They did a decent job and came back a second time to treat additionally for certain areas. They were nice to work with and as I recall they were here on-time for the work.

It went fine. They did the work when I was traveling.

I had scheduled weeks in advance to have an arborist visit my house to estimate a job. It was important that I be there to understand the health of my many trees, so I took the morning off from work to meet them. I received a voice mail 5 minutes before our scheduled appointment telling me the arborist was sick and wouldn't be coming. While I understand things happen, I find it unprofessional that I was only contacted 5 minutes before the appointment, as I'm sure that the arborist knew they were sick prior to that point. They voice mail asked me to follow up to reschedule. Well, that's not going to happen. It's been 4 days and I haven't received an apology or a call attempting to reschedule, so I assume they don't need me as a customer. I'm looking for another company to do my tree work.

The workers were fine and did what they had to do. The scheduling was easy and fine.

We probably should not have any complaints because they told us the cost when we scheduled the work. We got what we paid for -- very professional work at a high cost.

It was great. In fact I'm keeping them doing lawn and tree care. It's been very good. What I started to do is prepay everything so I prepaid the whole season, spring to late fall. What stands out is the professionalism of Mr. Wesley. He's very personable and really seemed to care about what are the things that I needed. No pushy sales and that was great. He's very open. They're a real decisions of mine and he just do it that way. It's worth it but it's still a little pricey. When I've had questions and issues they'd come right out. They'll come if not today then it's the next day.

,Except for a little mix-up on when to start, everything went very well. The workmen were very efficient and professional. i have used this company before and will continue to use them.

Responsive to queries, professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and punctual. The manager and crew were great.

After reading various reviews of SavATree - Springfield, it appeared they would handle smaller jobs like a single large tree. I called to start estimate and lady responded they "don't do any tree work for under $500". This confused me because in the first two pages of reviews alone their customers reported various tree work for prices such as "$450, $300, $199, $200, $477". I told the woman I'm confused because the various reviews and she just said "okay" and hung up. Not sure what is going on here, maybe they have too much business and don't want smaller jobs. Must be a nice problem to have!

Went well as we expected.

I bought one of the big deals in Feb and was contacted promptly by the company who sent a local person out to give me an estimate on various things. I didn't contact them again until mid summer when I was ready to proceed with the work. After sending an email to the contact at the company (national headquarters) and receiving a reply that the local person would be contacting me soon to set it up, nothing happened for weeks. In the interim, a storm badly damaged one of the trees which I wanted pruned, leaving a large portion hanging. I again contacted them a few times and, long story short, finally got them to come out and perform the service. The damaged limb which was overhanging a large portion of my lawn and blocking the sunlight had been there so long that the grass died. When I got home after the work was performed, I noted that there was still a very long branch sticking up from the damaged tree they pruned and immediately contacted the local arborist. He said he was just about to leave town for vacation but would send someone else to take care of it. No one ever came and I expect that branch to be be damaged next storm so that I'll either have to hire someone else to do it or just cut it myself where it snaps (hoping I don't kill the tree). The one good thing was they did also prune a few extra shrubs in the front while they were out here beyond what was discussed at no extra charge so that was a pleasant surprise.

They were very good. They were competent and I went with them because I saw their truck in our neighborhood and the concept of saving a tree rather than cutting down a tree indicated that they were not going to come and just cut down trees.

Work was performed well. A few small loose branches and tree pieces remained after the service. Workers were professional and timely, and we were happy with the work. Price was on the high side compared to other estimates. We would definitely consider the company again for estimates and work.

Had some spots where the turf was torn by the drive wheels but did a very good job.

It went fine. I was satisfied with their service. I was not at home when the workers came but I know it was pretty good. The cost is very expensive that is why I will not use them again.

They came to do the work. The guy who came spoke zero English, so we couldn't communicate very well. It was all hand gestures, and they didn't finish what the guy who had come earlier said they would finish. They did do a lot of work, and the guy was having a tough time, because his chain saw kept stopping several times, and he had to change chains, and then he gave up on the last part of the big tree that had come down, which is what I had signed up for. He was there for a few hours, and did some work, but he didn't do 100% of what the guy originally said he would do. I never got any follow up or anything, asking if every thing was good. The guy left, and pointed to it, and said no, and then left. We arranged a date, and he said the person would be there from 8 to 12, and I waited around, and called at around midday, and he said he didn't know why. Then he called me back and said that the truck broke down, and they would have to schedule another day. He did a lot of cutting, but he didn't do the stump part which was big. The guy who did the work, was polite, but he didn't speak the language.

They came out to fertilize and did a fine job. I wanted someone to landscape but all they do is put fertilizer down. What I got was not really what I wanted but they did a good job. I used their services a few times.

Had two large oak trees pruned and deadwood removed. Trees look great now. Has really cut down on sticks and branches in yard after storms.

Excellent support from estimate to post job assessment. I had three estimates. Sava a tree was a few hundred dollars more but the level of detail in their assessment of the job was far more critical and detailed than the other "A" list contractors from Angie's list. The arborist (salesman) showed up before the crew and we went over the plan again to make sure we were in agreement on the plan before they started work. He also went over the plan in detail with his crew. The three man crew were extremely professional. The arborist showed up at noon to make sure the job was going well, he also called after completion of the job to make sure it was completed to my satisfaction. Pros: arborist had exceptional knowledge of tree and yard maintenance; arborist listened to me to understand what I wanted and not what he wanted to sell; arborist was genuinely interested in my satisfaction; workers had all the right equipment with them; workers worked very effectively as a team, they all worked hard; the workers were very conscientious about not damaging any of my property while conducting their work; the workers were very safe in performing their work; the workers asked my permission when they needed to deviate from the original plan; the workers were very customer oriented and wanted to please me; the yard clean up was outstanding, they did my spring cleaning for me; everyone I met from the company had been with the company a long time, says a lot about the company. Cons: a little higher in cost but probably justifiable given the outstanding level of service from start to end.

He has a strong background in horticulture & quickly processes what is needed for the job. He arrives with his work crew & makes certain there is a clear understanding of what needs to be done. I have used SAVATREE for many years & have always been pleased.

We've found them to be professional and competent.

We had two very professional workers almost all day. They arrived promptly, went to work and performed a wonderful trimming job on several of our trees and bushes. Some trees required climbing to reach the limbs. All of the debris was ground up and our driveway was left clean. I have used Save A Tree before. They are a bit expensive but worth paying for their knowledge and professionalism.

Technician was prompt. He told me the one time treatment was worthless. Informed me I needed multiple treatments for this chemical to really work. Makes sense! should have been told this prior to purchasing the deal.

Great company - had to coordinate stump removal with replacement of retaining wall. Sav-A-Tree was great and able to work with me on a day-to-day basis (the retaining had to come down, stump had to be removed and then new retaining wall had to go up) - very professional company.

We were extremely pleased with the professionalism of Save A Tree's plant health care program. We believe that our trees are as much of an investment as our home, and we are grateful to Save A Tree for helping us to protect these living assets. The professionals were skillful and friendly--even waving from a topmost branch so I could snap a picture! They explained their plan before beginning work. The arborist, Brian McLaughlin, was knowledgeable about the oak's scale and anthracnose problems. The cherry and pines suffered from scale, and the spruces from mite damage. There was also lace bug damage on the azaleas. He walked our property before formulating a plan of attack. We sat down and talked about the plan and agreed on pricing. My husband and I highly recommend Save A Tree and would not hesitate to call them again.
