I emailed them from here asking about repairing a squeaky dryer. They merely emailed me back, asking ME to call them to set up an appointment. When I did, they told me that they only service my area one afternoon a week. Utterly ridiculous. I want to thank them for NOT doing the work for me, though. Thanks to Angie's List I found a different repair company who responded promptly to my call, were easily able to schedule an appointment that fit with my working hours and even called me to ask if another time they had would be more convenient. And they are getting an A review from me both for their professionalism in the office and for the job that they did!

Mark was very punctual and professional as he came to my home to provide a free estimate. He quickly determined that a circuit board had malfunctioned. He indicated that once the appropriate stores opened, he would quote me a price for the circuit board. True to his word, he called later that morning, he provided me a quote. I declined to have the board installed due to cost; it was more cost effective to buy a new washer. Additionally, the CSR who took my call to set up the free estimate was very professional; she listened to my problem and quickly scheduled my estimate. I was very impressed with both Mark and the CSR. I would use All American Appliance Service, Inc. again.

Mark came -- right on time -- and replaced a switch in the dishwasher. Because we had provided a thorough description of the problem as well as the model and serial numbers when making the appointment, he had the correct diagnosis and parts ahead of time. Therefore, only one visit was needed. He fixed it very efficiently, and it has performed well since. We would definitely use this company again.

Mark arrived on time. We explained the problem with the gas oven not lighting despite the gas flowing properly. He immediately suspected the problem was a persistent defect with this particular model of Whirlpool oven. He knew that Whirlpool would recommend three possible fixes, but in his experience they often did not work. He made the recommended fixes, which involved tightening a screw on the ignition mechanism. This got the oven working. But he said it could break again at any time and, given the nature of the problem, if it reoccurred it was probably time to get a new oven (and he recommended a few other brands besides Whirlpool). He was very nice. He even removed the light bulb shard that had broken off in the light fixture in the oven hood, which we could not dislodge ourselves. For all of this, he DID NOT CHARGE US A DIME! I've never had an experience where a repairman made a service call, fixed the problem, and did not charge me. My wife and I were totally blown away. We certainly will be calling All American again if we ever have any other appliance problems. They earned a lot of brownie / trust points with the way Mark treated us!!!

As noted above, all aspects of this job went exceptionally smoothly - from ease and speed of scheduling an appointment for service; to punctuality of arrival; to speed in finding and correcting the fault/defect. While this issue was quickly discovered and corrected, I have no doubt that Waleed (the assigned technician) would have found and repaired a much more difficult task! Let me emphasize speed of execution: From the moment Waleed stepped into our house until the issue was resolved took less than 10 minutes. I could not have been happier with the service!

This company was a pleasure to work with. My dryer abruptly stopped working on a Sunday. I called the next day and Bonnie answered my call and promptly scheduled a technician to come out on Thursday, a day I was taking off from work because I had another repair person coming that morning. Mark, the technician arrived promptly (and at the earlier end of the 4 hour window, as I had requested) and immediately diagnosed the problem (the heater had stopped working). He had a replacement part on his truck and was able to replace the broken unit within minutes. Bonnie was helpful and accommodating, service was prompt and courteous, Mark was knowledgeable and professional and the price was extremely reasonable. So happy to find an appliance repair company of this caliber (and so happy that I did not have to go out and buy a new dryer)..

Service was good. He diagnosed and explained the problem including that a fix was only likely to last for a couple of years. He explained the options well. I would definiitey call them again.

Roy did a great job troubleshooting a drainage problem with my LG dishwasher. He carefully checked for blockages and then narrowed down the problem to a crushed / cracked hose. Very friendly and professional. Once I get the replacement hose, I'm having Roy come back to install it.

When I called to make the appointment, I was asked to tell what the problem was and the model number of my frig. This enabled him to come prepared with two parts that may have been needed. After explaining the problem, the frig actually made the noise and he was able hear first hand what the problem was. After a quick check, the one part was replaced and the problem solved. While the frig was pulled out, he took a few minutes and vacuumed off the coils for us... He was very professional and chatted with us as he serviced the frig...We are very pleased and will use this service company again.

After Corey had diagnosed the problem back in Dec, we were left with a decision...a new washer or a very expensive repair. After looking I was very disappointed with the washers on the market. In the meantime, our frig had a problem, and when Corey came to take care of it, he explained that the company had gotten a new tool and was doing a trial fix on a washer with a similar problem. It would be a cheaper repair, than first suggested. The repair was a success...So, Corey did the repair on my washer also...and now,I am doing my wash without sounding like It is going to the moon.

This is the second time All American has repaired an appliance in my home. Mark was the technician both times, and he is a great guy. He shows me exactly what the problem is, makes it simple to understand, and fixes it. I feel like I'm not being sold any services that I don't need. I'll continue to call them any time I need help with my appliances in the future.

The nicest man came out and inspected my dryer. Worked on it until he fixed it and the noise was gone. He was just a wonderful person and he worked really hard. I was very pleased with what he did. After a day or two the noise came back so he is already scheduled to come back out.

Roy, the technician contacted me prior to his arrival so that he could get the details on what our problem was. After explaining to him that the freezer in the garage wasn't working properly, he explained to me that there probably wasn't a problem with the freezer. He went on to explain that the thermostat is actually housed within the refrigerator area, which also controls the freezer. Since the fridge is in the garage, and because it's been so cold, the temperature level hasn't continuously gotten high enough for the compressor to kick on. He said that we should just wait until the weather got a little warmer and then check the freezer. He said it probably did not deserve a service call and that he didn't feel that it justified charging us a service fee. I almost fell out of my chair when I heard that. Most companies would have charged us, regardless of whether or not they did anything. From now on, this will be the only appliance repair service we contact. Professional, dependable and honest...that works for us. By the way, we had a couple of days when it warmed up and sure enough the freezer was working fine.

We called for service Jan 25 or 26, and scheduled an appointment for service on 1/30 (as much because of our availability as theirs; they offered 1/29). The tech arrived on time on 1/30 with "on the way" call as promised, and checked out the problem. Fridge water system was making bad noises, with little water flow to ice water dispenser or ice-maker. Diagnosed bad "filter head" (I think this includes the valve), but did not have part in stock - had to order it. When part came in, company called (2/3 or 2/4) to arrange appointment to install it. It was another five or six days before we could get the part installed. (This was mostly because they wanted to send same tech that had been here the first time, so we had to work with his schedule as well as ours.) That work was done today (2/9), and everything seems fine. We are happy with their performance (providing that the fix is lasting) and would use them again. The tech was pleasant, professional, and communicated well. We got a 10% Angie's List discount. If problem had been more pressing, we would have made ourselves available for faster service; it was offered.

Showed up before scheduled window time which in my book is always awesome (Tech did call to say he was on his way and was 10 minutes away). Dryer is about 7-8 years old and I was pleasantly surprised that he had the part needed on hand.

Mark arrived ontime and did a full review of the unit and was able to give us very detailed assessment, unfortunately the repairs would have ended up costing more that getting a new one. There were a few things definitely needed and then a couple that he felt would go soon. He could have very easily said to do the urgent items for a couple hundred and left with the unit working, but a few months later the other items would have gone, ending up costing close to 500 total, we were able to get a brand new one installed for 425. So definitely honest, professional and I was pleased. Would use again if we have issues with appliances

Roy was on time and very professional. Service charge for visit waived when we had the repair done. We will use only this company in future.

Walid (I hope that's how you spell his name) arrived promptly. He was very polite and professional. He quickly assessed the problem on his first visit and said it could be one of two things. He ordered parts and a few days later came back. He tried the least expensive option first and that was the problem. The scheduling office was very good about getting us scheduled quickly and following up with us on the phone for the second appointment. Everyone was courteous and professional and the repair was quick and efficient and Walid put everything back exactly as it was and we now have a working dryer.

The service tech was courteous and friendly. He listened to the grinding noise coming from the washer, and found that a nut had come loose, a problem that he has seen many times before. Re-tightened and torqued the nut which fixed the problem. He also diagnosed and repaired a leaky gasket on the dishwasher without having to replace the part. Definitely knows his stuff and will surely call them again in the future.

Repairman was very efficient. Had replacement part in the truck. Quoted us the price and we accepted.

The initial visit was scheduled with ease, and within a few days. The technician called ahead, was on time, was thorough in his examination of both appliances, responded to questions, told me what parts would needed, gave me an estimate of the cost, and a time-frame for the final repairs.... all of which turned out to be accurate. There were no surprises and the technician was a very pleasant person.

The technician called to let me know he was on his way. He was punctual, very polite, and very professional. He got right to the task at hand,and he ensured the microwave worked properly before leaving. He also put the microwave back in the wall space before he left. I was overall very satisfied with the service and would use this company again.
