Ryan returned our call about a week after we contacted him and came to our house within a day of that to give us an estimate. He then scheduled our job, for about two weeks out, however he needed to push that date out by about a week because we had been getting so much rain during those two weeks. When his crew arrived, they went right to work and did what they could, before getting rained out. The next day they arrived early in the morning and completed the job. We would have like a bit more trimmed off the side of our tree, but we fault ourselves because we did not look up before they left, as we were so happy about the rest of the work. The only improvement could be in case where multiple things are being done, maybe the job supervisor could review each of the tasks when it is complete, to insure it is to the customer's satisfaction. Like I said, we should have noticed, because we are certain they would have trimmed more if we asked them to. Ryan has worked for us before, and his crews do a great job!

Ryan was extremely prompt and responsive to our initial call and was able to start work within a few days after we met. His crew of twelve descended upon our yard bright and early, each with a leaf blower in action. In short order, they had every single leaf blown into a huge pile in the front yard. I had to leave for work, but was absolutely amazed at the our lawns' transformation over the course of the day. We had extensive tree and bush damage from this past winter's storms. His crew had trimmed and reshaped all of the damaged trees and shrubs, and now, two months later, there is little indication of the extent of the damage. Our lawn has never looked better, the moss is gone and the whole yard looks lush, green and virtually weed free. We are the envy of the neighborhood. Will definitely hire Ryan again and highly recommended him,

They brought a crew of about a dozen guys who all seemed experienced and organized, and worked together to finish the job the same day. It was incredible to see so many workers continuously working together to comeplete the job. The yard looked great when they were done, and still does!

Saturday morning I called and Ryan came out that morning. Went over problem with hill and drainage; I wanted no-mow ground cover and walkway to gate, and small wall at bottom of hill. I left choice of materials fairly open with general requirements. Write up was very basic with total and up front cost for work. Ryan's work crew came out Friday about 2 hours later than indicated, but team worked for about 4 hours, and a supervisor (Joe) and later Ryan was out to check on it. I later talked with supervisor Joe about possibly adding another tree and when they would be back to finish. Joe indicated they would be back Monday and I should call and leave message with Ryan about tree. I left message asking for return call but no contact made. Monday while I was at work they completed the job, during which I talked with Ryan by phone to discuss last portion. I came home late to see completed job. I thought it was an excellent job and very pleased and called Ryan to arrange final payment. Only critique, which was not an issue in my case, is that the exact details of what would be done were left fairly general. I was not sure what it would look like until I got home from work to see it finished. Fortunately what was done, I found to be very much to my liking.

I think the quote was for a couple of thousand dollars. The guy that came out was very nice and I think he quoted me a fair price. I learned about him from some friends of mine that used him and I decided to look him up on the list. He was good and right on time. He gave me a booklet to look through some different options to help me talk through what we might be interested in.

He didn't spend too much time making suggestions. There wasn't much discussion, so it seemed rushed. He responded promptly and seemed fairly professional.

They are fabulous. I have recommended them to other people. They came in right on target with their budget. They did an excellent job and they were very professional. I really like them and would hire them again.

I called Ryan's Landscaping to request an estimate for landscaping beds in our front yard and possible work in the back. I spoke to Ryan and he seemed interested and scheduled an appointment for that week. I made a special effort to be their for the appointment and he never showed up or called to explain. He is by no means the only landscaper to do this, but I will not use anyone this irresponsible.

The work turned out great. They came out very quickly. The owner was very personable and he came out and did the estimate. He was on site when the work was done. We would use them again in future.

It went great...we could not be happier...we would recommend him and will likely use him in the future...

They are a small local company and the owner's name is Ryan. It is hard to know these days about the prices, but I think their price is good. The quality of work is good. They are responsive, punctual, and professional. I keep going back to them.

I am very happy with their services and will use them again.

Ryan came out for the estimate, quoted a very good price and told me what day his crew was available to perform the work as soon as possible. His crew showed up on the agreed upon day in the right time window and consulted with me before beginning the work. The work was done quickly and for a good price - very happy with the results.

He was recommended by my neighborhood nursery. He is very reliable and very prompt. His pricing is reasonable and good. We basically started using him for cutting and trimming. We then used him for picking up the leaves in the fall and also for hedges. I can?t maintain my garden as I used to, so I rely on him for all that. My garden looks absolutely beautiful. Things go beautifully when I follow his advice. His workers come a set day every week. I just call him up if I need any other work and he responds within a week. I would continue to use him in future.

The company did not show up for our appointment. Had called Friday, August 28, talked about the problems with the owner, and set up an appointment with the owner to come to the house to further discuss the issues described above. The appointment was set for Tuesday, September 1 at 5:30 pm. and we revolved our plans that day around that appointment. When no one came as of 6:00 pm Sept. 1 we called the company's phone number and left a message saying we were ready and waiting for the appointment, so hoped there was no problem. We called again at 7:30 and left another message. We assumed having left two messages saying we were waiting for someone to show up we would at least hear from the company the next day with an explanation for the no show/no call, but did not. We've hired many companies from Angie's List and have never had a bad experience like this. In fact, it seems the people we find from Angie's List always go out of their way to give great service. This was extremely disappointing as we spent a lot of time finding what we thought was the right company for the job.

They have cut the yard around the house and incorporated trimming work. My wife found this company and we have been quite happy with their service. I believe we will continue to use them again in the future.

Great experience. As far as we're concerned, Ryan is our landscaper as a result of this work and we will definitely be using him again. We sought out estimates from several contractors and felt Ryan was the most responsive of the bunch. His initial design was a bit more than we wanted, but he was very willing to work with us to get us more of what we wanted and for the price we were willing to pay. The other contractors -- what they gave us was pretty much a one shot, take it or leave it estimate. Obviously, Ryan earned the job and he and his crew did the work one week later. Couldn't have been more pleased with the results and all the neighbors were mightily impressed with the "dramatic" change to the front of our home. A+.

Our experience with Ryan's Landscaping was excellent from start to finish. The cost was far better than the other estimates, and they did a superb job. The owner, manager and team leader were really nice people and very responsive. We are so glad we found them.

Overall I was very, very pleased with the service. Joe was patient about explaining what he felt needed to be done and answered all my questions. The crew that came seemed quite professional and worked hard. I was very happy with the process and today, about a month later, basement remains dry. I only rated the price good simply because it was a lot of money and I wasn't really sure what a job like that should cost, but I wanted it done quickly to stop the leak so did not want to get other estimates. I relied on the company's excellent ratings on Angies List and I hope and assume I got a fair price.

Every aspect of working with Ryan and his crew was a fabulous experience. Ryan was prompt in returning phone calls and came to check on his crew every day. He was responsive to any of our questions or concerns. The patio and stairs, along with the repair work from squirrel damage, was completed in about 4 days. They cleaned up our yard, leaving it completely free of debris and work materials. The crew even placed grass seed and straw down on the grass next to the new stairs. Something that was not in the original contract and we were not charged for. We would definitely hire Ryan's Landscaping again!

Ryan quoted the job about 1.5 months ahead of actual service date. Originally, quoted $320 for cleanup of leaves, branches & debris on lawn. When we went to go ahead with the project the owner haggled about the original price quoted & wanted to charge more. He finally agreed to do the service at the original price. We went ahead with the service and added a mow/trim for an additional $40. The day the work was completed, our branches were not fully removed from the yard and no trim work was completed around fencing, street lawn, etc. I called to inform Ryan of these overlooked details and he stated that since we hadn't paid a higher price than the original quote, they would NOT be returning to finish the job. Overall, I paid $360, for an unsatisfactory job & would NOT recommend this contractor to my neighbors or friends.
