They arrived on time and they just did and average job.

The experience turned out very well. I use them routinely. They are extremely reliable, and competent. I would recommend them. I would say they are probably not the cheapest, but they are the most competent for the price of the tree vendors that I have used. I use them every month.

They came out and looked around. I told them to do what they could within $400 but I never heard back, presumably because of the large amount of snow we recently received. They finally called and it turned out that the estimate was for almost $800. I said no because that was never discussed, so we are currently negotiating.

We had service for over 2 years, and it made a significant difference in the lawn. Would have continued, but planning on moving.

Scheduling was good. They tweaked the Big Deal for our needs and were very professional and polite. They cleaned up well after themselves. There prices are a little higher than others but you get what you pay for.

Went well - we got a note each time regarding the care of our lawn, what treatment was done, what we should watch for. The servicer was also in touch by email. I was happy with how my lawn looked and renewed for another year. I do think it is a bit overpriced, but the service is excellent.

They came out and they did a really good job.Our back lawn was just garbage which looked awful and we had some trees removed there but holes in the ground and they fixed our lawn. Whenever they come they leave a notice that they have been there and they are responsive to phone calls. We did have one where they didn't fill the holes when they were supposed to and then did fill it.They did come back and fixed it. They saved our lawn but it was expensive. The guy who did the work was great; he was articulate and very helpful.

We tried for 2 years to save a lawn part and we were not happy with the results. The first year was pretty good so we tried another year but last year was a disaster, I don't know whether it was all their fault but they would send somebody every time I called. I wrote them a letter last month and told them we weren't going to use their service anymore. We had a program which was very expensive and we were hoping for good results but neighbors who do their own yards look better than mine. The first year especially in spring, the yard was absolutely gorgeous and it just went downhill from there but David, the fellow who used to come out when I called, they were all very pleasant. I haven't really gotten anybody else yet and look into who else we're gonna have for lawn service but it seemed like a lot of money for the results. I know several people who had them do the tree work and they were satisfied but I would get several estimates before I use them for a lawn service. I thought it was expensive.

It’s fine. It was great. Last year, they come up to do the service. My husband handles all that and I can’t exactly remember if there is anymore but I do remember the aeration. The guy was polite and come when he said he would show up. He was timely and explain what he was gonna do before he did it. It’s all very clear and then what he promise he actually did it and he did a good job. He didn’t leave any mess and cleaned up after. It was all nice again and seemed to help the lawn.

That was great and they came out right away. They did excellent work. They were professional and the price was very good.

never used them but Angies List keeps putting up pop up to review them.

We hired SavATree - Springfield to get some lawn treatment and fertilizing done, and now we also use themfor regular lawn fertilization and pest control and maintain our trees and shrubs. They have a wonderful service. They send an email and a telephone call, alerting you when they're going to be coming out the next day, weather permitting. The people who come out to do the work have all been knowledgeable, professional, respectful of our property and pleasant. I have no complaints.

I would use them again, but next time, I would try to be there when they do it. It's kind of like getting a haircut - you ask for short and different barbers have different interpretations of short. If I was there, I could have asked them to be more aggressive in the pruning. There were a couple of things that they were going to work on, but I think that they missed. In all fairness, I've been too busy to call them about the things they missed (a couple of mulch piles at the base of a few trees that they were going to lighten up, but missed). The fellow who managed or owned the place(franchise?) seemed like a likeable guy so probably would have come back and done these missed things, perhaps. They sold me on some nutrient injection for several hundred bucks(if I recall correctly) that they would do several months later. I regret getting it as I am thinking of cutting down the same trees. So word to the wise is to never sign up for something in advance. Also, my personal "hunch" is that they are more conservative in pruning/cutting (for obviously good reasons as you can't put back on the tree what was cut off!), hence, the importance of being there when they prune/cut the branches.

We called because we had a diseased cherry tree in our front yard. SavATree. came out and provided us with a very detailed estimate along with their recommendations. We signed on for the service for a number of trees and shrubs. They pruned the diseased limbs from the tree and treated it with pesticide. We are very pleased with the service and intend to renew our contract for 2014,

They charged for a lawn treatment that was not performed. After calling the main office another appointment was made that was completed. The issue I had was being charged without actually having the service. The driver stated he had come by which I knew had not been the case because I was in the yard the entire morning.

They performed a quick weed-and-seed of the lawn, and we wound up signing up for the service on an annual (renewable) basis (and are still using this service). The only complaint we have is that we sill find weeds all over the lawn. That said, the lawn and trees are overall healthier than they were before, and have remained so since we've initiated the service.

After calling the company, they arranged for an arborist to visit our property to evaluate the project and give a quote. Arborist was knowledgeable, professional and arrived on schedule. The quote was given as either an hourly labor and equipment charge or a fixed rate. I chose the fixed rate, but I think the hourly rate would have worked out better for me. The crew finished the work much earlier than the estimated amount of time. The work crew failed to arrive on their first scheduled visit due to a truck maintenance problem. They arrived on time on their second scheduled attempt. Crew was hard-working, professional and used appropriate safety equipment. They followed the plan and the arborist arrived to supervise the work. I was very pleased with the result. Upon completion, lawn was left tidy with the tree cut into firewood lengths and stacked neatly. The tree stump was ground out at a later date with the location properly groomed.

It was wonderful and they do a great job. I had them do a number of things for us. I had my trees fertilized by them before with the same type of thing and then what I did this time were a variety of plants and some of the other bushes fertilized and what they do is that they come out, they inject the stuff into the ground so that it goes right into the root system of the bushes, trees, various plants and things like that. It was a seaweed base thing so it really makes them grow and strong. I have old trees and they've done a wonderful job with the oaks and the oak trees are in their 70s so anything helps. They came out a couple of times and done some work for me, I really enjoyed their service and they do a really good job so when I saw the big deal, I bought it. They are super good, efficient, and stand by their work, if there's a problem or something you call them back and they came right back out and check it out. They got good customer service. The price is high but what they do is great so it works.

cut down trees and removed debris. Finished cutting down a tree that had been started by Rickey's Tree Service but had not been finished. I will use them always, at least as long as Brian is there. He was terrific.

They were efficient and on time. They did the process of fertilizing. They looked at everything when they came and they gave us the cost of their overall recommendation for our complete yard services.

SaveATree did a great job removing a very large 200 year old oak tree that was damaged and threatening the house. They started with a free inspection and estimate. The inspection was very detailed and resulted in a recommendation to remove the tree. The tree was very close to the house so it had to be removed with a crane. The team did a very nice job removing the tree. They were friendly, flexible, and very careful. We wanted to save the wood for firewood and they were very flexible to take that request, cut the wood up into manageable pieces, and stack it where we asked. At the end of the project, they went above-and-beyond to clean our yard. They swept and raked any debris that had fallen, cleaned up the saw dust, and cleaned mud tracked around the yard by their trucks. The crane and equipment did some minor, unavoidable damage to the yard (tire tracks, etc) but the team came back the next week to repair the tracks and re-seed no questions asked.

Service was exceptional as usual. I have used SavATree for many years (in OHIO & now in VIRGINIA). This company has highly trained employees. Its arborist & service personnel have always been willing to discuss the health of my trees & shrubs.They are answer my questions & make recommendations about what I can do to keep my trees/shrubs healthy. This includes the positive way to prune trees if needed. No "haircut" look for my trees!! I will continue to recommend this company whenever I can. I value my trees & Boxwoods & feel that SavATree does too.

It went really well. One man came with a liquid fertilizer truck and injected nutrients around the trunk of each tree. He was thorough and professional.

The experience went fine. There were a few more things that needed to be done and I ended up spending more than what the purchase deal was for. I think they are a good company and they were right on target with what I needed to have done.

There a various types of aeration of soil - one pulls out plugs and the other just punches holes in the lawn. I thought I was getting the former, but got the latter. With very hard soil in northern virginia, I'm not sure just punching holes works very well. The machines have a tough time punching holes in the lawn/ hard ground and so I'm not sure it really aerates the soil well at all. I think it's just a waste of money especially if the ground is very hard because we have had no rain in awhile. The other method of pulling out plugs is better, but it too also has problems when the soil is so hard. But I have found it works better.
