They do excellent work. We have used them for 10 years or so. They don't use a product that will harm the environment. They are very friendly and very professional. I will continue to use them and recommend their service.

We have used TBI for several years. They provide a good service. There is one area along the property line that has been overrun with weeds. They hand applied weed killer and promised to take care of the area in the spring. In the past when we have called them to take care of a weed problem TBI has promptly applied weed killer.

They come 5 times a year. My lawn improves every yeaar.

Great colmuncation and punctuated services

They put you on a plan and pretty much come out as needed. They are a green company. That's what I like about them. They're excellent. I'm very pleased with the work that they've done.

This is the 2nd year I've used TBI. The first year was excellent, my yard looked great, the grass was nice and green and little to no weeds. This year has been HORRIBLE. They came out and fertilized in the middle of summer when it was over 95 degrees killing my lawn. The only thing they didn't kill was the weeds which have taken over. My water bill was been through the roof because we're watering almost every day to try and get it to grow back. Once my contract is up with them I will not be renewing. Really disappointed in them. I have 2 more services with them before my contract is over and at this point I don't think I'll be renewing.

This is the 3rd service of the year(we have 5 times service/year). They only did fertilization and weed control this time, so I called them back to seed the patch area and leave me extra seeds for later use. They came back next week and did what I asked for. Last year we had a lot of crabgrass and were afraid what would happen this year. They put pre-emergent crabgrass control in Feb and Apr and we have no more crab grass. They gave me an advice how I water the grass to establish turf. So far, even though this hot weather, we have new grass grow well. I appreciate their service to keep our yard green.

T.B.I. has been a miracle worker. They come every two months and do their treatments and we can't be happier with the outcome. In just under a year, they have taken our yard from a patchy, dry, unhealthy yard to lush, green, and full. I have attached photos, because it is just so hard to believe it without being able to compare. They are really well priced, and leave information after their visit on just what we need to do moving forward to build upon the treatment they just applied. I called them about treating some Bermuda grass in our yard, and I spoke with someone very friendly and knowledgeable. After looking at my account, it was recommended we wait until we were finished with the treatments to be sure that the ground is balanced the way it needs to be in order to take the next step. They said they would put a note on our account that when it is time, that is something we want to have fixed. I appreciated their input very much. They are wonderful!

From the outset contacted TBI in Spring, 2015 because I needed seeding. Todd, company owner visited but stated this would be done at end of season provided I would agree to a 5 visit contract, which I did. Two or three visits were made and paid for. The first visit was paid in cash but account department never recorded this. I was told I had missed service(s), which is true due to overseas travel and that one more visit was necessary before final service could be effected. I agreed paid for additional service. When I called to arrange for final service which was to include aeration and breaking the ground surface of areas to be seeded, on two occasions scheduled crew showed up w/o proper equipment to perform job. I asked if they we not told of work to be performed. They admitted communication from management was not always good. I called office to arrange and was told that TBI would now not do aeration because it was past November 1st when frost begins to occur. I stated there was no day in which ambient temperature was below 40 deg. Staff said it was company policy. I aerated grounds with my own equipment and called again for seeding service, this time asking for Todd, owner of company. Todd expressed doubt I was told TBI would not aerate in November (I did NOT make this up!), suggested that we part company and he would return advance payment I had made, which he did. No seeding. No aeration. A well deserved and well earned FAIL!

We have used TBI for about 7 years and our lawn looks better each year. Grass is growing where we could never get grass to grow before. They are very responsive and helpful with information and in detailing what they are doing to your lawn. If you see a problem with weeds, bare spots, disease, all you have to do is call them and they check it out and treat it right away. I highly recommend this company.

I used another lawn service for 7 years and my grass always looked pitiful. I have an irrigation system and it still looked pretty bad. Then I called TBI. OK within the first 3 months of them taking care of my lawn you could see a very considerable difference...that was over two years ago. Now my grass is incredibly beautiful. It is thick and green. Every time I look at it I smile. TBI has always been reliable. They always show up when they are suppose to. And well if you could see my grass you would be envious. These people know what they are doing and what's great it shows. If I have ever had a question or concern they come and check out whatever it is and address the issue. Out of all the services I have used on Angie's List these people from TBI have thrilled me the most. I can honestly say I have the nicest looking grass in the neighborhood. Thank you TBI !!!! Job well done!!!

I use them all the time, they were out here last week. They charge about $77 every time they come out. You cannot beat them on price for the fertilizer and chemicals they put down. They are two young boys who run the service, and they are the most fantastic people on the face of the earth. The customer service is over the top, they come out when I call them to say that I am not happy with my lawn, they come out the next day. I can't recommend this company enough. They are fantastic.

Overall, we have been pretty happy with them. The one thing that I would recommend that they improve is the description of their services. We usually have to talk to somebody in person to get answers to questions that we may have.

We're happily using them. Our previous provider fertilized for an annual fee and then whenever we were not getting results they said, well you really need to aerate and that would have more of an impact than all this fertilization. With TBI they fertilize and they aerate as part of their service, they don't come back and if you want the aeration you don't have to pay an extra 150 bucks for it. So I felt that made their product much more valuable to me.

Have used TBI for 20+ years

My neighbor had used this company and their lawn always looked beautiful. I called this company for a quote and the price was cheaper than my previous company. They came down and did one treatment. The techs were very nice and pleasant, and I'm looking forward to having a nice lawn next year!

They were polite and nice. They came very often. The new company we have doesn't come very often as they did. They had excuses in places we had weed. Their price was not out of line, it was fine. They always called before they came. Their system did not work for us and they had a defense. They may have been doing the right thing but we don't know.

I have a contract with TBI for lawn maintenance. Lately I noticed brown patches that appears like fertilizer burn. I sent email to TBI with my suspicion of the burn. They came out the following day and reported that it was fungus. They applied fungicide free and left instructions on how to deal with the situation. TBI has great customer service.

I am very happy with the results so far. We had brand new sod laid last year and it was turning brown in areas. They corrected that problem and brought back to life other parts of our lawn where we did not lay new sod. The cost above is per visit.

They do a good job of applying lawn care products. They are careful not to leave pellets on the driveway and walkway. The weeds in this area are tough and there are usually some that don't die off on a general application or rebound. TBI responds promptly when called to do spot applications. They are pleasant to deal with. We have had them apply grass seed to bare spots and to over seed the lawn in the fall. Our lawn is challenging for grass to grow in some spots because we have shade from three trees in the front yard and a slope in the back yard. They have done a good job.

TBI is great so far. We had them out for an estimate, along with another company, and they came on a Friday evening after hours. They spent 30 minutes surveying the lawn with us and then gave us a detailed and very fair estimate. They came in far lower than two other lawn care companies and so we immediately contacted them to begin work. Again, they came on off hours the very next day - a Saturday (they are closed during the weekend) - and performed the first treatment and seeding. We are very excited to be working with a company that is so responsive and gives very detailed instructions on what they do and use on your lawn. We look forward to having a great lawn here in no time.

I have had their service for three years and the first couple of years were the service was fine. However, this past year there were brown areas in the lawn and it didn't look as healthy as in the past. Since we were gone a good portion of the summer and I didn't have a chance to water regularly I didn't mention it to the company at that time. In the fall TBI areated and seeded the lawn. I watered it regularly, mowed and kept the leaves off, but the lawn seemed awfully thin. This past winter the thin areas have become bare dirt and mud. These areas are shaded and the grass has never been thick but it has never been this bare. I contacted the company and a representative came out and looked at the lawn. Their solution was to put some grass seed down in the spring. I realize that there will have to be new seed put down, but I did not get any indication that they had a long term solution.

I am really impressed with the customer service offered by this company. My neighbor and I contracted with them to fertilize our respective lawns for the season. In my case, they applied a product incorrectly and damaged large areas of my lawn. They immediately took responsibility for everything and sent out the manager and completely restored the lawn at no cost to me. Todd was great. Frankly I was very surprised at their honesty and willingness to make it right. They were polite and hardworking and based on this experience, I would highly recommend them. My lawn looks great, and they demonstrated a great deal of integrity by making it right and going above and beyond for us. Exceptional!

We have used this company for fertilizer service throughout 2013. While their prices per treatment are a little higher than some other companies, their service is very good and worth the price. Fall grass seeding is also included in the price for the fertilizer treatment. They are very accommodating about changing the date of the fertilizer treatments if we request them to. We plan to continue using them for fertilizer treatments in 2014. We also recently had them remove some clay and roots from a dug up tree in a landscape bed. Someone came out and provided an estimate very quickly and the date for the work was scheduled very quickly after paying the deposit. They followed some specific instructions we had and cleaned up and did not leave clay all over the grass area when they were finished.

So far the service has been good. They are very quick to respond if I have a concern. I think that they really go out of their way to make things right. I had a problem with bugs in my shrubs after they did some work. I called them and they were out that afternoon to fix the problem. They also came out the next day to make sure everything was still fixed.
