I will definitely be doing business again with Ricky’s lawn and landscaping. Their pricing was very reasonable, he was accommodating and attentive to what I was looking to accomplish. His crew was amazing! The guys that were here for a week were very hard-working, detail-oriented, professional, knowledgeable, and they worked great as a team. This was a great experience for me, and I’m hoping to work with them in the future, but I would highly recommend them if you’re considering work in your lawn, landscaping, or driveway.

Ricky is a nice and friendly person, easy to deal with - he quickly found time to come over, agreed to to do the work on short notice, was easy to reach, and was flexible about changing the date when we needed to do that. His price estimate was competitive and reasonable. (One company I called doesn’t even bid for jobs under $7,000.) But the main reason I’m writing this review is his quality of work. His team did an incredible job, with care and attention to detail. They were on time, very friendly and polite, and skilled craftsmen. When finished, they cleaned up carefully. One more point to mention. When we got to the invoice, we found that we didn’t get charged for several minor changes that came up during the work. Instead, Ricky stuck to our agreement and even rebated us (without being reminded) for a shrub that we decided we didn’t need. That to me shows honesty and integrity. We got really lucky by finding Ricky and his company. I can’t recommend them enough!

I am so impressed with this company and its people. They were affordable, fast, flexible, and professional. I can’t wait to hire them for my next landscaping project.

Ricky’s installed steps leading from our sidewalk to a lower deck. The work was outstanding. I’d provided ideas of what I wanted, and Ricky helped me make final decisions. They were patient about timing so we could get Reston Association approval prior to work beginning. Ricky’s design incorporated the size, material, and the exact look and feel we wanted. The design allowed enough space to make the steps comfortable to use and safe, all while blending gracefully into the landscape and providing a place to garden beside the steps. They also incorporated gutter extensions below the landscaping to improve drainage. The team worked efficiently and neatly. I would definitely have Ricky’s Lawn & Landscaping back for future work.

The request was for a “gothic style” or keltic knot for the front yard. The implementation exceeded my expectations- it’s simply beautiful. I am glad I was home as I was able to see the care taken to achieve the design. And the greenery surrounding the hard scape was perfect - which was Ricky’s recommendation.

Ricky and his team did an amazing job from planning to completion. Ricky listened carefully to my concerns about my yard and offered sensible solutions that were cost-effective and look great! The quality of the work was exceptional, and the people on the team were a pleasure to work with. This is the second project I have hired Ricky and his team for. I will definitely hire them again.

Ricky is a pleasure to deal with, up front and honest. As the job developed, he provided us with options for upgrades and worked very hard to accommodate our budget. His team are some of the hardest workers I have ever seen and took pride in their work and craftsmanship. They were also very nice people. This was a big job and our expectations were exceeded. Ricky’s Lawn and Landscaping is one of the best companies that I’ve ever hired. Ricky is a true professional who is very responsive to communication and offers a variety of solid solutions to landscaping issues. His prices are extremely reasonable and his quotes are accurate. Ricky’s team shows up when he says they’ll be there and gets right to work. On our yard projects they worked well into the evening and the whole team was polite, efficient, and professional. They have transformed our lot from what was a big mess into a beautiful yard. They constructed a new patio that is very well-designed and built a French drain in the back that works perfectly and exactly how he said it would. They also do our grass cutting, leaf removal, and gutter cleaning. The yard always looks excellent when they complete the job. After dealing with several landscaping companies during my time in this area, I truly believe this really is the best in Northern Virginia.

Ricky and his crew are amazing! I’ve had a lot of landscaping work done by them in the past and am always very satisfied. Recently, I had Ricky create a new flagstone patio, redo my basement stairwell wall in flagstone, and redo my front walkway in flagstone. He and his crew did an amazing job. They’re very professional, take their time doing it right, and treat your house like their own. My yard was cleaned up every day after they left. The crew is very friendly and just very nice people. I can’t say more good things about them.

Like the wok Ricky’s crew did the first time called to see if he could help with under stairs drainage. Came out my husband & Ricky made a plan & within a few days it was completed.

Ricky & his team arrived promptly at 8am each day. The guys worked hard, very pleasant individuals and know exactly what they are doing. The professionalism was great. After completing the work the team cleaned up very well and made sure everything was back in its rightful place. I’m so pleased with the drainage system & grey stacked stone wall they installed. It definitely improved the appearance of my backyard. I’m looking forward to having Ricky & his team improve my front yard landscape next.
