We were having a get together at our house and it dawned on me that two pieces of living room furniture needed some quick help. General use stains on arms and backs of good quality furniture (couch and loveseat), but everything shows as they are beige with textured fabric. Shiny Carpet came next day. Tech did a great job. I would definitely recommend.

After determining that the upholstery needed dry cleaning, it was attempted to clean spots with drycleaning solution. This was not satisfactory, so with warning the cleaning was repeated with regular cleaning solution (water based). This turned out to be very effective, and not damaging. My wife and I were very pleased with the efforts and professionalism of the cleaning team. Very much worth the few extra dollars of the quoted price.

I contacted Shiny Carpet Cleaning about some discoloration in my wool rug that I was pretty sure I caused when trying to clean some spots myself. Shiny Carpet Cleaning were really friendly and set up an appointment the next day. When the service person arrived, he looked at the rug and admitted that he didn’t think that he could fix it and explained why. He didn’t want to see me spend the money on trying if it wasn’t going to work and said that I wouldn’t be charged for the visit, which I was not. I also received a very nice follow-up call. I really appreciate that and will be looking for opportunities to use Shiny Carpet Cleaning in the future.

Cleaner came an hour earlier than scheduled appointment after confirming it was ok, so it worked out great! Very professional And courteous and carpets were cleaned in 30 minutes. Would hire again for other jobs as well.

Very good service. Tech did a very good job. There was a tiny spot on the upstairs carpet. They promptly returned to fix the spot.. I highly recommend this company.

Shiny carpet is very customer friendly. I was shopping around for move-out carpet cleaners and I made a mistake by booking two carpet cleaners. With all the craziness from trying to move during the corona virus outbreak, I forgot to cancel with the competing carpet company. Although, I had intended to go with Shiny Carpet, I was locked in with the other carpet cleaner because I had given them my credit card info to reserve my date. If I cancelled with the competing carpet company I would be charged $60. I explained my situation to Shiny Carpet and they were very understanding and accommodating. Shiny carpet allowed me to cancel without a cancellation fee even though it was less then a day before. I am so grateful to them. As far as their pricing, they are very fair and slightly less expensive then their competition. They are very professional, prompt, and send out email reminders. Thanks to my friend for intruding me to shiny carpet cleaning. My carpet in the basement really needed a deep cleaning after my kids playing, coloring and drink spills. I called shiny carpet cleaning and the communication is amazing. I spoke to a very nice gentleman that explained to me the whole process and payment options since I never had my carpet cleaned before and help me scheduled right away. Now my carpet is refreshing, very clean it looks like if it is a brand new carpet. If I had to to score the service from 1 to 10 I definitely give it a 10. I am very happy with the service and the results. I am keeping shiny carpet cleaning in mid for the future and introduce to friends and family for services. Great job!!

Because Shiny Carpet Cleaning was a referred partner of the the well-rated (on Angie's List) Fast Maid Service -- with whom I have done business a couple of times (see separate review) -- I decided to go with Shiny Carpet. It did _not_ go well. Shiny Carpet Cleaning was not able to use their equipment in a manner that pulled contaminants from my carpets, whereas the next day, a house cleaning service (scheduled previously by Fast Maids) was able to improve the carpets using just standard hand-vacuuming techniques. A service manager did visit my home the next day, but he spent the entire visit lecturing me about how I should change my furnace filters rather than acknowledging that sister-company Fast Maid's subsequent dry vacuuming got the carpets cleaner than his team at Shiny Carpet who had brought special equipment, nor did he demonstrate sincere interest in owning and resolving the problem. Rather he was defense and made it clear that he could sell me another service at equal cost to the first one. Roughly $200. (Your employees told you I only paid for $120 in services? Hmm, that's interesting.) To summarize, I sent the following to the service manager five days ago and have received no response by phone or email. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Good afternoon, Ian. I have seen your [new] estimate [for additional work at my home to make up for my dissatisfaction]. As I said to your colleague, Stephen at Fast Maids, two days ago, I am awaiting a conversation with *your* manager, or else the company owner. I am sure I mentioned that I found you via Angie's List... at this time, I cannot find any way to describe a positive experience with our interaction. You spent a lot of time explaining to me why my perception was wrong due to how you believe the stains were created by way of the ventilation. You rationalized and justified that my perceptions were fundamentally wrong because the carpets were wet the night before and now [during your visit] they were dry. I don't mean to be rude but I was/am not interested in such explanations. The efforts and/or equipment by your team did not make as much progress as the cleaning ladies sent by your colleagues at Fast Maids [the morning after the carpet cleaning by Shiny Carpet]. The difference in performance was not only noticeable but dramatic. The second team, using only their hands and a normal vacuum cleaner made the upstairs rugs much cleaner-looking than your crew, who left accumulations of black lint/dust at the edges of the walls and large areas of high-contrast dirt in the middle of two bedrooms. You should have: i) listened to my concerns ii) explained your position ONCE iii) asked ME what your company can do to make my experience a positive one. Instead, you were defensive and insistent and exhausting. Again, I don't say this to be offensive, but to give you clear feedback of the sort of remarks I will make to Angie's List, Yelp, etc. now that your management has apparently ignored my request to discuss your service. Do not call me, yourself. If your company owner wants to speak, you may give him my number, else we are done and I will have another service address the needs that your company could not. The cleaners did a good job and the cleaning crew were professional. I am very unhappy that the contractor changed the price on me. I was quoted $159 plus $3 per step for my townhouse. We had to cancel a few days before our appointment and we rescheduled two weeks later. When I got the bill, they changed the price to $210 plus $3 per step. I told them that I was previously quoted $159 but they insisted that I had a "big townhouse" and they would not recognize my previous quoted price. They eventually dropped it $10 to $200 and $3 per step , but I do not like to deal with people who change their price.

They cleaned my townhouse carpets before to move out. There were really heavy stains in the basement and it just came out perfect. I am moving to another state if I stay here i would use them again. The result was really good.

Everything went well. There was one spot on the carpet and i was worried about but it was completely gone. I will use them again

I was really impressed with the result, He did an amazing job. I was renting a really big single house and I was moving out. I have 3 kids and two dogs. You can imagine how it was the carpets condition. He started cleaning. After he was done the result was amazing. He saved me to pay thousands of dollar to change the carpet. I am making a new appointment for my new house because i really like the service.

Shiny Carpet Cleaning Service provides outstanding cleaning and customer service. Ian was awesome in every way. Responsive and very polite and my carpet look really good. like new. I had some questions after he left and he answer right a way. That doesn't happen near enough. I highly recommend this service.

Everything was good. we paid extra because we got stairs cleaned but it was worth they did a really good job.

The service went well. I had them clean an older carpet and they did the best they could. There were a few spots left behind. I only had them clean the basement carpet. I feel like I did not get my money’s worth because I did not have that much for them to clean. Two technicians came out and completed the job quickly. They tried to do as much as possible and were very efficient.

He cleaned two rugs in my house and i really like it.

After our birthday party in the house Shiny Carpet Cleaning Came and they did really good job. The technician arrived on time and i think his name was Mario. He cleaned carpet after my son's birthday party. There were about 25 kids and you can imagine how was the carpet after the party. Mario did really good job. I will work with them again.

This service was not performed because I wanted wool area carpet cleaned and Shiny's said the coupon was for wall to wall carpet only. I asked for a refund from Angie's list for the coupon price we paid
