He arrived bright and early and worked all day on feeding the trees by injecting the formula into the roots. He was very nice and worked very hard--at least the ground was wet and he was better able to do the work. The trees are doing much better since this is the second time we have had this work done.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out great. I hired them for a contract to do my lawn treatment. I paid the Deal price then got additional services. My grass in my patio was looking all nasty and now I actually have grass, it looks nice. They're really pricey but I would recommend them.

I needed this work done anyway so the Big Deal saved me some money. Overall, it turned out well. It’s hard to judge the efficiency of a fertilizer treatment until some time has passed. So far, it seems to be good quality. The technician is professional, friendly, and accommodating.

Their lead guy, Randy was prompt and knowledgeable and they took care of the tree promptly and correctly. I was particularly grateful that they were able to do it quickly then because the area had been hit by a microstorm and other companies were offering to do the job a week later. I find myself in the same situation today, though the tree fell for different reasons. I hope to again be treated to prompt and good service by knowledgeable technicians.

They provided us a good service in fact we used them subsequent to that. When you got these really good deals, big deals it almost leads to purchase of something else and that was fine. We ended up having them come back and the guy that came was pretty on the spot. It was about a huge there that we have concerned about we might be losing because of the disease and we had them to do a deep seeding for this tree. We felt comfortable with them and felt very upfront about the possibility of saving the tree or not saving the tree and they came back on time for the second treatment.We ended up paying way more than the price because we contacted them to come back for a second treatment. They were professional and they were on time. They drill big holes around the tree and pump the staff in and they leave. They were responsive, informative and they answered all our questions.

Received estimate from Eric Denlinger who presented himself very professionally. Team arrived promptly and were remarkably friendly. I was impressed how they managed to cable and get up into the higher areas of the tree. Excellent cleanup and the tree looks much cleaner and attractive. Besides a back and forth on the scheduled date, no problem encountered. I had never used them previously but I plan to use them again in the future.

They pruned and fertilized my trees and shrubs for about 2 years, which went well. They were very accommodating in working with my travel schedule and I was happy with their service. In the end, however, I decided to switch to a full service company that also did yard maintenance and landscaping so I didn't have to schedule with two different service providers.

This professional company surpassed my expectations. The representatives are highly trained, some arborists and with degrees in Landscaping and Lawn/Tree Care. My contact was punctual, professional and easy to work with. His depth of knowledge about biological details -botany and horticulture -was impressive. The work done on aeration and seeding was thorough. The team used a piston driven machine that thoroughly worked over the lawn far better that the usual roller-drum machine. Their prices were reasonable and well worth the investment.

We used the discount on Angies List to clean up some of the larger trees in our backyard that were damaged by one of the hurricanes that came through. My wife called to set up the appt. and arrange a time for them to come and do some tree work from the damage. Everything worked out as planned.

After a very powerful storm knocked down a bunch of limbs and other tree debris into our yard we called up SaveATree for some services. They came and did the work that we asked them to do. Didn't really have any problem with them. They seem to do lots of business in the Alexandria, VA area.

Communication was good. Service was good. I got an awsome deal with Angie's Big deal for fertilization for my trees. Great Deal. They arrived promptly. Very professional. Also had a couple of spidermite treatments last season. My bushes look great htis year I think due to these treatments. I do think that the other services I was quoted for were a big on the high end. Overall good service.

I might try the company again for other tree services, but I will not get this kelp treatment again. It is a total waste of money and the automatic coming out for the next treatment each year is a problem if someone forgets to cancel in time and is stuck with a multi hundred dollar bill. Customers should be contacted ahead of time and an appointment date set up with clients to confirm they want to continue with the treatments. I have noticed a lot of other reviewers also complaining about these treatments being done when they didn't want to continue with treatments after using the Big Deal.

We have a 100+ year-old oak tree that we wanted to make sure was healthy. Randy came buy to give us an estimate. He was punctual and very personable. The crew came when promised, performed the tree trimming, and disposed of all the branches that were removed. The entire process was worry-free.

That service was good but it was costly. I canceled the service because it was very expensive. I also canceled because they send routinely routed emails giving a one day business notice of when they were to come to do the work. We have a dog and need at least forty eight hours notice.

The service turned out very well. They did a good job. We have no complaints. They came when they said they would, did their job, cleaned up after themselves and we were completely satisfied. We would use them again.

They performed as specified. The work was timely and well done.

Person I talked to was really professional and very friendly. He explained what was going to happen clearly. Then people came and did the job later. My only problem was that I REQUESTED some kind of note or proof on my door for when the job was done. Since they were just injecting liquid into the ground, there was no way for me to know that the job was actually done since there was no proof that anyone showed up. So, if they did show up and did the job, then everything was fine. Since I don't really know for sure, I can only hope I got what I paid for.

Goes well every time. I walk by other homes in the neighborhood and point and see lawns full of weeds. I had an ugly lawn one summer. I tried to handle it myself and burned the lawn. My home is an end unit townhouse with the neightborhood mailbox in front. I don't want people coming by looking at an ugly lawn. They keep the grass healthy and all I do is mow and spend time on my landscaping cheores, which I enjoy.They really turned my lawn around in one season. I feel good when I pull up to my home and see the plus green grass.

company performed as described. They did try to sell me on a more expensive and longer service contract, but were completely professional in the way they went about it.

They were very personable. It was easy to get an appointment.

Overall it went slow. They were fast to take my deposit on Tuesday Oct. 30. A crane finally showed up to my place on November 2. The trees were moved from on top of our garage to on and around the driveway. Clearing away the trees and debris from our house was a slow process but Savatree ended up delaying it more than it should have. We requested that they grind the stump. Their first machine broke down. The second machine they brought could not go up the hill the stump was on. We were unsatisfied with the results as only 1/5 of the stump was ground down. We emailed our insurance adjuster about this. We then got a second opinion from another tree company. This second company said they could grind it down completely. We ended up hiring the second company. They have better equipment which made all the difference. Their arborist Dave is a nice guy but during this time I got a lot of excuses from him. "Our crane operator is out" "You need an excavator for the rest of this [stump]" "The stump grinder broke" FYI, Telling the crewmember (Daniel) on the jobsite what needs to be done is useless since he does not discuss things with Dave and Daniel does not put any effort into making things right for the customer. Lisa in accounts receivable was very helpful. I had to get her to call my insurance adjuster to get the ball rolling on payment. She waved the late payment fee as well. Their main office is near 495 off the braddick rd exit in a somewhat industrial building complex. I went there to drop off the insurance check. Another thing, we were told our tree was the oak and the neighbors was poplar. In actuality neighbors tree was red oak... They did not even get this detail right.

It turned out fine. They did the work we asked for. They were reasonably priced.

It went well. They did what they said they would do I could tell that it killed the weeds!

All of my contacts with SavATree/SavALawn were handled professionally. The worker showed up on time and appeared to do a thorough job. He didn't leave a mess on my sidewalks or driveway. I would call this company again for lawn services.
