They were great, from making the appointment, following up to confirm the date and time, giving an accurate assessment of the cause of the leak and repairing it the same day. Could have easily told us we needed to replace our roof but were honest and upfront about the cause

Our interactions with Daniel, R.M. Banning project manager, were excellent. He listened to our concerns prior to and throughout the entire project. The office staff were amazing; Angela and Maria were prompt and pleasant with timely emails and phone call updates. A special "shout out" to the hard-working team that did the trim work.

R M Banning was very responsive to my initial call to inspect my roof for damage and to provide me with a quote to replace the gutters. Daniel was very professional, explained all options, and followed up with a quote. Angela coordinated with our painting contractor to ensure that the new gutters were installed after fascia replacement and painting - and before the rain came! Overall, we are super pleased with the folks, the coordination, the punctuality, the quality of the product, and the quality of the work! Definite 5 stars.

From first contact, to full replacement of large kitchen skylight, took 5 days including an intervening weekend. Javier arrived promptly and provided a clear, fair and professional written estimate later that day. The company arranged the replacement and kept me advised of date and time for the work. The roofer was here at the appointed time and performed highly professional work including the removal and replacement of cedar shakes around the skylight. He was friendly and efficient. Dealing with Angela in the office regarding paperwork and payment was a pleasure. No waiting on hold. Immediate replies to email. RM Banning was a great company from start to finish and we are already enjoying our new skylight. I give my highest recommendation.

The house had been suffering from dripping in the living room every time there were rains. It was driving us nuts. Banning replaced 1/3 of the roof near the chimney where the leaks were. After the roof was installed, leaks still occurred, so they returned and found some issues with the chimney and they repaired a cracked mortar joint. So pleased that they kept at it until the problem was resolved.

RM Banning has been our go-to roofing and siding contractor since we moved in 7 years ago. They took on a difficult (60 ft+ tall walls) siding repair job when other contractors balked or would only do full replacement. And then they took on that same job on the other side of our house just recently. They do professional, clean work, and are reasonably priced. I would not hesitate to work with them again in the future.

Our house is 50 years old and has had two cedar shake roofs. Being in a very wooded area of the Occoquan watershed, we chose asphalt shingles this time. The Resawn Shake color matched perfectly. Wet wood, dormer wrappings, vent flashings and skylights were replaced, too. We are very pleased with all the work, friendly employees, and the price!

After a storm took shingles off our roof causing a water leak in the house we called around to get an emergency tarp and repair done. So glad we selected RM Banning to help us! They were so easy to deal with. Came out immediately to tarp the roof at a fair and reasonable price. Quickly gave us a quote for a permanent fix and voila - all done! Great communication (even helped us understand the insurance claim process), they show up on time, take pictures so you can see everything they've done, and repair everything correctly. I had a great experience with R.M. Banning. I meet with three different roofing companies and their estimate fell in the middle but the attention to detail and knowledge about the job and its challenges sold me on them (even if they had the highest bid). Daniel invested a lot of time in the job even before I took his bid. He was a great point of contact and was on site at various times throughout the job, which is not common with many contractors. Not only was the work of the highest quality, I felt we were collaborating on my house in a meaningful way. Communication was consistent and reliable throughout the process. We have had a lot of work done since purchasing the home and wish that Banning could have done all of it!

I worked with Daniel Diaz, start to finish. and when I say that I mean Daniel was here at every step in the process. Outstanding customer service! The roof job went perfectly, on time and very minimal issues with gutters were resolved quickly with Daniel checking in on the progress. Doors and window install went very smoothly as well. Minor glitch with the french doors but that was resolved quickly with Daniel working with the manufacturer to ensure all issues were resolved. Communication and coordination was exceptional. Also no high pressure at the beginning which was not the case with some other companies. All in all a great experience, highly recommend!

Twenty-five years ago, we needed to replace our roof and, after evaluating several vendors in the Northern Virginia area, decided to go with Banning Roofing. This year, when we decided to replace our roof again, we asked Banning as well as several other vendors for estimates, and once again, Banning gave us the best deal. The job took two days to complete and Oscar (the foreman) and his crew were careful with our garden plants and did a great job cleaning up afterwards. Finally, when we noticed that one of our flip gutters was malfunctioning, a phone call brought Oscar and his crew back and they fixed the problem immediately. I have no hesitation recommending Banning as an excellent roof contractor and would be happy to call on him again in the future.

Great! The work from start to finish had excellent follow-through on all aspects of the project. The crews cleaned-up before leaving each day. Additionally, our questions and concerns were addressed and resolved to our satisfaction.

The team arrived on time completed the work in only a couple of hours. There was a follow-up visit to paint the inside of the skylight cells; this was also very well done.

It went VERY Well! The day they set to start the work my husband had a serious health problem and had to be rushed to hospital and was there for a week. They were so kind to me and they did a wonderful job. I went on to hospital and wasn't able to get back home until late in the day. They were able to complete the roof in one day and came back in a couple days and did the Chimney. All the people were so kind and helpful. I would gladly recommend they if you need work done!
