the part. This company will ALWAYS have my business. It was a blessing to have them in my home and thank you Angie, without you I never would have found them.

WOW! This is an exceptional firm and lives up to Angie's List recommendations. I was having problems with water leaking and becoming ice in the bottom of my freezer. Mark, All Americans Technician, arrived on time and proceeded to immediately diagnose the problem. He repaired the cause, remove additional unseen ice and then cleaned up after himself. What a pleasure to deal with this firm!

It was misdiagnosed by one of the technicians. I dont think the guy was listening to me when I stated what was wrong. He had to come out multiple times to fix a simple job. It ended up being the timer was broken. It was not a good experience overall.

Our tenants broke a piece off of the ice door of our fridge. We had problems with ice build-up that kept us from closing the freezer door properly. The technician was very professional. (I appreciated that he did not try to sell me a $200 ice door kit replacement.) He made adjustments to the door and was finished within 30 minutes. I will definitely call All American Appliance the next time I have appliance issues.

Technician called just before scheduled time and arrived on time. Opened unit up and diagnosed washer apparatus was ok. Adjusted door which was crooked as possible source for leak. Cost for service call counted against repair if they had to come back. Straightforward and helpful attitude. My wife was able to get on with her day without waiting around and was comfortable with the service provided. We are very pleased with All American and would definitely call them again for service.

Technician showed up on time, and called ahead as promised. He located the problem in my fridge/freezer immediately and got it working by a "re-boot" - unplugging and plugging it back in - "like you do your computer," he said. He also took the time to show me the part that might be faulty and said that he could put an order in for one. We did, and he took my credit card number for the charge. We authorized the part by phone the next day and in a couple more days the main office phoned and scheduled the follow up installation. Since the fridge had been working for one week, we decided to not spend the extra $100+ for the new part, and phoned to cancel the appiontment and part and that was not a problem. I was happily surprised that they did not charge my card until everything was completed...meaning our determination to not go beyond the initial service call...and so that is all we paid for. On THAT though.... and hardly worth mentioning except the box I am typing this in says "We want all the details" - I had a call back from Pauline at the main office who told me that the card I gave the tech had been declined. I went over the number with her, and with a sort of "I have heard it all before" voice added "I did not enter the card wrong...if I did the credit card company would have told me." So, I gave her another card number which immediately went through (and she suddenly became pleasant again!). I phoned my credit card company after the call and discovered that though it was all written correctly by the tech on the receipt...that when processing it...she put in the wrong year (the current year, instead of the one written on the work ticket - which matches my card). Again, the last paragraph is hardly worth mentioning, but since they asked.... Having said that, understanding that I have made worse mistakes, All American Appliance Service, Inc. will be my go to company for the next call!

From start to finish an excellent response. Our ice maker suddenly stopped working, and after trying several troubleshooting ideas ourselves (turn it off for 24 hours, check for blockages, check the tray arm, etc.), I called All American. An actual person (Bonnie, I think) answered the phone, asked some relevant questions, and scheduled an appointment for two days ahead. She was polite, efficient, and cheerful, and she explained the billing plan and said the tech would call 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time. On the day of the appointment, Corey called at almost exactly 15 minutes prior, and arrived punctually. He proceeded to do a great detective job, and discovered that a grocery vegetable bag had been blocking a key intake vent. OK, it was a tad embarrassing, but I am not sure we would have ever thought that such a minor thing would be the cause (the bag was only partially covering the vent). He explained that these kinds of ice makers have an automatic shutoff in response to fairly minor temperature fluctuations, so as not to dump water into the ice bin. He also showed us the other air flow locations to be sure and keep clear. Corey waited a bit to make sure the ice maker was cooling off again. It was. We were charged for the service call, minus an Angie's List discount, and given a 30-day service warranty in case there was actually something else wrong. There wasn't, we had ice within a couple of hours, and it has worked perfectly ever since. I especially appreciated that Corey did not automatically fall back on the "plug 'n' chug" approach, in which the response to an unknown cause is simply to replace an entire unit or major component. He did not try to sell us anything new, he simply fixed our problem. We will definitely call on them again should the need arise.
