I have worked with Thomas Miles for getting a quote and cutting a quite large oak tree which was leaning towards the house and the branches coming close to the roof Thomas was extremely responsive from the early stages (e.g., getting the quote) all the way until he provided the service. His response to my email was within a few hours regardless of the moment of the day. He provided educated advice and helped me through understanding the process and alternatives (this was the first time dealing with cutting a tree for me) The crew came to the house right on time, with the right equipment and performed the service as expected. The entire service took about 4 hours and the cleaning was properly done afterwards. I was quite impressed with their professionalism factoring in the situation and the size of the tree. They cut 1 branch at a time, after which they started to cut the tree itself in small pieces, rather than taking it all down at once. I would work with them again, especially Thomas, and I would definately recomend them for large, complex jobs!

I paid a total of $480 including the big deal that I purchased. They did what they said they would do, and they did it well.

The workman did not seem interested in saving this tree. He seemed anxious to finish and leave rather than provide any guidance.

We loved them. I've seen other tree services and Save a Tree was much more skilled and professional. They did an excellent job of trimming my trees and made recommendations on how to keep them healthy. They even threw in the removal of a small mostly dead bush that we had not previously discussed. We would absolutely use them again as they are knowledgable and did a great job.

Left all the stump grounds. I had to pay someone else later to haul them out next week. Would have been simpler if they communicated that ahead of time.

They came and fertized the tree when I wasn't home so I did not get to see them. They did come and give me an estimate to cut down a large tree. I found them very professional. Their estimate was a lot higher than the other 4 vendors so did not use their services.

I was very pleased with SavATree. From scheduling the service to completion of work, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I plan on using them again.

The crew arrived exactly within the scheduled window, and when I arrived mid day, the crew wsa hard at work. The crew had all the correct safety equipment (ropes, helmets, etc) and were hard at work. When I went back to work, they had just finshed the main tree. When I arrived home at the end of the day, there was absolutely no tree residue in the yard. They cleaned up as if they had vacuumed the grass. Absolute perfection!!! My neighbors informed me that they were watching the crew at work, and they were impressed with their professionalism and detail work. I will use them again, and I hope you do, too!

Although advertised for "Washington Area," the Springfield, VA office of Save-a-Tree is not licensed to work in DC. However, they graciously arranged to have their Rockville, MD office honor the coupon. Service will be provided at a later date.

I ordered the service, called them up to schedule, they put me on the schedule for when in the year it should be done, called me later with an exact date, showed up first thing, spent a full hour doing the fertilization, and left.

I am always pleased with Sav-A-Tree. They are prompt, do a good job, and mostly and thorough. This time I will give them an A- because I had just a few branches that should have been cut in the trimming of the tree. That being siad, I would always recommend the company.

After an initial scheduling problem due to the stormy weather at the time (many people needed their services), we were rescheduled. The crew arrived on time and removed a very large dead tree from among other trees with no damage to them. They removed the brush and branches and cut the trunk up into 3 ft. sections as requested, stacking the logs neatly. The work was done quickly and skillfully.

I don't know whether this vendor actually performed the service I paid for or not and that is the reason I have never responded to a survey. From my perspective the great deal I got on a lawn fertilization wasn't worth it. I feel like I just paid to get on this company's marketing list and for them to try to up sell me on other products and services offered by SavaTree. I really doubt if they did anything other than get my name and start trying to market me. I would not use them again. I wish I had never taken advantage of the deal that I received. They performed as promised and on schedule.

Technician arrived as scheduled, surveyed the area and made a few suggestions on condition and possible solutions for our lawn. I agreed to accept their basic service and they completed the job later. Their weed and feed service did improve our lawn and I highly recommend them for this type of service.

No improvement to lawn condition as of yet. Weeds are still thriving. I left a voice message concerning the weeds and await a call back. We'll know soon whether the cost will be worth the results.

We have been using them for a number of years, and they are a little bit expensive but do a pretty good job.

They were great. They had all the proper equipment and plywood sheets to protect my lawn from the weight and tracks of the crane. I have recommended them to several people since then.

It went fine, work was done as described in an on-line "deal". (Amazon, I think)

Purchased the big deal for yard work, specifically aeration of the yard. Did a good job. Our yard looked better the following spring. I'd buy it again IF I still lived in Virginia.

The service was very good. I had purchased a big deal for the service and they came out within a month. I would hire them again if I could get them on a similar price. The price was excellent for the service that they offered.

Crew along with Adam Das (project Manager) arrived on time. The crew did the work contracted for and did an excellant job cleaning up. They knew exactly what they were supposed to do and completed all work requested. I would definetly use them again.

I think they did a great job. I contracted them for further things. This is the first lawn care company, my grass looks great, it's very thick, it doesn't have any weeds, you can actually see the defining mark between my lawn and the neighbor's lawn. It's amazing how you can really see and define difference.
