It went perfect. They remove our old heat pump and air-condition. They installed with new one with a trane. We don't have any issue until now.

I waited 4 hours for 20 minutes worth of work. I did not appreciate that.

When the first tech came he told me that the A/C and heater was old. He was not here for the water heater. The first thing he told me is that both need to be replace. I did not call him here for that. I call for a general check up. He went outside and put coolant in the A/C. Up until this time everything was fine. I just called for a routine check-up. Only days after he left. I started to notice that the air is not cooling properly Right i notice it, I call them twice about the problem. They send another tech out. Who notice a coolant leak. He gave me a price of a new A/C. I lost faith in them. I believe something happen when the first tech came out. He was trying to sale, then fix.

Kirk Shanahan, Dan, Connor, and Raul’s work was done on time (less than a day) and at a very competitive price compared with other bids we had received. In addition, Shanahan’s did an outstanding job on quality of service and timeliness. When I had questions with the installation and the new boiler, Kirk took the time to address my questions. The morning after the unit was installed, Kirk called to say there was an error in billing -- in our favor. How many other companies would be honest enough to do that? We are extremely satisfied with Shanahan’s work and their honesty. We HIGHLY recommend this company without hesitation and plan to use them again in the future.

Excellent company. My husband and I have used Shanahan's on big and small projects for a number of years. They have always been top notch. They are undoubtedly, hands down, the best heating and air conditioning company in Northern Virginia. Their prices are fair, honest and competitive. Kirk is very hands on and his staff reflects his top level of professionalism, expertise and knowledge. Kirk and his staff have always been friendly, personable and what I like is their "can do" attitude. They will never let you down and they are a pleasure to work with. Shanahan's has my highest recommendation.

They did an excellent job. It took about 3 days to do it. Their prices were very competitive, They were very informative, but I did an awful lot of research before they ever came through the door; so I was pretty much knowledgeable about what I wanted before they showed up at my door.

Everything is "A" except for price it's a "B". I would use them again. We've been using them for years. They installed the a/c and heating unit. They did a super job. Maintenance took about 1 hour. The air conditioner unit was low on coolant.

We have an annual contract so they come out twice a year. We've been using them for about 10 years.

Work was done as stated and the following day after they determined the problem.

On every occasion, Shanahan's had done excellent work. They are prompt, and efficient. The owner suggested rerouting some duct to improve the flow of air in the lower part of a rental. It worked! When asked about replacing the AC, he inspected the unit and said it did not need replacing. The installation of the gas line for a new gas dryer after converting from an electric one went quickly. The staff is professional and very helpful. The owner is very personable as well as very knowledgeable about the business. And he is exceptionally honest and reasonable in their charges

They were great. They came over and did their thing. They are responsive, prompt, professional, and all of those good things you look for. Their prices are reasonable. I would 100% recommend them. They get "A"s across the board in every category.

The price was good and the installation went smoothly, but the new system proved inadequate to cool the space. The response from Shanahan's, after unsuccessful attempts to correct the problem, was first to make excuses and then to blame us, the homeowners. They said the system would work better if we would just insulate our attic. Funny -- the previous system worked like a dream, and the attic was not insulated. I would strongly warn against using this company. They seem okay when all goes well, but when it doesn't, they say it is not their fault. Now they are refusing to respond to letters. They can spin this any way they want -- and I'm sure they will try -- but the bottom line remains: Previous system worked, theirs does not. It's just that simple.

This required disconnecting (removing refrigerant) and connecting (charging) the a/c system. Raising the base on concrete blocks. Went smoothly and quickly.

The cost was reasonable. They are good. I like them a lot, and that?s why I keep calling them back. If I don?t like them, I don?t call them back.

A serviceman came out right away to give us an estimate. He gave us more than one option and helped us decide what would suit us best. We did have a little trouble after the initial visit getting a sales rep to call us back to put an order in, but after a few calls I was finally able to talk to someone and we got installation arranged right away. Everyone we dealt with was professional and made us feel that we had made the right choice.

They've always done a great job. I don't remember the price. It's reasonable. I really don't know how their pricing is now. It's been a year, maybe they've changed. There was one worker. They seemed very knowledgeable of the system. They knew what to check. They were very efficient. I probably will use them again.

After I signed a contract with them and said they could've done it for $1200. I knew $1800 was a little high but we were desperate. It was winter and on a Friday so we were desperate to get something done. They had us caught. They had us trapped. Their work, their attitude, professionalism.... they did a great job. They answered all my questions. It's just their price was, in my opinion, out of line. I would use them again, but not for the same thing.

Fine. The only hitch was something out of the technician's control and they were very good to remedy the situation.

Showed up on time and did an excellent job.

They were really good. It took them no time at all. Maybe 30 minutes. The workers were really good and left the area really clean.

They came out and had to order a part, so I am not sure on how long it took them to complete the work. They were good. They left the area perfect.

All were done professionally, punctually, and at a competitive price. Their work is very neat and professional.

They were the best in price. They were terrific. We have used them since. We have a contract with them for annual service of the heating and air conditioning. We like them a lot. There were absolutely no problems with the installation and the people who came out seemed to be very efficient. The salesperson was absolutely excellent even suggesting that we wait a couple of months until there was a discount on the manufacturer before we ordered so that we can have the best price, and since then they have been very good in the regular service.
