Description of Work: They cleared the drainage issue in the back of my freezer that was causing leakage and causing the freezer to not keep items in it frozen. Since the technician cleared the drain, freezer has been working perfectly!

Description of Work: They repaired the springs on my microwave oven. My oven is a whole unit set into the wall. I had two appliance people come out and tell me my entire oven had to be pulled out to replace these springs that lie just below the microwave door. Both told me the cost would be over450.00 dollars. That is when I joined Angie's list to find a competent and reliable appliance repair company. Now I couldn't be happier Mark is wonderful and trustworthy. As I had believed all along all that was required was to take off the microwave and oven door and then replace the springs. Job well done.

Description of Work: Our in-cabinet microwave oven had lost power, sporadically at first, then completely. After setting up the service call online, the repair technician from All-American Appliance Service, Inc. arrived on schedule and quickly diagnosed the problem. Final repairs were completed after a short wait (a couple of days) for the part and as a bonus, he also repaired the oven's turntable which no longer turned. All in all, we are very pleased with the service performed by All American and will gladly recommend them to our neighbors.

Great service support, not pushy nor did they try to sell or talk us into anything we didn't need. Great price for all the work performed; we would use them again if we had a problem requiring their services. Highly recommend.

Description of Work: Replaced faulty circuit board controlling the oven temperature; repaired broken control panel for range hood. After one small glitch (factory sent a faulty circuit board) it all went VERY well. This is a small family-owned company and I recommend them highly.

Description of Work: Dryer had a grinding noise. Turns out the dryer fan motor had accumulated too much lint, this despite a Sears maintenance contract for the past three years was supposed to preclude this from happening. Sears contract ended in Feb after their last service. Not once during Sears three preventive maintenance shows did they take the dryer front off to inspect the fan - something All Appliance said that Sears should have done. Like: All American Appliance Service; Not like: Sears preventative maintenance contract service.

Description of Work: This is the third time that I have used All American over the last 15 years. I have never been disappointed. My dryer needed repair and I was considering repairing a built in microwave also. The technican was on time, called as he said he would and showed me the issue (broken coil?) He had the part in the truck and repaired it within an hour. He told me he could take apart the microwave and look at it, but from what I had described, the repair would probably be close to the cost of purchasing a new one. He didn't charge me for looking at the 2nd appliance.

Description of Work: Noticed a gas smell when oven was in use. All American was very friendly and had a technician out to diagnose the problem within a week. The technician was friendly and knowledgable, and was able to diagnose the issue within about 15 minutes (safety valve & igniter). All American provided an estimate by the next day, stuck to it, and called back promptly when the parts had arrived to schedule the repairs.

Description of Work: The technician replaced a hose clamp. He was quick to diagnose and repair the problem. I was expecting a major bill and was pleasantly surprised.

Description of Work: Reset refrigerator. The guy thought this might fix it and it saved me money since it only cost the service call. He said if it stopped working w/I 30 days, they would come back out for no additional fee. It did stop running again about 32 days later. We reset it again and it ran for a day or two and stopped forever.

Description of Work: My dishwasher was leaking from the bottom corner of the door. He replaced the door gasket and while here, for no charge, he fixed my top rack so that it would stay put, instead of rolling out whenever the door was opened. Very professional and courteous and an excellent price - Angie's List discount is nice too.
