I was VERY impressed with the owner Ryan's friendliness and professionalism. His men did a GREAT job of grinding the hedge roots and tree stump on my property leaving the ground well raked and flat. They also hauled all off all the refuse. I was completely satisfied and HIGHLY recommend RYAN'S LANDSCAPING INC. to others.

I have been using Ryan's to provide my lawn care for the last 6 years. They mow weekly, fertilize, seed, aerate, and do special landscaping projects. They are affordable, reliable, and my lawn looks better with every passing year. When most of my neighbors are having problems with weeds and other lawn issues, my yard looks great. I love Ryan's and highly recommend the company!

I originally got him from Angie's List, and I am absolutely thrilled by the work he does. It is owned by Ryan. He is fantastic. He is very responsive, and the work is very good. He does really good work, and the price is fair. It is not inexpensive, but the work is really good, and he usually does above and beyond what you ask him to do. He will look around, and if he sees another bush that needs to be taken care of, he will take care of it, even if it is not on the price list. He is very responsive, he is there when you make an appointment, and his team comes back when he says they are going to be there.

They had good ratings, and gave me the best quote. He was very prompt to respond and have told other people about him as well. Quality was very good.

Perfect service as was my experience last year with Ryan's Landscaping. They cleaned up for winter as promised and came when they said they would, did the perfect job and cleaned up all area he promised and even areas he did not charge for!!!!! Ryan will be recommended by me because of his quality and professionalism, I would definitely use them again-In fact he is coming out to do some Pennsylvania slate stone work in front of my house!!!

FANTASTIC start to finish! I called Ryan for an estimate -- he was able to come the next day and provided a quote by the end of that business day. He discussed trade off options with me while I was deciding whether to to some or all of the work originally quoted. I also met with two other landscaping companies but selected Ryan based on price and availability. He and his crew arrived on time -- nearly to the minute. In addition to Ryan being at the site to kick off the job -- there was a foreman there for the day that kept in touch with me from time to time with questions and progress. Ryan was also at the job several times throughout the day working and checking on progress. He identified other things that the crew could do while they were there -- but they were presented as options and there was no pressure to agree to additional work. The crew did a fabulous job -- everything looks great -- I couldn't be happier.

Ryan is GREAT to work with. This is my second large job with Ryan's Landscaping and I would (and frequently do) recommend them to anyone. His team is punctual and they work quickly, and they are very fairly priced. They are also very flexible and will take care of other little requests while they are on property. The finished product looks GREAT. The backyard was overgrown and ugly, and now it is flat, lush and beautiful!! Look forward to working with Ryan again in the Spring.

Outstanding service as was my experience last year with Ryan's. They came when they said they would, did the job and cleaned up before they left. Ryan is responsive and professional, would definitely use them again.

Ryan and his crew were professional and completed the work very quickly. On day one, they graded and prepared the ground where the sod would be laid. After removing all the debris, they put down a good layer of topsoil. On the 2nd day, they laid the sod and laid down grub pesticide because they noticed that I had a large amount of grub activity, which wouldn't be good for the new sod. Everything looks great, and I would use them again.

Overall they did well. They did everything that they said that they would do. The part that they did not do well was that we had these ornamental trees and they didn't make it look nice. They were prompt. They charged what they said they'd charge. They are not artists. They are gardeners. They do things practically, but don't focus too much on the presentation of the trees. They do things functionally. They are fine at weeding and mulching, but if you wanted stuff to look pretty, they don't do that. They did make sure that I approved after they did stuff and adjusted to what I wanted. When I wanted an additon, they were very flexible about that and they gave me a very reasonable price and did the extra work well.

We hired Ryan to put in some sod and to landscape a small area. The sod he used was terrible and never really developed into grass. The areas he sodded have either died or been overcome by weeds. It looks worse than the grass he cut out of the yard. I have tried several times to get him to come by and evaluate the sod but even after he finally replied to a call and told me he would come out, he didn't. His website says he only uses quality products from local l vendors but he said he was getting this sod from manassass or centerville. The quality of his work/products is horrible. We just recently had a patio put in and the sod used by that contractor has really taken. Projects were done about two weeks apart so I know they received the same watering times and frequency. This was not a cheap project and his attitude toward correcting the issue is not consistent with someone who cares about his work or customer satisfaction. Spend your money with a better contractor. This one is terrible. Response to vendors reply: I called Ryans Landscaping within 3 weeks of the job being completed to have him come by and see the issues we were having. The sod you installed was treated just like the rest of the sod the patio contractor installed. Yours turned into a weed bed, his did not. You know you had more than one request to come by and look at the issues. You chose not to.

I called in 3 different Angies List contractors for an estimate. Ryan came out and explained to me what he"HE: thought would look good. I agreed! I trusted his experience, and WOW it paid off. The other guys were good, but I have seen Ryan's work around the Annandale area before and decided to use him. By far impressed with the quality of the work. Will be using him for work on our home in the Spring

I called to request an estimate for approximately $3000 worth of landscaping work in our yard. Ryan was very responsive and scheduled an appointment right away. We received a call the day he was to come saying he was late, which was fine and appreciated. But when he arrived he was distracted, and left promising to send an estimate. That was over a month ago. We never heard from him. We had the work done by J&J and were delighted. As for Ryan's posted response: He is mistaken about my having contacted him twice in two years. I am new to Angie's list and never heard of him before June 2014. I had never contacted him in the past. He is also mistaken about calling us back and giving us an estimate and being told it was too high. We received no call, no estimate, and had no contact with Ryan after he came to discuss the job. And finally - we were never offered his business card. He was not even that professional.

He had his guys come over and do it. No magic, just simple seeding, aerating and fertilizing. Have used him for leafremoval i n the past as well.

We were very pleased with everything they did. Ryan showed up with a crew that immediately went to work. He made sure everything was completed to my satisfaction. We had a very bad drainage problem by our gate and are extremely pleased with the dry well. Also, while he was there I asked if he could remove four trees that were not in my original plans and he did at a minimal charge. I will definitely use Ryan again.

Today is July 11 and we are still waiting for him to call back. My recommendation is that if you value your time or you like customer service skip Ryan's Landscaping.

The project went great! Ryan came by to give to review what I wanted and gave me options, and then gave me a price quote. Two weeks later his crew came out and began their work at 7:30 am and wrapped up by 11:30 am. They did a great job and cleaned up very nicely before departing.

No issues with services at all- Ryan personally provides input and stays in touch with client to ensure satisfaction!

Ryan's crew did a fantastic job in our yard. It looks fantastic, and we are very pleased with the service. With all the rain, the date needed to be moved from Monday to Friday, but Ryan let us know ahead of time, and was still able to get everything done before the long weekend! We are very happy with the service and professionalism of Ryan and his team. We would enthusiastically recommend Ryan's Landscaping!

We use Ryan exclusively for our yard needs. He comes to do a walk through ahead of time, then provides an estimate, schedules the work, returns with his crew on the day of the work, turns the job over to his lead once they understand what needs to be done, the lead checks in with you when they are done - to do a walk through, if you want any modifications they are then completed before they leave. The crews are sizable so that the work is done quickly. Everything is cleaned up before they leave and all the guys are polite and friendly! We love Ryan's landscaping!

I could not be happier with the results. He took the time to meet with us prior to determine the layout and brick style that would look best for a relatively small patio space. He and his team deliver great results and are very courteous and punctual. We would highly recommend reaching out to Ryan and his team!

Ryan's "army" came as scheduled and did an absolutely beautiful job in my yard. In addition to cleaning up and putting down mulch, they installed a dry river bed and repaired a rotted landscaping step. I am very pleased with the results, and look forward to working with Ryan again.

Ryan and his crew have been amazing to work with on our project, which involved replacing a retaining wall, removing fencing, taking down a tree and grading our yard. Ryan came out to do an estimate within a few days of our request and provided us a reasonable quote within 24 hours. He was extremely responsive and followed up quickly with all of our requests and questions. The crew arrived on time and worked efficiently to compete the work in just a few days. Ryan was on site quite a bit to help oversee the actual work and he has knowledgeable foreman who worked with us when he wasn't there. We are extremely pleased with the quality and results of the project. Our backyard looks like a whole new (and better) place! Thank you!
